Chapter 09: The Battle In The Underground City Part One

Hibiki twisted the kunai in her hand before lunging forward, she slightly bent her body to speed up every move of hers. Slashing from the bottom up then turning and moving to the side and right. Each clash with Ardhi's sword created friction along with the ear-shaking sound.

The difficult thing when fighting Hibiki is that he really must be able to keep his distance, Hibiki continues to urge him to fight until his enemy is difficult to slash.

Ardhi pulled the sword back making him use two swords. When he did so Hibiki had multiplied his body with a shadowy stance.

Some were defeated to turn into shadows unfortunately the original was able to sneak and pin Ardhi's head with his thighs.

When he was about to stab his weapon another Ardhi sword had flown and deflected it until the kunai was released while Hibiki's figure retreated as fast as he could.

"Move the sword, what kind of magic is that?"

His question was not answered with words but rather by a four-sword attack that kept on aiming at him at such high speed that he pulled out a new kunai.

Dentrang.

When a gap opens Ardhi has appeared in front of him ready to slash from below in a horizontal position. The attack slashing down on his stomach made blood gush from his mouth as he was thrown into the air.

"Guakhs."

When he woke up the tip of the sword Ardhi had surrounded him from all directions.

"Stop me if you want."

"I'll let you go as long as you want to tell me about what you did yesterday?"

"I."

A member of the Darkness Skull was about to cast a magic spell on him but Ardhi's sword first stuck in his head until it fell.

"It seems they intend to silence you."

"They asked me to create a magic-circle to blow up this city, I'll tell you every point."

Jamb.

Unexpectedly a two-handed sword had pierced through Hibiki from behind, it had a strange shape like a snake tongue and was bright red in color.

The one who did it was the man in glasses.

"W-what's that?"

"You are no longer needed."

"Vares?"

"When we're serious, we're the winners."

Vares without wasting any time directly attacked Ardhi after making the four swords hovering in the air reflect in all directions, he swung his sword from above so Ardhi had to endure it with two crossed swords before his body was kicked out of the alley and hit people in the streets.

Looking at the figure of Vares, everyone instinctively escaped and then an explosion occurred everywhere in unison.

It created smoke into the air with a burning fire in each of its buildings. It was too late to prevent it.

"This city will be destroyed and we will also get Purin."

"You must be one of those big fans, right?"

"Fans, more than that, I like someone who can make me money."

When Ardhi held back the slash his body was thrown back, the strength of his enemy was too great even so he also did not want to retreat just like that and counterattacked until the two of them were restrained from each other at a distance to feel each other's breath.

Nisa then appears.

"Ardhi?"

"What's wrong, I'm going to deal with this... How are the others?"

"They've gathered to protect the Purines."

"Then you can get the woman in the alley and let Latifa heal her."

"I'll explain later, hurry up."

"Good."

Nisa holds Hibiki and then disappears by running.

Either Vares or Ardhi both jump to keep their distance.

"It's ridiculous, you're trying to save the enemy."

Ardhi had no particular reason, only that he felt that he could not let her die just like that.
