Chapter 109: The Next Exercise

A week before the snow melted, Adi had taken an early workout with Casandra indoors. Casandra himself felt that Adi's development was not normal. He was able to get through everything he was given and now his body was stronger than before.

It was good but also pretty awful.

"I think it's time to move on to the next exercise."

Adi who heard this faintly, got up from where he lay.

Casandra herself raised a scythe in her hand before scraping it in midair, the scratch started to form something like a portal.

"What's that?"

"This is a training room that is not tied to the time of this world, I rarely train anyone inside here but I think for you an exception."

Adi peeked in from the outside and saw that the room was just a white empty room with nothing as if to remind him of the first time he was reincarnated.

Casandra lets him in first and Adi accepts, at first it's mediocre but something heavy pulls him down. Yep, it was a very strong gravitational force until Adi himself had difficulty moving one finger only, on the other hand Casandra walked as if unaffected.

Her gothic dress swung along with her black hair which showed her pointy ears which were Elves.

"If you can move in this room then your body will be much faster out there."

"Am I able to train my eyes to ward off Demon Eye?"

"Depends on you."

Casandra sits on Adi's back and it adds her weight to the fold.

Adi could hear her body producing a strange sound as it resisted the pressure.

"If this is how my body can crumble," he said withstanding the pain.

"Let me say Adi, actually Mystis's eyes are not like the technique everyone thinks they are. Mystis's eyes were just another name of Demon Eye used other than the demons, in other words from the beginning no eye could really deny it."

Adi was surprised by the unexpected statement.

"Nothing, if the other books are likely to exist."

"Why are you so sure?"

"Since I know all the things about Karina Erkana even the other Sages, you could say I was the one who taught them magic."

Adi smiled wryly, it was obviously impossible. Casandra was the one who created the seven Sages?

As if reading the look on Adi's face, Casandra added.

"You don't believe me, the reason why I'm looking for a way to defeat the demons is because of them, after various researches I finally learned that one way to ward off Demon Eye was to use the same Demon Eye eyes. Mystis's eyes are just another name for them."

Adi tried to get up but at the same time he was pulled back by heavy pressure.

"If Mystis's eyes were just a disguise, then how could someone who wasn't a demon use such eyes?"

Casandra stood up and squatted down before Adi's face, her eyes had turned black with golden pupils.

It was previously named as Mystis eye but after knowing the truth it was Demon Eye.

"Well guess?"

"You killed one of the primordial demons then took his eyes?"

"Some of it is true but this is my eyes from birth, rather than taking his eyes whole I took more of his abilities and moved them into my eyes, unfortunately the abilities of the devil's eyes can only be handled with the devil's eyes as well."

Casandra popped out a tube in her hand that contained a pair of floating demonic eyes.

"I killed two primordials with my hands, a pair of eyes I used for myself and another pair I'll give you if your training can work."

Casandra smiled like a demon.
