Butterfly Cocoon

Butterfly Cocoon
Chapter 26

For two weeks Ransi lived in Sarrah's modest house, Ara did not worry about it because Ransi had told him that he had to work outside the city for several weeks. Lying, again Ransi lied to Ara like before. Like when he lived a few months in Gavin's apartment.

Ransi instantly remembers the memories of her time with Rafan and Gavin. Kindness, sincerity, their struggle Ransi does not deserve all that, the story that was once written hoping to end happily without any regrets and tears. Ransi is no longer working at the club Neptu and now he works with Sarrah, becoming a PSK. Instead of getting a better job, get into the abyss on its own. Sarrah was indeed a bad friend, he took Ransi to a lost path. Well but what is possible for Ransi's life is already destroyed, then what else to regret.

Tok.dok..

"Who loosened the door this early, you lunatic did not meet in time" Ransi grumbled as she walked to open the door.

Cklek..

Ransi covered her mouth with both hands while looking..

"Rancy? what are you doing here?"

"Ba..how can Azalea and bang Tio be here?" tanya Ransi stammered.

"Rancy? is there a Ransi here, Tio."

"Who's up, Ran?" sarrah was surprised to see two people standing at the door.

"Bang Tio, brother Azalea? Why do you know me and-"

"It seems that I'm just a stupid human being who knows nothing" Ransi said slowly.

"Derrio!" call Tio out loud when he sees Rio tugging at the wheelchair he is sitting in.

"Derrios? Rio's? Whahuh? So Rio is the man who has been the target of Adzriel's bang ever since and I was foolish not to know that, even by innocently staying one roof with the man who made my brother's life become ruined because of a mistake he never did. Helo, if I had known Rio was Derrio, not only was his leg paralyzed, I would have broken both his arms, too, and if I had allowed him to blind his eyes like he had done to Azalea." Right now Ransi's heart and mind seemed to be burning with burning fire.

Tio, who had been overcome with emotion, immediately felt sad when he saw Derrio sitting in a wheelchair. Azalea could not see the name she could hear all the explanations of Sarrah about what had befallen her brother. Neither Azalea nor Tio thought Derrio was permanently paralyzed.

On the night after hitting Azalea, Derrio ran into the highway from the opposite direction a truck drove at full speed and hit him, he put Derrio in a coma for two years and after he realized his legs were no longer in motion.

Derrio so regretted his actions, he paid someone to find information about Azalea, how surprised the man was when he heard that the girl he had smeared had been blinded by his violent urges that night.

During this time Derrio lived with a sense of regret that continues to haunt him, he even rarely spoke and spent days looking up at the sky hoping Azalea was among the birds that scattered up there. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Derrio always said those words every day with the tightness he felt.

"You want to say something, Derrio." Azalea stood in front of Derrio by holding her staff.

Derrio's tears spilled seeing Azalea who could not see herself even though Azalea was standing in front of him.

"I'm sorry Azalea I'm guilty" Derrio hugged Azalea's wrist by shedding her tears.

"Ak.aku the culprit.I slandered Adzriel."

"Why did you do it, Derrio, why should I!" azalea screams with tears.

Tio, Sarrah and Ransi who were there could only see Derrio and Azalea shed tears at each other.

"I love you, why would you prefer Adzriel to me. I love you..Azalea.me.love you."

"Stop! You know from a long time ago I only loved Adzriel, but you still forced your love Derrio! I hate you, Derrio, I hate you." Azalea sat down right in front of Derrio.

"I'm sorry I've been living in regret even though I don't deserve to be forgiven at least I want you to know that I still love you until this moment."

"Stop saying love, I'm sick of hearing it." Azalea tried to stand up and knocked her wand away from Derrio. Before leaving he said, "You don't have to live in regret because I've forgiven you, even if whatever happens Adzriel stays true to me and his love will stick in my heart forever."

Azalea again continued her steps in Tio's aid which pointed towards moving the Azalea wand.

A few days ago Adzriel managed to get information about the whereabouts of Derrio who lives in a simple house and today Tio invites Azalea to meet Derrio because of Adzriel's man.

The third week in August, Azalea sat on an iron bench awaiting the arrival of Adzriel. Almost four hours he waited, but the man he was waiting for never came. At once Azalea was agitated, for this was the first time Adzriel had not kept her promise. Where's she? What do? Why haven't you come yet? Azalea continued to ask in her heart.

"Tio?"

"Azalea, your eyes will return."

"Whatchu mean? Why are you here?"

"That's not important, now come with me to the hospital." Tio pulled Azalea's hand and took her to a hospital not far from the city center.

In the hospital Sarrah and Ransi were waiting there, someone donated his eyes to Azalea and a miracle really came, after doing an eye donor examination that was very suitable for Azalea.

Three days later, doctors operated on both of Azalea's eyes. During a few hours in the operating room, the doctor came out with the happy news that Azalea surgery went well and 100% could see back. Although it was good news, tears still flowed down the cheeks of Ransi and Sarrah.

"Don't open my eye bandage, Doc," prevent Azalea when the doctor wants to open the bandage that covers both eyes.

"What's Azalea? It's time for your bandages to open, you don't have to be afraid that everything is going well and it's going to be okay."

"No doc, before Adzriel comes I won't open this bandage because I want Adzriel the one I first saw when this bandage was opened."

The doctor looked at Ransi and Sarrah in turn.

"Even though Adzriel is not the first time you see, but your love belongs to Adzriel. Open your bandage, Adzriel must be happy with how you are now" said Tio, who sat on the bedside.

Azalea thought that what Tio said was true, so she was forced to open the bandage. The doctor opened a bandage in Azalea's eye.

"Azalea open your eyes slowly." tell the doctor, Azalea opened her eyes slowly.

Faintly he looked at the ceiling of the room, then "Tio" a name that was spoken when Azalea again saw.

"Can you see me now?"

"Not changed, you're still as sweet as you used to be, Tio." Azalea said, Tio chuckled softly.

"Who are you?" azalea asked as she looked towards Ransi and Sarrah.

"The woman wearing the jeans was Ransi and the one next to Sarrah, Derrio's sister."

"The little sarrah that I knew before, is now grown up and Ransi, a friend who always accompanied me to sell flowers in the garden. Come here I want to hug you."

Ransi and Sarrah approached Azalea, the three hugging each other, while Tio felt ignored.

"Why are you crying? Is something going on?" Azalea was confused because Ransi and Sarrah were crying a mouthful in her arms.

"No, no" said Sarrah who immediately released a hug and passed away, Ransi who was not strong enough to hold back her tears came running out following Sarrah.

"Tio, what's really going on? You have to explain everything to me."

Although he had returned to look, Azalea did not stop shedding tears when she heard that Derrio had died by suicide. Derrio and Azalea's recent encounter frustrated the man in the wheelchair and chose to end his life by drinking poison, killing him on the spot. Sarrah was really hit with the death of her brother, now she lives with solitude and a kara without any family beside her.

Sarrah continued to cry lamenting the departure of Derrio which he had not let go until this moment, had wanted to kill himself but Ransi prevented his actions and gave strength to his friend. Ransi who did not want to see Sarrah felt alone decided to invite Sarrah to stay at his house. Initially Sarrah refused but after thinking, now his own life and only Ransi friends he had, finally Sarrah accepted Ransi's offer to settle down and live in the Venus aisle.
