Sunlight began to barge in through the sidelines of the hospital room window curtain.
Inside the dominant brown and white room and equipped with various medical devices, there appears a woman who is still unconscious from her coma.
I don't know how much longer he'll be lying unconscious. While far away in other countries, there are loved ones who are trying sincerely to lose themselves.
Aye!
The girl is Nayla Saputri. The girl who was the victim of the plane crashed one week ago. He was found by two South Korean soldiers who were on duty not far from the crash site after the evacuation was closed. The whole world now knows that there are no survivors of the incident.
Not far from the bed where Nayla was, a man in the typical clothes of a patient was also fast asleep.
But a second later, he began to blink his eyes that were slightly exposed to the morning sun.
Dizziness whack his head, making him reflexively massage his temples.
That man is Joo Young. The soldier who rescued Nayla from the bush where she fell.
Joo Young wakes up from her sleep into a sitting position.
With his eyes still not fully open, he was frowning looking for a girl who also accompanied him to keep the patient in a coma.
Who else if not Hyoen Sua. But he did not find the figure of the girl again in this room.
Maybe it's in his office hours. Thought Joo Young.
The man moved from a small bed where it was devoted to the family of patients who stayed. The man walked into the bathroom. Five minutes later he was family after cleaning his face and brushing his teeth.
Joo Young tidied up the bed where he slept under the patient bed where Nayla was. The man stood right beside the bed, looking at Nayla's scarred face. His outstretched right hand wanted to touch the girl's cheek, but he immediately brushed aside his wish when he remembered something.
This girl is Muslim.
He put his hand back down.
“Good morning. When are you gonna open your eyes?” joo Young said so softly.
His gaze turned into a sad. He turned his gaze towards the window.
Joo Young went to the window and opened the window curtain.
From the tenth floor of this hospital, he could see other tall buildings lined up as well as the streets of the city that were starting to bustle with people.
Office workers, as well as more students dominate the road because today is Monday. The day that formal activities begin after enjoying a relaxing time on the weekend.
“Today the weather is so sunny. Many people on the streets because they want to go to school to work and other activities,” he smiled as he turned around.
Joo Young walked over to Nayla who was still closing her eyes.
The man sat in bed with Nayla. He looked at the girl's face.
“If you? What's your job?” No response from Nayla.
The man sighed softly, “ah, right. You will not answer it.”
“You know, I even pretended to be sick just for your sake. So get up and go back to your country. Your family must think you're gone. Don't make them sad for too long.”
Joo Young's face turned sad.
“Because losing it is very painful.” He smiled bitterly.
“Available?” Sua asked who had just shifted the door.
The woman had changed into a costume with her field uniform which was always coated by a white coat typical of a doctor. He stepped in with two transparent crackle bags on both hands.
The girl sat on a long sofa just five steps away from the patient bed. He placed the bag on the glass table in front of him.
“I bring porridge and warm coffee to Oppa. Breakfast first,” the girl said while removing a lunch box containing porridge and also a glass of coffee that she stopped by at a store on the way to the hospital.
Joo Young moved up and sat down beside Sua. He moved to taste the food brought by the girl. After the man felt the porridge was delicious, he started to enjoy the meal.
“Where are you from?” Joo Young asked on the sidelines of her meal.
“From my future father-in-law's place.” The girl was busy playing her phone.
Joo Young glanced at him at a glance, “You're already planning on getting married?” Asked the man after swallowing his last mouthful of porridge.
“No.” Sua replied without distracting her from the phone.
“Then who is your future father-in-law?” Tanya Joo Young then sipped her warm Coffee.
“Your father.” Answer's relaxed.
But instantly, Sua screamed and reflexively stood up as she was rewarded with a burst of coffee from Joo Young's mouth.
The girl's hand moved to clean the splash of coffee that hit her thigh pants.
“Hey, be careful dong,” tirade.
While Joo Young again put down his coffee glass and looked at Sua with eyebrows that were linked.
“What do you mean?”
“What do I mean?” Sua asked back in an annoyed tone.
After feeling clean enough, the girl sat back down but on the single sofa on the left side of Joo Young.
“Your words just now. Why did my father become your father-in-law's future? And why is my dad here?”
