Promise of Joo Young

Joo Young crossed paths with Sua as she was about to enter Jia's ward.

"He was worshiping. Did you prepare that worship tool?" ask Sua.

Joo Young nodded-assured Sua-question.

"Are you going home?" ask Joo Young.

"Yes. It's already one in the morning. And tomorrow morning I have an operation schedule, so take a break."

"May you accompany the girl here?"

"Why? Do you have any other business?"

Joo Young shook her head, "I can't be alone with her in one room, moreover she has already woken up from a coma. So please accompany him, I'll sleep in the car" he said, glancing at Jia who is now in a crouch. The girl prayed in a wheelchair because she couldn't stand for too long.

"Why is that?" ask Sua.

"It's a rule in his religion like that. They cannot be in a room with a person who is not a brother, husband, father, brother, any man who has no blood relation to that woman," Joo Young turned her back to sit in the waiting chair in front of the nursery.

"Well, it could actually be, but as my mother said, it was forbidden for fear of slander among them" he continued.

Sua followed him sitting down, "what slander?" ask the girl who still does not understand what Joo Young explained.

"Well slander. Maybe it means like misunderstanding from others or it could be accusing them of being perverted, maybe? I don't really understand either" explained Joo Young.

"Ck, there are well, the rules of religion like that," said Sua who was not inexhaustible.

Joo Young leaned his body against the back of the chair, "Well, that's how Islam is. Even to sneeze or just go to the toilet there are rules in religion" he said, folding his hands in front of his chest.

"Well, Daebak. You know a lot of it," the girl looked in amazement at Joo Young.

"Ck. I've been educated with Islam since childhood, have you forgotten?"

Sua nodded while shaking her head.

"Then why don't you just follow that religion?"

"You crazy? I don't want to go crazy for being bound by the rules of religion like that."

Sua chuckled at hearing it.

"Really! I was comfortable with not having faith," the girl moved from her seat.

"All right, I'm gonna take a break. You just sleep in my room, it's warmer than the car," Sua threw the key.

"You remember my work space, don't you?" ask the girl.

Joo Young nodded her head.

"Well already. I go in first," the girl stepped back into Jia's ward.

Joo Young exhaled slowly. It sounds like she is throwing a burden inside.

He closed his eyes when he heard his mother's words back when he was in high school.

Jo, I'm not forcing you to choose Islam as your belief. But son, I had a dream that one day you would say the phrase. Although you are always educated with the teachings of Islam but I realize that you are thick with Catholicism. I just wish my dream came true. Do not let you live in this world without trust. Because know Son, we are in this world because of the creator who is God.

"Pray Jo from there, ma'am" he muttered as he stepped away towards Sua's study.

-------------

Min Hyuk clucked violently as he entered the hospital lobby. He walked to the military elevator to go up to the fifth floor where Sua's workroom was with two crackle bags in his hand. The bag contained four cans of beer and fried chicken for Joo Young. According to the man's order.

The man gets a phone call from Joo Young as he is engrossed in his dreamland.

At three o'clock in the morning, he gets a job from Joo Young who acts as a superior to buy him food because the man is hungry and can not sleep.

Luckily, the man was in his apartment just a kilometer away from the hospital.

And it was fortunate that there was a street food vendor who was open 24 hours in his apartment complex.

He is upset at Joo Young who always acts as a superior if the man needs help suddenly, even though they have been free from working hours.

The dissolution of the Border Guard Company had also been disbanded during the day, it was supposed that he was resting at home before he would finally be serving as usual in the Battalion.

But because of the orders given by Joo Young, ah, no, Captain Kim, he was forced to obey those orders.

He pressed the doorknob of Sua's room lazily. Now the man in the middle is lazing with his legs raised on Sua's desk and his body moving left and right following the direction of Sua's swivel chair.

"You've been a long time, I've been feeling no taste" Joo Young said as he moved from his seat.

He boasted his smile as he looked at Min Hyuk's increasingly irritated face. Joo Young accidentally pranks his best friend.

"Hey! you woke me up dreaming good dreams just to buy you food when under there is a 24-hour cafe owned by this hospital," he said as he put the luggage on Sua's work desk.

Then looked back at Joo Young sharply, "And stupidly I just remembered that there was a cafe in this hospital," he exhaled violently.

