Asphalt Edge Empty House

Asphalt Edge Empty House
Chapter 63 The Land of Desperation

With a heavy heart, Wira had to leave the pack of Jarwo who was struggling alone. The old man used the forbidden ritual of soul handing over to force the entire astral creature, to come with him to the lower realms.

The hero simply stared at the face of the old man who repeatedly saved his soul. Although very disappointed, but he must be able to appreciate the decision of Mr. Jarwo.

"Thank you, Mr. Jarwo, I promise I won't let you down. We must have brought Siska back safely."

After making a promise to herself, Wira took Linda's hand, then rushed to take her to the second floor. They ran towards the room that was right in the middle, according to the instructions from the package Jarwo.

"From here we should be more careful Lin, I don't know what other tricks the devil will make to trick us, but it's definitely not going to be easier than we've ever been before."

Linda nodded while swallowing her saliva. Although I do not know what to do, but the journalist girl just obeyed the words of Wira. Keris given Jarwo's pakde in his hand in front of his chest, Linda's mouth did not stop reading prayers as much as possible.

"I can do what sir, part of the woman is a demon, she's not a human who can be easily wrestled with."

Linda whispered behind the hero. Fear still haunted his mind. The hero stopped at the first door, then turned to look at Linda. He tied the keris that the girl held, strengthening her heart.

"Listen to me well Lin, Mr. Jarwo has given me his heirloom because he believes you can, and I'm sure you can deal with it."

"So you also have to believe in yourself. Rest assured, the Lord will surely defend his true being. Don't forget you're a tough reporter."

"Your job is just to trust the words of Mr. Jarwo. Whatever your heart says, the picture you have in mind, then let it all flow just like that, don't fight."

"Fear is natural, but you can't keep it, it will only make us weaker. Right now, I need you more than ever."

"Although I do not know what Mr. Jarwo has done to you, but he must bequeath something good. So you just need to get rid of that fear, and believe in her message."

Hearing the suggestion that the Hero gave her, made Linda become calmer. The keris handle that had been firmly tied together in the palm of the hand, made Linda more courageous.

They walked slowly closer to the large room with two carved teak doors. Unlike the terror-filled conditions below, the atmosphere on the second floor was very quiet, cold, without any metaphysical activity that they could both feel.

But Wira did not want to be rash, the condition of the hallway was quiet, making him feel strange. Hunch Wira said there must be something, even though he did not know what. But his heart told Wira to be more vigilant.

Slowly the hero touches the doorknob that turns out to be unlocked. He pushed the door, then peeked, to find out what was in the room.

The stench suddenly burst, piercing the nose. The hero backed off and kicked the door. He was worried that the stench was coming from the scent of astral beings hiding within. Once again the guess was wrong, the room was empty. The stench that made them nauseous turned out to be from the rest of the rest of the human body that was scattered on the floor.

"Kreaatt, bruak...!"

There was no wind, suddenly the big door in the room closed by itself. The shocked Linda, immediately hugged Wira while closing her eyes.

"Just the sound of Lin's door, don't be afraid!"

The heroes checked the entire corner of the empty room they were in. But there was nothing there, except bones, blood stains, and the rest of the organs of the human body that made them nauseous, wanted to immediately run away from the room.

"Is the appearance of Mr. Jarwo wrong, there is nothing in this room, or should we not both be insensitive?"

The hero tries to think using his reason. Linda tried to open the door. But strangely the big door, suddenly could not be opened. Although it had tried many times, but the result remained the same, the big door was completely unopened.

"Oh seriously sir, the door can't be opened, how is it now?"

Linda started to panic, the foul scent terrorized the girl's brain. He who is trained to use logic, cannot reason the phenomenon that is happening.

The hero began to sense a magical force, a kind of black magic that enveloped the room. It was like a spell that made them unable to see what was really in the room.

"Jarwo said, I have to use my heart, and get rid of logic, when dealing with those who are astral."

The hero closed his eyes, trying to concentrate on reaching a point of silence within him. His entire five senses seemed to be asleep, fused together in silence that made him feel at the peak of calmness.

Linda stopped her left hand trying to open the door. The beautiful reporter, turned to look at the girl who was seen sitting cross-legged on the floor. As my hair shuddered, Linda began to feel something.

"Sir. Mr. Wira..."

Linda began to fidget, cold sweat drenching her forehead. For the third time he touched the shoulder of Wira, and was surprised when the hero opened his eyes again, then quickly grabbed his arm.

" Put your eyes, and follow me."

The voice of the Hero made Linda become calmer, the heart was racing as if it wanted to jump out, slowly normal land returned. Linda began to be able to control herself, she cursed because she had to be in a tense situation that drained her emotions and mentality.

"Damn... shit.... fuck the evil devil...!"

The girl grumbled, Wira pulled on Linda's arm and asked her to shut up, then concentrated on a point in the room.

"Shut up, close your eyes, concentrate, and follow me!"

The hero holding Linda's hand took a few steps towards a wall. And the moment their bodies disappeared moved into nature. Linda opened her eyes, then found herself already in a strange place filled with thin fog.

"What place is this Mr. Wira, it's scary, the crow makes me shiver, do not pack Jarwo, wrongly pointed the room where Siska in the chaff yes sir?"

Linda looked at the foreign place, where they were at the moment. Dry rocky soil, shrouded in thin fog presented before. The haunted impression was immediately felt, as soon as his eyes saw a bunch of black crows perched on a dry tree branch.

"Kwak. kwak.. kwak... !"

Many crows sound as if they are queuing, waiting for fresh meat rations to be eaten. The hero circulates a look through the barren foggy area around him. The police officer lost his way, confused about where the foot would go.

As far as the eye could see only a vast expanse of barren wilderness, the ground broke apart, rocky, and the tree tree died without a leaf. The sound of a cold wind, sounded like the groans of a soul full of regret.

"If only Mr. Wongso and Mr. Jarwo were with us now, it would not be difficult to find the right direction."

Wira turned her face, looking at Linda who had been faithful all this time fell awake with her. The girl never once regretted joining Wira in the mission to uncover the Sandikala case.

"Now where are we going sir, this place is like the end of the world. Without direction, without clues, everything looks the same."

The hero did not answer Linda's question, he just smiled while rubbing the head of the smart girl, who had been a spirit for him all along. The hero held Linda's hand, and they walked aimlessly.

The sound of crying is heard whispering in the ears. Wira and Linda try to ignore the voice, even though they are in a state of near despair.

"Stop first sir, I'm tired, thirsty, from now on we just turn around. In the end it's back in the same place."

Linda knelt on the ground, her face bowed withstanding fatigue. The pitying hero saw her, sitting next to Linda while watching the boisterous crow swivel over their heads.

"Maybe it's our end sir, I'm no longer strong walking, this place is like a vicious circle. We just spin in the same place without the right direction, I don't even know which way brings us here."

"You calm down Lin, there must be a way out of this place. I promised to take you home, and it would do anything."

The hero tries to calm Linda down, though in her heart doubts they can return. The hero can only resignedly accompany Linda who gradually began to close her eyes, and fell into a deep sleep in the lap of the Hero.

"I'm sorry Lin, I shouldn't have involved all of you in the first place. I should have been the only one to go through the torture, not the two of you."

"Lord if this is the end, take my life, but give them back. I would not be able to accept the burden of sin, if because of me, they had to suffer."

The bowed spirit resigned, his heart shrouded in deep regret. The cold air dissolved the two in silence, subconsciously the figure of the cynical smiling woman watching them.

"That's the result, if you dare to challenge us."

"Haha...!"
