Chapter 36: A Place For Him

Before the eel came out of the water, everyone preferred to finish it off in the frozen lake. As expected the eel could move outside the water signifying that all this time he was just playing around with the humans here.

Ardhi drew the two swords in his hand and ran parallel to Anastasia's movements.

Behind her Nisa, Mery follows and behind her again Latifa as a support. He first tidied up the protectors for himself next the physical reinforcement for the people on the front line.

"This just delighted nyan. Mery we do that."

"Good."

Ardhi thought of doing what he meant and the answer came as a surprise. Nisa jumped into the air and made Mery's shield as a foothold before she was thrust into the air.

"This is a movement we created nyan, how is Ardhi?"

"You guys are great."

Ardhi slashed the sword on the left side and Anastasia on the right, for Nisa he was aiming for the head.

Mery did not want to be a protector only, he also took a short sword from behind his body to stab the eel from the front, unfortunately from the series of attacks no one managed to hit it, his body was too slippery and also too chewy.

With one flutter the three of them were thrown away.

Nisa reached out her hand to send the fireball, while Anastasia sent out her next slash.

It did not inflict too much damage and only made the eel even more furious until it shot a ball of water from its mouth.

Mery stands behind Ardhi to protect him from the attack with his shield, while Anastasia and Nisa prefer to avoid him through the nimble movements of both.

Several attacks flew towards Latifa who managed to be held back through her protector. The sound of Risa's screams was heard.

"I don't mind using my magic, let me fight too."

"No, we can handle it."

At Ardhi's statement, Anastasia nodded her head in agreement.

"Mery use your knife throw again but now do it to Anastasia."

"Understand."

Nisa and Ardhi moved forward with the slashes they made, so far Ardhi did not have to use all six swords simultaneously.

They gave a scratch before retreating as the eel was about to flick them with its tail, Anastasia who had already landed her feet seemed to be shaking her sword on her palm making her sword glow with the color of blood.

"The sword drank the owner's blood."

"Maybe it's not an ordinary sword."

"Throw me."

"Good."

Mery pushes Anastasia's body like a rocket until she glides through the air, the eel shoots back its attack but is well penetrated, before Anastasia breaks through her head like a bullet.

He landed on the ice floor to coincide as the giant eel fell to the side. With Latifa's magic everyone was healed including the wound on Anastasia's hand.

"It looks like they did it without asking for my help desu, I think I'll be expelled now as a troublemaker."

"I don't think Ardhi would think so" Purin said beside him.

"Do you think so? I am a disaster bearer and will continue to engage innocents, even as my race treats me by sealing me there, I don't mind."

"Then what's good for you?" reply Purin with a sympathetic smile.

Although his family forbade him from becoming an Idol, Purin still chose his life. In certain cases Purin slightly understood what Risa felt.

"Well, you'll understand when you talk to Ardhi."

After the lake is restored, the Ardhi group is conducting a closed meeting. Ardhi raised his hand before being cut off by Risa.

"What are you doing?"

"So who chose Risa to remain in our group, raise your hand."

And everyone raised their hands.

"After entering our group, I will not let you just walk out and we will not let you out" Latifa said.

"I'm also nyan, before we had trouble because we didn't have a mage, we obviously wouldn't get you out and nobody was dumped."

"I also agree," added Mery with a firm nod.

"But if I'm with you, maybe strong monsters will come?"

Now Ardhi answered him.

"If a strong monster appears, we just have to defeat it by getting stronger as well, just so you know Nisa and Mery are always challenged against strong monsters."

"I'm so embarrassed."

"Well, you shouldn't be ashamed of that."

"I'm not like you who's not shy about even saying dirty things like seks and stuff."

"Huh? You want to fight."

"Come here."

They both pushed each other with their hands.

"They've always been like that so just ignore it, of course I'm the most mature here," Mery instead praised himself proudly.

"But if so may the city as well..."

"On that matter, the city of Georginia has been protected by some kind of protector, monsters won't be able to easily enter."

Ardhi was silent for a moment then extended his hand.

"So do you still want to be with us? Of course we need you so much."

Tears dripped from Risa's smiling face like a normal little girl. He grabbed Ardhi's hand with both of his tiny hands.

"Of course I'd like to rush, thank you very much."

For him it was the first time anyone had said he was needed, now he felt that he had found his place in this world.

"Then Latifa, Purin and also Mery please help everyone who is injured, let me, Anastasia and Nisa who are trying to find food."

"Understand."

Now all that was left to do was see if there was anything they could find under the lake.

"By the way, don't we just eat the eel? Maybe it feels good."

"He ate a human before, I didn't feel like eating it."

Anastasia also nodded in agreement.
