Chapter 04: Departure

Every piece of luggage had been put into the carriage, and with a shout of Purin's spirit, Ardhi who served as the coachman pulled the horse restraint rope and the carriage began to move forward.

The aim of the Ardhi group was a place called the underground city of Arfadius, its own quest only escorting the Purines safely home.

He had previously been a victim of kidnapping and it was clear such an incident could have been repeated if they had not really protected him.

In order to ease the security, Latifa and Mery sat in the back while Nisa and Ardhi were in the front.

They will alternate with each other after half the journey.

It's still early so there won't be anyone to ambush them. They passed through the meadow when the Purin complained of being bored.

"Are you always traveling like this, at least one of you is good at making jokes."

"What do you say we're adventurers not clown nyan, Ardhi quickly give your best joke?"

That word sounds ambiguous.

"Where could I possibly do that, Latifa?"

"I'm just good at making adult stories, want to hear."

"I want to hear it" Mery cut.

"Enough there, I don't want to hear something like that, I'm an innocent girl who hasn't been tarnished."

Ardhi thought if he could be like Roy maybe a trip like this would be a little different, being the only man in this group to have his own burden.

They took a break near the lake and then resumed their journey. During that time everything went well until nightfall and they made a makeshift place in the forest to rest.

Ardhi leaned against the tree with six swords beside him, he turned to check on the state of the girls who had fallen asleep before then waking up to train himself in swordsmanship.

He swung his weapon repeatedly until he did not realize that Nisa was looking at him closely with a sleepy face.

"You're too diligent."

"I pee in the bushes."

That is not the word of a girl, Ardhi thought.

Nisa chose to sit while watching Ardhi for longer.

"Did Ardhi always practice like this alone?"

"Just lately, we don't know when the demon lord is back, and by the time it comes I'm strong enough to fight it."

"Once we have defeated one sect from the four sects Ardhi should be able to relax a little."

"Maybe you're right" Ardhi replied bitterly, as he turned his head again Nisa was already sleeping curled up, at a glance she was really like a cat in terms of everything.

Not wanting to make him sleep apart, Ardhi held him in his hand and dropped him slowly between Latifa, Mery and Purin. When he was lying down they hugged each other.

This was the first time Ardhi had seen the girls sleeping in the forest without any worries, in short they were too relaxed.

After a short nap he began to prepare breakfast, he was the one who slept the last and woke up the morning even so for Ardhi this kind of thing did not bother him too much, the average human body takes 4 hours, it is the standard time for a person to sleep.

He put some ingredients to make a simple soup containing potatoes, meat and also some other complementary ingredients

When the girls wake up they will immediately take the place to enjoy the food.

"For Ardhi."

"For all of you, take it."

"Hm.. We are always spoiled by Ardhi nyan, please pamper us in the future."

They are just too comfortable because almost everything is done Ardhi himself.
