While yawning Risa sat on Ardhi's shoulder and looked ahead with the rest of the town and found a group of turtles moving forward towards them.
Although called giants they are not bigger like giants, they are only 5 meters tall with their backs conical like thorns. It could probably be called a layer defense other than its shell.
One of the townspeople showed his concern and the other followed.
"Will our cities be destroyed, their numbers too many."
"If the adventurer we hired ran away then we also couldn't possibly do anything."
"Damn it, we should have asked for another adventurer."
"You calm down first, Mr. Ardhi can definitely do something," who cut them off was the store manager.
He just gave me more responsibility, Ardhi said in his heart.
"Well, Risa, can you handle it?"
"It was easy for me to desu."
Ardhi explained that it was not he who would handle it but the little girl on his back, of course it was just his appearance because he was older than anyone here.
Ardhi furrowed his brows.
"Can you not stand on my shoulder."
"For a long time I've wanted to feel like a tall man, so this is how it feels."
"You didn't listen to me, Dad."
Risa stretched out her hands and then used a slap with the language of the elves to bring out a giant magic circle just below the feet of the turtles. The circle is bright red and the shell is very broad, before long a giant pillar made of fire gushed into the sky for a while before disappearing rapidly leaving the giant crater while the turtles vanished without a trace.
No one spoke or reacted, everyone only showed their shock at the beautiful and terrifying scene.
Ardhi protested.
"You're saying that your magic isn't too powerful from ice magic?"
"It's true, for me who was just so weak."
For the first time Ardhi doubted Risa's judgment of himself. Most importantly the city was fine and everyone was asked to return home after saying a lot of thanks to Risa.
Another group of Ardhi appeared after the explosion.
"We rushed here until I forgot to put on a bra."
"Me too" added Purin.
Mery checked his nightgown.
"I don't think I forgot."
"You're sleeping naked desu."
Ardhi chose to ignore it and explained what happened. Nisa gave a quick response.
"So so nyan."
"Better we go back and sleep again, tomorrow morning will be a tiring journey."
"Agreed."
And the next morning their train resumed its journey with more food and drinks as well. The area they passed next was a wilderness that most everyone avoided. Some guards have stopped Ardhi's group.
"Why can't we go through?" ask Latifa.
"Front there lately many monsters, previously some adventurers have been sent there but until now they have not returned."
"Not back?"
"It was a wilderness, for these merchants access the only way to visit the city of Sandria, so they jointly sent adventurers to open the way."
Sandria is a prosperous city in the middle of the desert, they isolate themselves from the outside world but the merchants often sell their merchandise there, they are, because it has a bigger profit then the traders do not complain because it goes through a difficult road.
"We're also adventurers, so let us pass."
"You're sure."
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"Then it doesn't matter but when you meet the adventurers earlier ask them to come back as soon as possible."
"We understand."
