Episode 23 of END; The Begining of Happiness

Lena held up her shopping bag and walked over while humming cheerfully into her cafe. He greeted some of his employees who were working the morning shift at the time. The cafe has just opened, of course it is still quiet, not many have come.

“Mbak...” call Yoga suddenly when see Lena coming. He looked at his boss anxiously.

“What's up?” Lena's curious.

“The man came again Ma'am..” said the man who was still in college that early semester while pointing to one of the customers who sat back to them, “Mbak did not hide?”

Lena looked gently at the back of that person with haru. He was surprised by his instincts, because even though he only saw the man's back, he knew who he was. The man did not change the same time.

“Order is done?” instead of answering Yoga's question, Lena asked about the man's order while rushing into the counter.

“In a moment...” replied Yoga slowly.

“Make another one yes, brown..” without waiting for a Yoga answer, Lena swiftly began to put her groceries into the storage cabinet.

“Already Mbak...” Yoga put a tray containing two cups containing coffee and chocolate that is still steaming, “mau Mbak anter?” tanya Yoga was surprised. First, because the boss was intending to meet a customer who once made his boss rush to hide and run away. Second, because this cafe is designed with shelf serving so that employees do not need to deliver orders to customers.

“Yep!” Lena then pressed the bell in front of her and the receiving device at the end of the table where the man was sitting began to shake. Lena rushed over to the man before he went to take his own order.

I'm coming for you, this time…

“Kriing..” the sound of the coffee sign bells that Renov ordered rang, startling him.

“Mas, here's the order.” before Renov stood up to pick up his coffee, a store employee put a cup of coffee and chocolate on Renov's desk. He looked at the two cups in wonder, he only ordered one cup of coffee but why was there a cup of chocolate there too?

“I don't...” Renov hasn't had time to answer, his voice choked. He saw the shopkeeper wearing a familiar bracelet in his eyes, could it be? Renov reflex stood up and made the coffee and chocolate on his desk topple over. One of the cups fell to the side and made a loud noise when it touched the floor. Broke apart.

Lena looked at the glass with a look of disbelief. Renov stared at the girl in front of him more in disbelief.

The figure standing in front of Renov was very different from the one he had remembered before. That girl is no longer tiny. It was high all the way. Their eyes are now almost in line when they look. Lena's long hair had also been changed with shoulder-length hair tied to a ponytail, some of the strands fell because they were not long enough to be tied together. His skin was no longer pale white but slightly tan in the sun. And what surprised Renov the most was the aura he emitted, the girl looked so mature with a resolute and charming aura.

“Yoga... please help this cleanerin yes?” Lena turned to Yoga who was immediately responded with a nod.

“How are you, Mas?” Lena now turned and looked at the figure before her who was still astonished by the reality before her.

Suddenly Renov felt a rumble in his heart. The outburst of feeling that he had been suppressing turned furious when he saw the girl before him smiling. Although her gaze was now as sharp as an eagle, the smile of the girl was still the same as she remembered. Renov walked out of the cafe without saying anything.

“Mas Renov!” Lena is shocked and follows Renov's steps. He managed to catch the man just before he got into his car.

“AGGRAHHHH” Renov shouted and suddenly hit the roof of his car hard, making Lena surprised. He then turned and looked at Lena with a feeling of fear, his voice could not come out because so much he wanted to say.

Lena who was initially surprised to see Renov's attitude finally realized something. Without thinking, Lena hugged Renov. Follow the rumble inside the chest of the man who had been a figure that strengthened him. He wanted to embrace all those feelings.

Renov still did not budge when the person who missed him was in his arms. He could only stare at the sky while holding back his tears that suddenly wanted to come out together with all his feelings. Angry, disappointed, haru, and happy.

“You... You really are a bad person! Heartless..” said Renov.

“I know...” replied Lena also equally shrewd.

“You ask how am I doing?” Renov slowly replies to Lena's embrace, “bad..” Renov's voice crept slowly in Lena's ear, “so bad that I don't know if that's happening right now dream or reality.”

“I know...” replied Lena again, “forgive me...”

Renov was still observing Lena who was busy with her phone and started pacing around looking for paper and ballpoint pens. He then contacted someone again and explained his current situation. Renov still could not believe what he saw. A very foreign sight, but also very charismatic from the figure of Lena.

“Sorry, Mas...” Lena sighed softly and threw herself on the sofa beside Renov. He then looked at Renov who was not stopping to look at him. They had moved to the second floor which could be called Lena's house. Where he currently lives.

“You changed..” Renov said as he rubbed Lena's cheek with his fingers.

“Nothing has changed except my age and appearance.” Lena grabbed Renov's hand and kissed the man's palm. He looked at Renov with sparkling eyes but Renov just looked back at Lena with surprise, he did not expect Lena would behave like that.

“You're being aggressive!” Renov pulled his hand, he looked at Lena who was laughing. A long time ago he did not hear the laughter of the girl. His laughter was now really light and sincere.

“Because I've held him for quite a while.” Lena laughed to herself at his jokes.

“Then what about me?” Renov didn't accept, “then what do you mean show up now? This time? Is this a sign that you won't go again?” this is the question Renov has been asking ever since. He was curious but also afraid to hear the answer.

“There's no way I'm not going anymore?” Lena observed Renov's disappointed facial expression, “but I'm tired of myself.want to go with me?”.

Renov was really surprised by Lena's change in attitude on this one. As he remembered he was not a person who could easily convey his feelings and desires. The girl always hid all her feelings with a smile. The eyes of Lena who used to be always seen storing sadness now look so clear.

“You look like someone else, dear.” said Renov without him noticing.

“I'm still Renattamu Mas..” Lena grabbed Renov's hand and put it on her own cheek, “aku go home Mas, with a heart that although it may not be whole anymore but she deserves you more.”.

“How can you have such confidence? Are you sure I'll accept your return after you leave me like that?” Renov had no idea why he was asking. Clearly he still loved the girl before him, perhaps even beyond his feelings. He did not even dare to hear Lena answer otherwise. He was afraid that the girl would leave his life.

“Not that I was overconfident, it was Mas who decided to accept me or not”, Lena tightened her body to Renov and wrapped her hands around Renov's neck, “I just need to convince you Renov was once again glued as Lena softly kissed his lips.

“You..” Renov pushed Lena's face with his hand. He gave a suspicious look towards Lena. Can traveling abroad make someone so change like this?

“Nope, I only did it because it was you. And always you. Nobody else...” said Lena answered Renov's suspicions.

“I used to be just a teenager, but now I'm Renatta's boy, aren't you afraid of me?” Renov looked into the girl's eyes with his eagle eyes. They both have a charming eye line.

“I know you love me.

“Yeah, and I only need you, lets get married soon.

“Hemm..” Lena nodded and she received Renov's warm kiss. Their longing for the hidden was long enough, no one wanted to wait anymore. They both have found a way for their future. The path to happiness, complements each other. The path is more harmonious and the path is strong because they build it from the most bitter pieces in his life. The happiness that lies before them is the fruit of understanding the meaning of loss with full acceptance.
