Butterfly Cocoon

Butterfly Cocoon
Chapter 16

“Our relationship ends here only Ran, I don't want to continue."

The words seemed to follow every breath of Ransi. However, Ransi feels the same way as two years ago, a sense of mediocrity when with Rafan. However, Ransi feels lonely when Rafan no longer paints a love story in the days he goes through.

"Maybe I love her? Surely not, because my love is only for a man who owns a brown wooden bracelet. If only Rafan had owned the bracelet, surely this heart would have trembled violently when I was with him." Ransi continues to build up in the heart.

Ransi set foot to walk towards the park bench where she used to breathe fresh air to calm the mind. On the white long bench Ransi saw someone sitting up and looking up at the sky.

"Gavin?" call the girl wondering why Gavin could be in the park.

Ransi said his name, Gavin turned his head with a smile off. Ransi who was still confused why Gavin could sit on the park bench took a seat beside him.

"This is the first time I've seen you sitting on a park bench" said Ransi and again Gavin closed his eyes as he took a deep breath toward the body of the girl sitting not far from him.

"I love the vanilla smell of your body" Gavin replied, looking back at the sky.

"Nw."

"Your relationship with Rafan is really over?" gavin's question made Ransi stare confusedly.

"How do you know about my relationship with him."

"I saw him so fragile in the room. Rafan cried, his sobbing was very clearly heard."

"seen it? The chamber? Meanin?" the questions that Ransi asked made Gavin look inside.

"Me and Rafan are cousins."

“Do I am a stupid human being who just knew something this important. Both Rafan and Gavin look mediocre while at school really do not describe that they are cousins. That Rafan who never hid anything from me now chooses to keep quiet about who Gavin really is." Inner Ransi without turning to look at Gavin.

"Ran, do you love Rafan? "

I was confused as to what to answer. However, between me and Rafan now only have the status of an ex-lover, so there is no harm if I am honest with Gavin about what I feel. Besides Rafan isn't here, he can't hear what I'm saying about this honesty of heart. Ransi doesn't know how to explain what she's feeling right now about how she feels about Rafan.

"You love her?"

"No," Ransi replied with a lowered gaze.

"What kind of answer is that? Otherwise, what do you feel during your relationship with Rafan."

"I love the man who owns the brown wooden bracelet. I never loved Rafan. However, I tried to solidify this heart so that one day I could love her. However, this feeling still could not lie, i-" Ransi's words suddenly stopped when she saw a man standing next to her wearing a dark brown jacket.

"Prophets."

How could the presence of Rafan he did not feel. How Ransi explained all this to him. The look on Rafan's face was filled with anger and disappointment as he stared at Ransi's bead.

"Raf, listen to my explanation."

"What's two years of Ran mean if you don't love me."

"When have you been here, Raf?" gavin asked surprised by Rafan's whereabouts.

Rafan did not answer his cousin's question, he continued to look at Ransi with a sad look.

"RANSIS!" Rafan called Ransi's name with a snapping tone.

"I'm sorry Raf everything you heard is true that I never loved you."

Rafan breathed a rough breath with eyes that had reddened.

"I've always been there for you, Ran, I love you so much, I accept all the flaws in you without ever bothering about your contemptuous work! I dare to refute your words in defense of you. You have a relationship with my papa, I can still accept you as my lover. I love you for who I am."

"Raf."

"Two years of what's still not enough, Ran."

"Rafan forgive me," Ransi cried in front of her former lover, making Rafan smile blankly.

"You repay this heartfelt love of mine with pain that will continue to linger."

Ransi cries in front of Rafan and Gavin. This was not what the girl wanted, there was not the slightest intention of Ransi to harm a prince like Rafan.

"Look at me Ran," asked Rafan, Ransi stood looking into his eyes.

“Tell me if you love me. Even if you tell a lie I will still accept it Ran. Please say!" pinta Rafan pleads.

"Sorry Raf I can't say because I don't love you, as much as I can try but the result is the same Raf, I can't hurt you any further. I'm sorry."

"Despite the lies you still can't do it."

Rafan slowly regressed his steps.

"Thank you Ran for this pain I will always remember him. My decision to end our relationship was the right one and I hope I can accept this fragility without any regrets."

"Rafan," said Ransi to his name as Rafan went away.

Ransi sat down on the shady grass with tears constantly dropping. "Why can I be this cruel to Rafan. I can't put this heart back together, but if the results stay the same it will make Rafan sicker later. Well this is the road I have to face, the road without a prince like Rafan. Surely Rafan will hate me so much."

"You must be strong Ran. Your heart says honesty and tears will continue to accompany your long steps," Gavin said as he patted Ransi's shoulder gently.

