CHAPTER 14

"Where is his family?" andreas asked after finishing sewing the wound on Cleo's head.

"We've contacted his family" Kemal replied.

"You who?" tanyakanya.

"I'm the teacher, Doc. What happened to my students?" Kemal looks worried.

"We better wait for the patient's family." Andreas went back inside the curtain that covered Cleo.

"After his family comes, let me know." Andreas took off his gloves.

"Where's my daughter?" they all looked towards the new voice coming.

"Cleo's inside, sir." Kemal pointed towards the curtain, where Cleo was lying.

"Cleo!!" Adam opened the curtain and went straight to Cleo.

"What happened to my daughter?" I don't know who it was. Andreas was a little surprised to find out Adam was the parent of the snot boy.

"Are you her parents?" ask Andreas. Adam turned his head, he was also surprised when he saw Andreas who was taking care of his daughter.

"Yes, Doc. What happened to her?" tanyakanya.

"Your daughter is bleeding on her head. We'd better get an MRI, so we can see if there's bleeding inside or not." Andreas explains Cleo's condition to her.

"Alright, just do what's best" he replied.

"Sus, you take the patient immediately" he ordered as soon as Adam answered. They then pushed the gurney where Yuna was lying. Ayuna was still unconscious.

"What happened to my daughter?" Adam asked Kemal. Sandra and Kiano were unable to look Adam in the face.

"I don't know, sir. By the time we arrived, Cleo was already lying on the floor." replied Kemal. Andreas who heard this approached Adam.

"Sir, you better sit down first." Andreas sees Adam wearing the patient's shirt, he approaches him and invites him to sit down.

"Will he be okay?" tanyakanya.

"We have to see the results of his MRI first." Andreas could not give a definite answer to him.

"You guys, come here!" Kemal called Kiano and Sandra who had been there since.

"What's Cleo's condition, sir?" ask them as they approach.

"Cleo is conducting a thorough examination. Tell me, what really happened?" ask Kemal.

"I don't know, sir. When I got down, I saw Cleo lying on the stairs." replied Kiano.

"You?" He looked at Sandra.

"I don't know either. When we arrived, Cleo was already there." replied Sandra.

"We better pray Cleo's okay. If he is aware, we can find out the real events" Kemal said. "You'd better go home, it's late at night. Cleo let the father take care of." he said.

"Come on!" take Sandra. Kiano followed her out of the waiting room.

"Lo's sure no one's there?" ask Sandra.

"I'm sure there's only two of us." replied Kiano. "But Cleo mentioned Nayla. But, I didn't see Nayla there." she explained.

"Nayla?" Sandra looked at him sharply.

"Cleo just mentioned his name, but I didn't see him." Kiano Samgat believes Nayla is not there.

"Why did Cleo say her name? No, Nayla was there." Sandra begins to suspect Nayla.

"Nay, what's wrong with you?" Aisha repeatedly knocked on her bedroom door. She was confused to see the new Nayla go straight to her room and lock herself up. "Naila!!" call him again because there is no truth from within.

"I'm fine, ma'am" she replied. After hearing that, Aisyah walked back to the kitchen.

"What have I done? Is she okay?" Nayla went back and forth in her room. "I'm innocent, I accidentally pushed him." Nayla climbed onto the bed, and bent her legs.

"Sir, what happened to Miss?" bi Ita looks panicked when she sees Adam in the waiting room.

"I don't know yet, they're still checking on him" Adam replied.

"Why is this so?" bi Ita was really worried about his condition. It was seen some nurses pushing Cleo's gurney back into the ER.

"How, Sus?" adam asked, Cleo was still using oxygen and not yet conscious.

"Later Cassano's doctor explained to you, sir" replied one of them. Adam and bi Ita enter Cleo's place.

"How, Doc?" Andreas stared fixedly at the middle-aged man whose current condition was also concerning.

"Your daughter is fine. There's nothing to worry about." he replied. Adam could breathe. "But it's best for tonight that he's treated here so we can observe" Andreas said.

"All right." Adam could only follow Andrew. Adam who was still weak, staggered straight back. Andreas who saw that immediately restrained his body and helped him sit on the chair that was behind him.

"Well, you should rest too" he suggested.

"Doctor is right, sir, let me take care of the lady here." said bi Ita.

"All right." she replied weakly.

"Sus, please take this master to his room." Andreas gave orders to one of the nurses there. The nurse immediately took a wheelchair and helped Adam to move there.

"D-where's my A-I?" Cleo who was just consciously looked around her.

"Doc, the patient is conscious" reported the nurse in charge of monitoring Cleo. Andreas rushed there, but suddenly he stopped his steps.

"You put where my face is if the incident at the restaurant yesterday happened again." Andreas took the mask that was on the trolley, and put it up.

"What do you feel?" andreas asked as soon as he saw Cleo holding her head.

"My head hurts, Doc" he replied.

"Of course, your head is bleeding." Andreas did further checks.

"Where's my lady doing, Doc?" tanya bi Ita who was already standing by Cleo's side.

"Thank God, there's nothing to worry about" he replied.

"Just take off the oxygen." The nurse who got the order immediately carried out her duties.

"Bi, where's dad?" Cleo held the hand of bi Ita.

"T-lord ... T-master's still out of town, Non." Andreas turned to bi Ita, he stared intently at the middle-aged woman.

"Dad was always like that. Do you know my condition?" ask again.

"Already, Non. Once his work is done, you will be home soon." bi Ita had to go back to lying.

"The patient can already be moved to the room." after saying that, Andreas bailed on bi Ita.

"What are they doing? Why are they lying to him?" Andreas again checked the patient records.

"Who are they lying to?" Yuda snatched from behind.

"Don't like to interfere, if you want to live long" he replied.

"What am I doing? I'm just asking who lied to who?" ask again.

"Already, shut up! And continue this." Andreas gave the note to him.

"Cass, what am I supposed to do with this?" he shouted at Andreas who had walked towards the exit.

"Do as you always do." she replied as she passed.

"I can die young if I have a friend like him." Yuda grumbled. The nurse in front of him began to giggle.

"Hi, Pretty! What if we walk tomorrow?" his friendly nature in the women began to come out.

"Non, what's really going on? How did she fall down the stairs?" bi Ita started to question him once they were already in the nursery.

"Who brought me here, Bi?" ask Cleo.

"The school that drove the lady to the hospital. What's the matter, actually?" ask bi Ita.

"Nayla's? Where's Nayla?" tanyakanya.

"Auntie doesn't know, Non. As long as the aunt's in the hospital, the aunt hasn't met her." Cleo no longer asked anything.

"Did Nayla bring me here?" Cleo was still wondering why Nayla would do that to her.

"Morning, Cle!" Kiano and Sandra came to visit him.

"Hi!" answer Cleo.

"How are you doing?" ask Kian.

"I'm good." she replied.

"Is your head okay?" ask Sandra.

"Yes, it's much better" he said.

"Thank God! I freaked out when I saw blood flowing from your head." Sandra looked scared.

"You?" Cleo looked surprised.

"Yes, Cle, Sandra found you lying on the stairs. They immediately sought help and Mr. Kemal immediately called an ambulance. Thankfully you are okay. We're all worried." Tell me what happened to Cleo.

"Then, Nayla? Where's she?" ask Cleo.

"Nayla?" Kiano and Sandra looked at each other.

"Yes, isn't Nayla there?" Cleo looked for the trust of her two friends.

"Nobody's there. We just saw you alone lying on the floor" Sandra said.

"really?" Cleo seemed to be unable to believe what she heard. Nayla left him lying there alone.
