CAMELLIAS

CAMELLIAS
section 3

KARA KAISARA'S

Mr. Grace is always on standby, in front of the school gate once school hours are over. I chose to go straight home, ignoring the nagging Nadira who forced me to go book shopping at her subscription store.

"Kara, really don't want to come with me?" Nadira was still following me to the gate.

"It can be, next time . Okay?"

Nadira seemed upset, he puffed his cheeks. Screaming annoyed while stomping his feet.

"Other time is when? Every time I'm asked next time."

"Promise, next time I'll come." I Pinch his puffed cheeks. Nadira's body is more contained than me, pinching her puffed cheeks became my favorite. Especially if he's sulking, exactly a kid.

Slowly the car drove me out of the school gate. It's still day, usually children my age will not go home immediately. They must go to a favorite place or just a walk in the mall, shopping.

I actually want to be like them, but I'd rather learn than waste time like that. In my life, the only thing I want to do is make Mom and Dad proud. I want to do well without using the power you have.

The car stopped as soon as it reached the courtyard of the house, I saw Alfaro sitting leaning on the front seat. His eyes were still watching the phone screen in his hand, until he did not notice my arrival. I stood right before him, as soon as he realized my arrival his head was puffing up

" Have you gone home?"

"Yes"

Stepping inside the house followed Alfaro from behind. Alfaro immediately sat in the chair that Dad deliberately provided for learning purposes. After changing clothes I went straight down to the first floor where Alfaro was, because the room I was in was on the second floor. With my male tutor, Dad moved the study, which was originally on the second floor near the room, now on the first floor next to the family room.

As usual Faro did not say much, he just took out some papers about what I had to fill out. Every now and then I glanced at his face, he was handsome. I never called her big sister, and I don't think her age is much different from mine. And also Faro doesn't mind me calling his name without calling him brother.

This time there was something strange about Faro's attitude, he looked uneasy. Many times he opened the phone, like he was replying to a message, and repeatedly he glanced at the black watch that was coiled around his wrist. He's not usually like that.

"It's over?" Ask as soon as I hand over the answer paper.

"Is there anything less understood?" Ask again.

"No, you can go straight home,"

"We still have fifteen minutes. If there's something you don't understand, I can explain."

"I wanted to ask, but the answer must have been more than fifteen minutes. You're in a hurry, so next time." Faro seemed to be frowning, watching me who began to tidy up the writing utensils into the bag.

"It looks like you're in a hurry, so today it's enough to get here." My next.

There might have been something important Faro had to do, so I chose to end the hours of guidance sooner.

The look on his face was confused and hesitant, maybe he felt bad because I could read his expression from earlier.

Faro was always disciplined in guiding me, he came on time and would finish on time as well. Even Faro came more often first, waiting for my return from school. Never once have I waited for him to come.

"Udah, ga nothing . Tomorrow there's still time."

"There's important business I have to attend to, so I'm sorry. If you don't understand something, you can just call me."

It was the longest sentence he had ever uttered during the nearly two-week study.

I nodded in agreement. Faro did give me his personal contact, just in case there was a need, but until now I never once contacted him, even though there were many lessons I wanted to ask.

I left Faro, who was busy tidying up some of the books he brought.

I stared at his back which was starting to drift away and was lost behind the door. From the window he was riding a large black motorcycle, wearing a helmet of the same color. Slowly he left the yard, his head nodding as soon as he passed the security post, making me suddenly smile for things I don't know why.

The atmosphere of the house again deserted, I was like living alone in a house this big. All domestic assistants are in the rear building, separate from the main building. They just occasionally go around the house, ascertain the condition of the house and also make sure whether I am at home or not.

There is no special care as people think. There was also no bodyguard who would follow me wherever I went, I was quite free to do anything as long as I had permission first. Usually if I feel very bored the housekeepers will take you around the street, down the residential area and buy snacks brother-brang who deliberately go not far from home.

When it was eight o'clock in the evening, I just finished cleaning myself up before the break. There was no sign of Father and Mother coming home, because the house still feels lonely.

I opened the phone screen. Disappointment back I feel once the message I sent to Mom still tick one black. I don't know exactly where Mom is right now, which I know she's currently in Malaysia for her new job project, and I know from Aunt Mala, Mom's personal assistant.

I can't remember when Mom started to change like now. He rarely spoke to me, even he seemed to be increasingly ignoring my existence. Mother spends more time outside the house even though she has free time, she will only stay in the room, busy with her work.

I put the phone back on the dresser. Turn off the lights and only let one small light on near the bed. Just as I was about to read a book, the phone rang again. I jumped and grabbed my phone, hoping it was Mom.

I sighed as soon as I saw the incoming call.

"Yes why, Nad."

