Allah Ta’ala says,

وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ مَوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

It means: “And among the signs of His dominion is that He created for you wives of your own kind, that you may tend and be at peace to him, and made Him among you of love and affection. Verily in that are signs for the people who think.”

(QS. Al-Rum: 21)