“I don't know. Your father asked me to come to the Battalion. He asked me about yourself and talked about moving my duties to Seoul. And after I came out of the commander's room, I overheard your father's bodyguard saying that I was his future son-in-law.”
Sua sighed harshly,
“even after I reached the hospital lobby, they glanced at me and whispered. I don't know what's going on.”
Joo Young rested her body on the couch while closing her eyes.
“aahkk, what else is father planning this time.”
The man glanced sharply at Sua, “Hei!” joo Young said in a high tone.
“What?” reply Sua who does not want to lose.
"If we're being betrothed, please say no. I already consider you as my real sister. You can't be my wife. I don't like you” said Joo Young who made Sua gawk at hearing it.
“Hei! Dear Captain Kim Joo Young, you think I like you too, huh?”
Sua stood up while gagging her waist and looked at her nyalang.
“I also don't want to be betrothed to you. I have a lover and love him very much. So without you asking, I won't accept our match.” Sua said so loudly and immediately passed out of the room with a sense of regret.
“Hei! I was just kidding,” shouted Joo Young before finally the figure of the girl disappeared along with the closed door.
Joo Young shook her head looking at Sua's reaction which she thought was excessive.
But a second later, he no longer thought about it and preferred to continue drinking his coffee while staring at the window that showed the highest level of skyscrapers in the city.
“Ck. He thought I would agree to be betrothed to him. To say he doesn't like me. Should it be clarified like that too?”
Sua continued to nag herself along the way to the Emergency Unit or ER on the first floor.
The girl was offended as Joo Young said her words in a high tone. He thought as if Joo Youg thought he would accept their match.
“Lagian, is there still a matchmaking in this age? Only a village parent will match their child to someone they don't like. And only a foolish child receives an arranged marriage with a person he does not like.”
Sua stepped out of the elevator as two soldiers standing guard in front of the elevator greeted her with their hands raised.
“Honor, Lieutenant Hyoen Sua.” Teach both of them in unison.
Sua replied to that respect briefly without speaking anything and immediately waltzed away from before them.
“Is he the lieutenant rumored to be Captain Kim's fiancee?” Asked Corporal Seo, one of the soldiers standing guard in front of the elevator.
Corporal Jung who was in charge of guarding the elevator doors as well, nodded, “Iya. Beautiful isn't?”
“Iya is so beautiful. The general just wants him to be his son-in-law. The handsome Captain Kim, of course must be juxtaposed with the beautiful Lieutenant Sua.” Reply Corporal Seo with a small laugh.
“Though once,” Corporal Jung chuckles too.
------------------
He stood up as he grabbed the jacket, hat and black mask he wore last night. He put on all three attributes while looking at Nayla who still had no sign of waking up.
“I have to go, I have something to take care of. You don't mind if I leave it alone?”
Despite not getting a response, Joo Young continued to speak.
“Later there will be sister Hye Jin who will occasionally come to give you medicine. I stayed a while well,” he said then stepped away from the room.
---------------
Joo Young drove his car at high speed so he could get there in time before his father would return to the Command Headquarters in Seoul. It only took twenty-five minutes to travel from the hospital to the Battalion, finally the man arrived at the dominant area colored with military green.
He got out of his car and immediately stepped inside the green building.
“What General is inside?” Joo Young asked when he found his father's personal guard standing guard in front of the Battalion Commander's room or familiarly called Danyon, the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, the superior of the man.
The guard in front of him nodded.
With a quick motion Joo Young opened the door of the room to interrupt the conversation of the two superiors inside.
Joo Young saluted the two, “Honorat, Captain Kim Joo Young, would like to meet with General Kim Joo Soong,”.
Kim Joo Soong or his father Joo Young glanced at Lieutenant Colonel Hyoen Jung Soek.
He told the man to leave them both in this room.
Hyoen Jung Soek who understood the meaning of the gaze saluted him and left his own room. The orders of the superior cannot be denied.
As soon as the door closed tightly, Joo Young looked at her father without intending to sit down.
“Do you want to match me with Sua?” he said with a tone of speech so flat and cold.
Meanwhile, the middle-aged man in front of him was just silent without intending to look at his son who was now holding back emotions.
