Chapter 65: Death

Using Adi as a diversion, Rinko had jumped into the air, his entire body letting out a chill that merged with the scorching sun producing smoke into the air.

He turned his sword and just a second split his sword stuck well into the head of the Emperor's protective figure. Slowly the protector froze and shattered making Adi can lunged forward.

The Emperor tried to protect himself by activating magic that made his body become steel, unfortunately Adi's movements faster and needless to say the Emperor's heart was pierced by his sword until drops of blood dripped down the ground.

"It's over."

Just as Adi drew his sword, the emperor's body had collapsed forward with a face first.

Adi reached out to help Rinko stand up but he felt something strange on his body, where his heart was now pulled forward with a hand holding it.

Mesna who saw from inside the system was shocked to lose words, as well as Rinko who had the same expression.

"How come, I'm sure I stabbed you in the heart?"

"It's a pity but I'm immortal."

Adi's heart was destroyed just like that when his body fell to the ground.

"How dare you?!" rinko shouted about to move but both of his hands had flown into the air, with just a swing of the Emperor's hand it happened quickly.

"It's a shame the real cheat I took was this."

Rinko watched the Emperor's hand carefully and he soon realized something important.

"Your sword has no form."

"Frightly so."

Rinko's head was cut off into the air and thrown several meters away, before it fell to the ground, the world stopped again, cracked and broke. As if similar to the scenes from the film, each incident is replayed back just as Rinko stabs the Emperor's protector while Adi stabs the heart of his enemy as before.

"It's over."

"Adi quickly retreat!" at Rinko's shout, he spontaneously leapt back as the Emperor's body moved again.

"I wanted to kill you secretly, it was unexpected that you even knew about Rinko" the Emperor said.

Adi glanced at Rinko who was disappointedly nodding his head, he realized that this was the second time he had died, instead of using Izanami, Rinko prefers Izanagi which is easier to hide so that his enemies do not know about it.

Now if Adi dies then there is no chance, on the other hand Rinko has lost mana until he needs time to recover.

"Rinko's back I'll take over this fight."

Mesna obviously did not agree, time did turn but not for Mesna, he still remembered how Adi was killed so cruelly.

"Forget this Adi, this opponent is very strong, he is immortal."

Adi felt that if he retreated then there would be no more chance to attack again to this extent. He thought for a moment to decide on the next step.

"There's no such man, I just have to know the trick he used."

"Adi?"

"Maybe he can only live a few more times, I have to give it a try."

Mesna shows a face of worry, if Adi dies he will return to the realm of the goddess and if it happens, then he will work again.

Adi gripped his sword before he enveloped it with lightning magic fired towards the Emperor, with a sleepy face he just brushed it aside.

"Are you seriously using such weak magic, only now have I met a hero who cannot use real magic, all I want is to see what kind of face is behind your mask."