Joo Young laughed, "Hey! be relaxed. I just need a friend to talk to here, so I want you to come over here" the man patted Min Hyuk's back gently and passed towards the chair he was sitting in. His hand moved to open the fried chicken wrap that Min Hyuk bought.

"You don't feel like eating for years" Min Hyuk said as he watched Joo Young eat the fried chicken he bought. The man sat on the chair that was in front of Joo Young.

His hand moved opening the beer can for Joo Young and for himself.

Min Hyuk thrust the can of beer he had opened at Joo Young.

"Thank you" said Joo Young.

"I heard from Sua, the girl is already awake," Min Hyuk opened his voice as they focused for a few minutes on eating the fried chicken.

Joo Young nodded her head.

"Then, what's your plan? We have to report it, right?"

Joo Young was silent for a moment, he put down the fried chicken he just took. His hand moved to grab the tissue and wipe his lips and hands.

"I can't. The girl was already entangled with my cunning plan," he said with a flat face.

Min Hyuk frowned, "What do you mean?"

"You know, right? my father's plan was to match me to Sua?" asked Joo Young who was replied to a nod by Min Hyuk.

"I had to say she was my lover so I wouldn't be betrothed. And the worse I said that we're getting married next month" Joo Young sighed.

"Hey! You crazy?" Min Hyuk subconsciously stood up from his seat.

"You can't lie like that. Poor girl later," he sat down again.

"I know Min. But I had no other choice, only that girl could help me from this matchmaking. I can't marry Sua. I don't love her. And Sua loved her lover very much. You obviously know that."

"But why should he? There are many other women you know here, right? The girl must return to her native country."

"When I spoke to my father, I could only think of the girl. Ever since we took her to this hospital, she's always haunted my mind. So that I easily made it all up to my father," Joo Young stood up from his seat. He stood facing the large glass windows that revealed the expanse of the city of Chuncheon filled with buildings.

"I also feel guilty for my father for lying to him. He trusts me so much, "he added.

Min Hyuk stared at the broad back of his best friend.

He walked over to where Joo Young was standing and stared out the window. The sky of Chuncheon city still looks dark, even though the time has shown four o'clock fifteen minutes in the morning.

"Then, can you use that girl just to save you?"

Min Hyuk's question so pierced his heart.

"I don't have the heart Min either. But I had to do that" said Joo Young.

"Then what about the girl?"

"He forgot his memory. He doesn't remember everything about him, which is why this lie I made went so smoothly. I made it easy for him to come up with his identity and he was trying to trust me" Joo Young laughed sarcastically.

"A dick, am I?" he laughs at himself.

Min Hyuk nodded his head approving of the statement from the man. Joo Young is crazy.

"I will look after him until he remembers who he is. I promised myself that when she remembered everything, I would let her go and send her back to her home country" Joo Young turned her back and stepped into the small bed in the room. Sua's bed that she always used when she had her morning surgery schedule. It is a waste of time if the girl has to go back and forth between the apartment and the hospital.

Joo Young laid her body on the bed.

Joo Young tried to close her eyes even though she was not feeling sleepy. He covered both of his eyes with his arms.

Min Hyuk just let out his breath slowly. He walked towards the long sofa that was in front of Sua's desk and laid his body there.

"As far as you are. I as your best friend can only support your decision. Just so you promised to protect the girl until then. And promise me you'll bring him back," Min Hyuk's right hand moved through his pants pocket and pulled his phone out of it.

"Remember, there is a family who must miss him there," he continued while opening a chat application that was just yesterday he installed.

The online chat application connects everyone from different parts of the world. The app was recently launched by a company labeled Toon under the name App ToonFriend. The most users are dominated by Asian countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Korea.

And Min Hyuk just got a friend from Malaysia named K.Anin. The name of the account belonged to a girl he randomly sent out friend requests.

His fingers moved to open his chat room with the girl.

"Ck. Read only. Though I was curious about her," she opened the profile picture of the girl, "Beautiful. His smile was so sweet" he praised as he looked at the face of the girl in the photo.

"Muslim woman?" joo Young asked right next to his ear.

Min Hyuk was stunned to hear the question as he was completely focused on his phone screen.

"Hey! You wanna die?" his screeches. He held his own chest.

