"Then, please return safely."
"Yes "
"Nyan's drug."
The four maids plus a guild master and a ghost escorted them away. Ardhi sat at the front driving the carriage with Latifa while Purin, Nisa and Mery were at the back with their luggage.
"I'm always looking forward to this journey, I can't wait to see my hometown again."
Latifa interrupted with a tired face.
"I don't want you to be disappointed but we're not just gonna come there, we're gonna show up in secret."
"Why is that?"
"It's obvious that, in this state of war, just imagine if a human were to come with their daughter, they would obviously attack us immediately."
"Totally so."
"Well I don't know, but while I can slash them and fight I don't have a problem."
"I envy how you can think so simple."
"Mery must have felt the same way as me."
Mery held up her thumb.
"You two are battle freaks."
Ardhi explained the details of their trip.
"Before going to the capital we will pay a visit to the water temple so we will take a little detour."
"I don't mind it, but as I recall the water temple is no longer operational, does Ardhi have any other purpose?" purin asked a little curiously.
"I don't know what to do yet it's just that I need to get there."
"If you say that, I think I'll know when we're there."
After leaving the city a view of the gentle meadows welcoming them, on its side was a lake that beautifully reflected the blue sheen of the sky.
"Ardhi can we pull over for a moment, it feels like I want to take a bath in the lake."
"I don't mind, what about the others?"
"We also want to take a shower there."
Urged with the glare of the girls, Ardhi steered the carriage to the edge of the lake until the girls took off their clothes to jump in, as they were wearing swimsuits that would not bother someone.
"Cold nyan."
"Feel this."
Ardhi decided to go down to give water to the horses employed to deliver them until he saw from a distance the caravan running towards him. There were five trains each carrying his family.
He intentionally stopped them.
"Why do you look so rushed?"
"We just got out of the woods there, and the monsters are chasing us."
They were all pointing towards the back but there was nothing there.
"Are you lying?"
"What did you say they were running here."
No matter how Ardhi saw it clearly there was nothing there, he even had to confirm it a few times. When they were about to leave Latifa who had been quietly listening appeared.
"Latifa."
"They were exposed to illusion magic, maybe I can treat them."
A little neat of him, their sight has been restored.
"Now look back at you" Latifa said.
"Eh, there's nothing? We're very grateful."
"That's okay, you better stay to rest. I'm sure your horses won't be able to carry you anymore."
"I think you're right."
The number of women taking baths is increasing.
The men just sat on the edges while trying to prepare the food they brought.
"We've got meat, I think it's gonna be really good when it's baked with sauces and the rest is made with soup."
"Then use our meat stock as well."
"I also have vegetables and fish."
"I understand."
"I didn't think Ardhi was very good at cooking."
"It's normal for me" he replied and continued.
"So do any of you want to explain why you ended up being exposed to illusion magic?"
"I think this has something to do with the cursed forest" said one of them.
