CHAPTER 53. NO MORE CARING

The morning has arrived. A message notification inside a cell phone woke Rama from his sleep. A message from Samir telling him to watch television. Rama frowned confusedly. Why did the friend tell him to watch television so early. Pula news event.

Rama looked to the side where Kian was still soundly asleep. Slowly the man grabbed the television remote and turned on the flat object hanging in front of him.

Rama was ordinary at first. All the news that was televised was nothing of interest to him. Until when he almost turned off the television, the news anchor spoke if the company Alistair Enterprise went bankrupt and eventually had to close all branches and core company. No one talks about what happened last night. The news anchor said only that the company had suffered a defeat in the business competition against Amarta's Group. "They're so big?" ask Kian slowly. His voice still sounded hoarse from crying last night.

"It has. I just woke up. Do you want to shower first? Or do we just take a shower together to hurry?" goda Rama's. Sayu Kian's eyes turned into glares when he heard the invitation from the husband. Rama chuckles.

"I was just kidding. I'm gonna take a shower first. You rest first" said the man, then got out of bed and went into the bathroom.

The eyes continued to focus on the closed bathroom door. The sound of water flow is heard from inside the bathroom. Unknowingly, the lips are pulled upwards to form a smile that is so sweet. His hand touched his stomach where he was hugged last night. Strange indeed, when a few nights ago he was very frightened if Rama touched him but today he really likes it. What is the love that has changed everything.

His smile grew wider when he remembered Rama's words last night.

'I will always protect her even if I have to give up my own life'

'Never be afraid of anything because I will always be by your side looking after you and protecting you'

All the words spoken by Rama kept ringing in Kian's ears. It keeps the woman smiling. The tears that came out last night are very much in fact today has been replaced by a sweet smile and also a blushing face. Just this time Kian felt in love and Kian very happy.

A few moments later Rama came out of the bathroom. He was confused to see his wife smiling to herself.

"Lians. Are you all right?" asked Rama who immediately awakened Kian from his daydream.

"Eh yes. I'm going to take a shower, Mas" said Kian nervously.

Just as he got off the bed, the last night's torn back clothes, falling down revealing part of the girl's back. He quickly grabbed it and closed it again.

He nodded and finally went into the bathroom to clean himself up. And it turns out to be true. When I finished the bath, a full outfit was already on the bed. With the body still wrapped in a towel, Kian came out of the bathroom. He was confused because he did not see Rama there. But it didn't bother his mind too much. He quickly picked up a change of clothes and went back into the bathroom.

Rama and Kian are having breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The man was very happy when the wife ate so voraciously. He remembered that last night they had not eaten anything at the party. When they arrived at the hotel, they went to sleep.

"Lian," call Rama. The woman looked.

"Slowly eat. Be careful when choking," said Rama again. Kian smiled clumsily while scratching his head that did not itch.

"Sorry, but I'm hungry. We didn't eat anything last night, did we?" ask Kian. Rama smiled and they continued to eat breakfast.

Rama kept staring at his wife in silence. He was grateful that his wife would keep her promise not to recall the incident last night. Rama's hand grabbed a piece of tissue and then rubbed it to the end of Kian's lips where there was a little sauce attached there. Getting such treatment that suddenly, made Kian surprised. But then he smiled.

Now Kian no longer cared about his status with the man. His selfish attitude had started to dominate so that the girl now no longer felt afraid to fall in love with Rama. He will not and will not be willing to lose Rama. 

Sometimes Kian feels if he has turned into very evil to the brother. But that thought was later refuted by other thoughts that supported his love for Rama without having to care about Lian. It was not Kian who took Rama, but Lian who gave Rama to him.

"Do you like the food?" rama asked Kian.

"Yes Mas. It's so good" Kian replied with a smile.

"Yes, let's spend it and we'll be home soon."

"Why? Does Grandpa keep calling you?"

"It's not. But there's something I need to do with Samir."

Hearing the name Samir come out of the mouth of Rama, makes Kian remember something. Ja. Samirs. What would he say to that man? Samir loved her so much and was willing to wait for her until now. But Kian loves another man. And that too is his own brother-in-law.

"Can I be greedy this time?" ask Kian in my heart.