"Lo's at home?" Nadira's voice rang out from across there.

"No, I'm in goa again."

"Karaaaaaa," Nadira's shrill voice kept my phone away from my ears. I chuckle at hearing it.

"At home again there's my birthday, Nadia. I forgot to tell you that at school."

"Basic senile!" My lips.

Scroll the clock on the nightstand, still eight o'clock at night past fifteen minutes.

"Where," I considered Nadira's invitation.

"Come on. Soon, before ten o'clock also come back. Want huh?" I was still confused, as there was no preparation. I even wore a nightgown.

"Come on Kara, this time.

I often refuse my invitation. My brother's invitation period also you refuse."

I know Nadia well enough, so lucky Nadira has a sister as good as Nadia. Sometimes I envy the interaction of the two of them, the mature nature of Nadia's brother added with the spoiled nature of Nadira, into a harmonious relationship between the brothers.

"Okay, I'll be there in an hour." I heard Nadira's voice from across the street. I don't feel good about having to turn down Nadia's invitation.

Before leaving for Nadira's house, I first asked Dad's permission. Luckily Dad and Dito, Nadira's father was good friends, so Dad immediately let me come to Nadia's birthday party.

"Karaa, you know,,"

Welcome Nadira enthusiastically as soon as I see my arrival. Nadira immediately approached me and flanked my arm and dragged me into his house.

"Finally princes Rapunzel came out of the cage too." Dittle

"What the hell," I let go of Nadira's hand.

Nadia's birthday event was celebrated behind the house near the pool, themed garden party. All shades of white, ranging from decoration, flowers and balloons. All color white.

"Kara."

Ka Nadia came over to me and Nadira. We hugged for a moment. Ka Nadia looks beautiful wearing a white knee-length dress with a small strap on the shoulder. Shows his white and smooth shoulders.

"Happy birthday ka" I said, pecking both cheeks at Nadia.

"Thank you for coming." I nodded, giving the paper bag containing the gift I deliberately prepared from home.

"I don't know if Nadia likes or likes her card."

"Wahhh thank you very much, Kara. If you enjoy the party. Brother wants to have another guest first."

Ka Nadia left, approaching some newly arrived invited guests. All of the guests seemed to be his college friends or college friends, as they looked to be the same age.

"So, you make me come just because you have no friends. Because all the guests are big guys?"

Nadira immediately choked

""Not that, my brother is lo, ko. Really." I still stared hard at Nadira. I know he must have deliberately forced me to come because he felt alone in the middle of an adult event like this, and Nadira made me a victim so that he did not look sad.

"The cake is good." Nadira switched the conversation, I did not want to continue the debate, because I was already in this event . So I better enjoy the show and go home once the show is over.

Nadira and I deliberately secluded themselves in a corner near the garden lights, a few meters away from the crowd of birthday events. I feel a little uncomfortable being among people I don't recognize at all.

Until my eyes caught such a familiar figure, he was wearing a light blue shirt and dark blue jeans. It took me a few seconds to confirm it, because she looked so different when she came home.

As soon as he smiled, I knew and was convinced that it was Alfaro, my guidance teacher. But what is he doing here? He even came with a beautiful woman.

"Would you drink some more?" I heard Nadira's offer, but my eyes were still focused on looking at the two people who were holding each other in friendly arms in front of there.

"Karaa. Oyyyyy." Now Nadira's voice is so loud in the ears. As soon as I turned his head, he deliberately shouted my name right by the ear.

"Ihhhh what the hell ! I have ear pain in your voice!" Decakku.

"I'm talking about it from earlier dicuekin mulu. Look what the hell?" Nadira's eyes traced all over the place, looking for what was the center of my attention.

"Look at that one over there." Nadira's chin pointed at the crowd of people who were busy partying.

"Who?"

"That's a girl who uses navy blue dres." Now Nadira pointed to a beautiful woman who was busy chatting with Nadia ka.

"He's a model. Her name is Dea, and it's that handsome guy next to her who wears a blue shirt, her boyfriend. His name is Alfaro." Nadira.

I was still staring at Faro, seeing how he interacted with other people differently when he interacted with me. I could see Faro in his friendly manner, always smiling as he spoke. He was so different when he was with me that he was just like a robot, stiff and rarely spoke.

"Beautiful and beautiful? Both are good friends with Nadia. They often go home." I still listened to Nadira speak, but my eyes were still staring at where Faro was.

Without me expecting Faro to turn his head, our gazes met. She was a little surprised to see my presence, I had no intention of cutting my gaze until the woman next to her pulled Faro's arm and our gaze was cut off.

Is this perhaps the business he was referring to?

Accompanying her boyfriend to a birthday party?

I know it's her right, just somehow there's a little bit of a sense of inadmissiveness in my heart.