Joo Young, tired of lying down and never feeling sleepy, chose to sit on a single sofa right next to the long sofa where Min Hyuk lay. The man saw his best friend looking at a photo of a woman wearing a hijab while praising the smile of the woman.

Without feeling guilty, Joo Young sat on the single sofa next to her.

"You're dating a Muslim woman?" ask Joo Young.

Min Hyuk who could already neutralize his shock chose to sit cross-legged on the sofa.

"No. He's just my online friend. We've just made friends on this app" he showed me his phone screen featuring a blue icon called ToonFriend.

Joo Young only rounded her mouth when she saw that.

"But I was wondering, did all these Muslim women cover their heads?" ask Min Hyuk.

"No. Many of my cousins in Malaysia don't veil."

"Hijab? What do you mean, head cover?"

Joo Young nodded, "Yes. The real name is Hijab. Means cover. So the cloth that covers his head is called the hijab. They use the hijab because it is obligatory for all Muslims who are women."

"Hair is the crown of women. Why is their hair covered, weird."

"Because in Islam, the honor of the woman is when she awakens from the sight of men who are not brothers, husbands, uncles, elder brothers or who have no blood relation to her. Well, like that."

"Oh. I like women who wake up like that. Let alone this woman," Min Hyuk looked back at the female photo from the App.

"It looks like I'm falling for him," continued Min Hyuk who was still unwilling to release his gaze from the photo.

"Last time you dated at 25, right?" ask Joo Young.

Min Hyuk nodded his head.

"Ah, it's worth it that you're crazy. You've been single for ten years. I pray that you will soon be dating a woman in this real world," he chuckled, "Where is there a man who can instantly fall in love with a woman from the Maya world?" Joo Young laughed mockingly at his best friend.

Min Hyuk looked cynically at her and sneered at her, "Damn you. I really know," he said with confidence.

"Beautiful Malaysian woman yah Joo?"

"Not really. There's something ugly really," Joo Young laughed, "Pray, hopefully the woman's face is the same as her profile picture. Because of the many visual deceptions in this age" said Joo Young.

"You scare me."

Joo Young just chuckled, she managed to influence Min Hyuk's earnestness.

But not for long, along with the sound of the motive from his phone, Min Hyuk's anxious expression was replaced with a big smile.

"Finally it is reciprocated" he said with enthusiasm.

Joo Young squeaks and laughs at the behavior of his friend who is still like a teenager when in love.

---------------

Keyla opened the balcony door of Nayla's room with a happy smile. Fresh air in the morning, began to fill every corner of Nayla's room that Keyla occupied.

The black veiled girl took a deep breath and threw it away slowly.

Sometimes he stretches his body.

Today is his last day in Gorontalo or in Indonesia.

He will return to Japan to continue his studies.

His two beads of eyes stared at the still-purple blue sky with sparkling eyes.

"Good morning Nayla. Today I will return to Japan. Take care of me from there well," he threw his smile back.

ting's.

The sound of his cell phone made him go back into the room and then back to the balcony. He sat in the chair on the balcony smiling when he got a reply from someone who had just become friends with him through the Maya world.

From Mr. Ayuk to K.Anin

"Yes no problem. I'm sorry I called you late at night too."

Previously, the girl had sent an apology message because she did not have time to reply to a message from her online friend last night because of a chat.

His fingers began to move again typing something.

From K.Anin to Mr. Harry

"It doesn't matter to me either. Oh yeah, what did you want to ask me last night?"

Keyla sent me that message.

Soon enough, I heard the noise again. Keyla quickly read the message.

From Mr. Ayuk to K.Anin

"Ah, no. I just want to know about you. What's yourname?"

Keyla smiled and replied to her message.

From K.Anin to Mr. Harry

"My name is Keyla Anindita, just call Keyla. Your name?"

From Mr. Ayuk to K.Anin

"My name is Ahn Min Hyuk. I used to be called Min Hyuk. But since you're special, just call me Min. So that we can get along quickly."

Keyla chuckled at the message.

The type of guy who is easy to tease apparently, Keyla is dominant.

Her lentiknya fingers continue to play on the keyboard of her phone to reply to send a message from her online friend. Without him noticing, the sunlight began to rise and he dissolved into a casual conversation with the man.