For now Ransi does not want to think what Gavin's words mean that makes him not understand. "But 'The tears will continue to accompany your steps I know it's Gav, the tears will continue to plague my life even before I know you" Ransi said, staring at Gavin.

Joking, laughter, smiles, gazes, her spoiled and innocent nature, I miss all that Raf. All about you and the memories of our time together. Even if you have to lie, these lips can't talk when you tell me to say I love you

Ransi's love is a man who owns a brown wooden bracelet and until whenever the girl will still wait for the man to pick her up like how he promised.

Ransi walked under the bright moon of the night wearing a mini dress, the gaze of the humans who passed by made her very uncomfortable. But, now he must get used to it all, because there is no longer the figure of Rafan who delivers a pick-up and willingly gives the jacket he wears to cover Ransi's body like the nights that have passed.

"Dear you teased me so much tonight. Let me take you to Neptu's club."

"Suckers! The voice of the man I hate so much why can it be heard in my sense of hearing." Ransi grumbled slowly.

"Come on, baby."

"I swear to God I hate Barons so much. The man managed to stop my steps and make me turn towards his car."

Ransi does not care about Baron's words and prefers to continue his steps to the club Neptu. However, for the second time the girl's steps came to a halt as Baron's car stopped blocking his way.

"Bad! What this old man wants. Oh the fairy from heaven pick me up right now to be free from the crazy boss like Baron," Ransi's inner being started to get upset.

"Darling don't keep avoiding. I love you so much, if you want to marry me all the needs and needs of your family I will bear."

"Stop Baron. I want to work!" ransi said with a snapping tone.

"If later I become your husband you don't have to work baby, just serve me and your job is to give a shake every night in bed. How's it?" Baron said as he gently touched Ransi's chin.

"Basar old man bangka not sane!" lontar Ransi loudly, then he ran to the highway with a continuous swearing in his heart.

"Furqon, if you had a brother like Ransi would you hate him?" asked Ara who was sitting on the porch bench.

"If Ransi's brother is my brother, I would be very grateful because Allah Azza Wajalla gave me an angelic brother like Ransi's brother" Furqon replied as he stood staring at the sky on the porch of his house.

"How could you think like that?"

"Kak Ransi is an extraordinary woman and is very responsible for her family. Maybe if I was in his position I wouldn't be as strong and as firm as him in living the trials of life."

Ara was silent.

"Fulfilling the needs of the family, paying you for school, he doesn't tirelessly do that even though I know his heart wants to scream loud that he's not as loud as he looks."

"You know Furqon, I love Ransi but I hate her too" said Ara Pilu.

"What's your reason for hating Ransi? Is it because of his job?"

"Nw."

"If that's the reason why you're still in school? Don't you hate Ransi's brother, the brother who risked his pride to see his sister succeed in the future."

Furqon's words were like a terrible slap in Ara's mind. The girl shed tears, she should not hate her own brother just for working in a nightclub and always listening to the whispers of neighbors around who are very insignificant.

"Thank you Furqon, your words made me realize that I should have supported Ransi's sister instead of hating her."

Furqon smiled towards Ara who was still downcast.

"Although his work is abject. But Ransi's brother who gave me the color of life, without her maybe I can't stand the treatment of Adzriel's father and bang who are always rude." Continue Ara.

"Ara after we graduate, I'll propose to you immediately."

Spontaneous Ara looked puzzledly towards Furqon. The girl thought what Furqon said just now was a hallucination that really made her not know what to say. Not long ago discussed Ransi, why Furqon could say that. Well his name is also a young man difficult to understand his labile period.

"What the hell is that? It's not clear."

"Hehehe," chortled Furqon slowly.

"Aren't you going to marry me, Ra?"

"Well, you want to, even." Ara's reflexes covered her mouth with palms.

"Ciye will," Furqon's tease made Ara blush in shame.

"What the hell is Furqon."

"Let's late in there. I'll watch you from the house until Ransi's brother comes home" Furqon told him.

"What I'm afraid of, you better get some sleep tomorrow and go to school."

Every night Furqon did just that, keeping Ara from behind the walls of her house. At school Furqon was constantly yawning from being very sleepy from watching Ara until the chicken crowed loudly. Furqon did all that to protect Ara from the cruelty of Mr. Karisna and Adzriel who could have beaten Ara if she came home late at night. If that happens Furqon will be a hero to the girl he loves.

"Udah get in there. Let's hunt."

"Yes-yes," Ara said as she stepped inside.

"Descape my angel, I will take care of you from a distance" Furqon inwardly gazed at Ara's tightly locked door.
