CHAPTER 88. REELING
As fast as he could, Rama drove the car towards the hospital where Lian was being treated. He did not tell anyone where he was going, including Samir. Although Samir was suspicious, the man could not do much. Especially after Rama left the office, he was the second person there. Yes, after Rama left, it was Samir who was responsible for taking care of the company. Just keep it, because in reality it is still the absolute right to take all decisions in the hands of Rama.
The streets of that time seemed very crowded. The car driven by Rama was forced to stop several times because it was stuck in traffic. Sometimes Rama hit the wheel of the car, he felt annoyed. Given how Lian was, there was inexplicably pain in her heart. Especially when the sister said that the woman had pulled the infusion needle attached to her hand so that a lot of blood flowed there. I think Rama really wants to get there.
After a long journey, Rama's car finally reached the hospital. After parking his car, he immediately ran towards Lian's nursery.
Rama opened the door of the room and saw several sisters and a doctor who was there. The room looked messy with blood on the floor that Rama believed was the blood of his wife's twin brother.
"Where's Kian?" rama asked the nurse who contacted him.
"He's hiding under the bed, sir. We can't get him out. She kept on going berserk and always stuck a knife in her hand if someone came near her" she said.
"knife? Where'd he get the knife?" ask Rama.
"That's sorry sir, there was one of the sisters who came with a fruit and a small knife to peel," said the nurse back. His gaze lowered in fear of Rama's reaction.
Rama was really upset. How could a big hospital like this make such a trivial mistake.
"Sorry Mr Rama, can you persuade a patient to get out from under that bed? We have to put the infusion needle back in and give it a sedative" the doctor said.
Rama nodded then began to slowly walk closer to the patient's bed.
"Kian?" call Rama lirih.
The woman did not answer. He just looked in the direction the man was. Again and again the man saw the woman's very messy condition. There was a deep fear emanating from his eyes. Both of his hands clasped a knife that he kept in front of his chest.
"Kian, relax. It's me Rama. Do you remember?" rama said with a hand that slowly went in to touch Lian's body.
Hearing Rama's name, Lian's tears begin to appear.
"Mas Rama?" lian lirih.
"Yes this is Mas. Come here," persuaded Rama that Lian would come closer. The woman shook her head.
"Gak Mas's. If I get out of here, they'll hit me back and sell me."
"No. You won't let that happen. I promise to always protect and take care of you. I will not let anything bad happen to you. Do you believe the same?" rama was convincing.
Lian was silent for a while before she finally nodded. Slowly the woman approached Rama and they both came out of it. Immediately Lian hugged tightly onto Rama's body as both eyes looked towards the approaching nurse and doctor.
"Mas them.." said Lian stammered.
The man also helped Lian lie back on her cot. One of her hands continues to circle in Rama's abdomen, while the other is being treated by the nurse and the doctor to reattach the infusion needle. After everything was done, the doctor immediately gave a sedative and they came out of the room leaving Lian and Rama.
"Mas" said Lian. Now he is lying on the bed. Rama sat beside him.
"Yes" answered Rama.
"Can I ask you something?"
"What?"
"Can I keep looking after me here? I'm afraid they'll come back here again" said Lian.
"Kian, everything's gonna be fine. Whether I am here or not, you will be safe in this hospital. Trust me."
Lian couldn't answer anymore when the sedative started to react. The woman is also now soundly asleep.
Rama stood up from his seat. He continued to stare at Lian's sleeping face. There was something strange happening in his heart as he looked at the woman's face. Rama touched his own chest.
"What feeling is this?" mummified Rama. He took a deep breath and threw it away slowly.
Seeing Lian's condition like that, for some reason there was a pain she felt in her heart. Rama thought how it could feel when the woman in front of him was a nobody. He is not his brother, nor his brother, nor his wife. But why does it feel so painful? Rama kept thinking about it.

"The patient's condition is not stable. We had given him a sedative but the inner pressure he felt seemed so deep. His soul was deeply shaken. He was always scared when he was alone. I hope if you can, you'd better stay in the hospital tonight. I am afraid that similar events like this will happen again if the patient is aware later. Psychologically, the patient needs a friend who can always be by his side. And it seems like you're the only one he currently believes in" the doctor told Rama when the man asked how the patient was progressing.
Rama remained silent. She's confused. How could he stay in the hospital. What reasons should he bring to his wife at home. He did not want his wife to know that his twin brother was sick and hospitalized. Rama knew how his wife was. And he didn't want to take the risk of telling her this.
"Alright doctor. I will try to stay here tonight" said Rama. Then he walked out of the doctor's office and headed back to Lian's hospital room.
Arriving in the room, Rama saw Lian still soundly asleep. The man then sat on the sofa that was there. He leaned his body and his gaze stared at the ceiling of the room. His phone is still in his hand. His brain was still thinking about what he would say to his beloved wife.
