Asphalt Edge Empty House

Asphalt Edge Empty House
Chapter 41 The Soft Corn

Wira arrived at the location designated by Ronggo Joyo. A European-style house with a high gate, Ronggo Joyo is chosen for the ritual of closing the dimensional portal.

"The house is luxurious, but the impression is haunted. Does that guy keep his apprentices here?"

Doubtfully the hero approached the door of the house. He looked around, but found no one there. Just about to knock, but the door has opened by itself.

"Why would anyone live in a house this big?"

"This house looks more like a museum than a house."

The hero enters and sees the contents of Ronggo Joyo's house filled with a collection of ancient objects. Paintings, keris, urns, and classy objects filled the room.

"Go to the second floor, and go into the room at the other end and change your clothes there."

Ronggo Joyo's voice echoed, surprising Wira. He turned to look for the source of the voice, but Ronggo Joyo's figure was not visible around the room.

Alertly the Hero continued his steps towards the second floor. There are five doors on the second floor, and Wira immediately headed to the room located at the end according to Tonggo Joyo's instructions.

The hero entered and found a set of black clothes lying on the table. The hero immediately put on the clothes provided, after that just silently waiting for the arrival of Ronggo Joyo.

"Sit on the floor, we'll start the ritual now."

Arriving Ronggo Joyo was already in the room, Wira was surprised to not see the arrival of Ronggo Joyo from the door that was right in front of her eyes.

"He's actually a man or a demon, why don't I see him coming in from the door."

"Is there a secret door in this room."

Ronggo Joyo caught the confusion on Wira's face, but he did not care about Wira's reaction, and asked her to sit cross-legged on the floor.

"Not surprisingly, I can come from anywhere. Better open the ancient book I gave you."

Ronggo Joyo asks Wira to open an ancient book that he gave. The hero simply obeyed without asking what the book was about. All the letters in the book use the Pallawa script, which may only be understood by Ronggo Joyo or people with special skills such as linguists or archaeologists.

"But wait for Mr. Ronggo, before I agree to perform this ritual, you must promise to free Linda's tribe back into her body."

The hero submits the terms before agreeing to perform the ritual. Ronggo replied with a cynical smile, while saying something that Wira did not understand.

"I'm kabeh depending on your lan upoyo intentions."

"Linda's safety depends on how determined and effort you are, Mr. Wira."

"I choose you, because your birthday is the same as Asih. According to the Javanese calendar, if your birthday is the same, then the fateful day you two are the same."

"So you have to lock Asih in inter-dimensional space on the fateful day. That's the only chance to get Linda's tribe back."

Wira tries to examine the words of Ronggo Joyo, there is a sense of unease tucked in the heart, but Wira has no choice, she must follow every speech Ronggo Joyo, for the sake of Linda's recovery.

"Now enter and immerse your body in the seven-figure flower pool. Close your eyes, then follow the mantra I say."

"Pronounce the mantra in the heart, then feel the soul go out of the body."

"Remember don't open your eyes no matter what."

The hero then took a deep breath and immediately immersed his body in the pool filled with seven-figure flowers. The voice of Ronggo Joyo began to cast a spell.

In accordance with his direction Wira recited the mantra in his heart, until suddenly the voice of Ronggo Joyo was not heard anymore.

"What is this, why is my body limp?"

"Where am I now?"

Suddenly Wira's chest felt tight, he saw his body lying in the water, then Wira felt himself drifting into a place that felt foreign to him.

"What is this place, why is it so quiet?"

Wira goosebumps, the atmosphere in his place is so foreign. The hero is like being in an ancient burial area, in a forest tenfag with giant towering tree trees.

There were several piles of wood on it, lying corpses of corpses that were being cremated. The smell of rotten flesh pierced the nose, smelling far away.

"I need to get out of here, this place is really weird."

Wira ran away but the smell of meat that was roasted, still smelled until Wira felt nauseous. The hero continued to run as far as he could, but as far as his footsteps could be seen was only the tomb of the old tomb.

"This place is much more sinister than when we met the figure of an old snake. I don't know why I think the atmosphere here is more mentally terrorizing."

"Different from that time, when I was with Mr. Jarwo will pick up Linda's tribe. It was very dark and there was a lot of terror from the sound of an unsettled soul voice, but it felt no more sinister than this place.

"Either because I'm here alone or this place holds the darkness of silence."

"The atmosphere in this forest is humid, the aura is pressing, my chest is claustrophobic by the smell of the rotten corpse carried by the wind."

Instantly when the spirit of Wira became shriveled, the atmosphere of the forest filled with old tomb tombs, making Wira shudder in horror.

"I haven't even met a single person who could scare me, but this feeling is really uncomfortable."

The hero continued to walk down the old tomb with an unturned tombstone, until he finally met the figure of an old woman standing right in front of him.

The woman just silently stood on her back. He seemed oblivious to the existence of the Hero behind him.

"Mr... "

The new hero would ask, when the figure of the grandmother suddenly turned his body, then grinned with a broken face, his eyes were broad and his cheeks were filled with maggots.

"Yesaaa...."

The hero retreated a few steps, until he fell backward. The horrible figure of the grandmother pointed in a direction, then simply disappeared.

"Damn, that grandmother shocked me to the point of falling. Who is she really?"

"Am I dreaming?"

Wira forgets that right now his smooth body is wandering leaving a rough body. Unbeknownst to him, Wira has ventured into an inter-dimensional portal.

The magical gate that became the boundary between humans and supernatural beings. The dividing line between those who live with those who are gone. A thin line connecting humans to spirits.

The hero continued to walk with sweat soaking his body, the sound of sound began to tease the ears, vibrate the heart, shrink the guts.

The figure of a human figure with an unnatural body shape watching the footsteps of the Hero. They stared intently as if to confirm that the presence of the Hero had disturbed them.

"What do you want here?"

Suddenly the figure of a large tall creature like an ape blocked the steps of the Hero. His eyes were red, his teeth were long-fanged, and his tongue was stuck to the ground. The creature immediately questioned the existence of the Hero in their midst.

"I just want to find my friend, one of you brought him here."

"I must free him from the shackles of the old serpent."

The hero gathers courage, then expresses his intention to come to the soft realm. The creature in front of him grinned angrily as the hero called the old snake.

" You're a man, how dare you call our lord that."

"A presumptuous human being like you deserves to be our slave."

Wira realized, his position is currently threatened, he recited the prayer as he could, but the creature there, laughing while following the prayer that the Spirit read in his heart.

"My prayer doesn't work for them. This thing, it's actually mocking me."

"Oh my God, what do I do now?"

"Originally Ronggo Joyo didn't equip me with any weapons, how could I fight them?"

Suddenly Wira heard again the whisper of the mantra spoken by Ronggo Joyo, along with that Wira remembered the words spoken by the Wijaya family lawyer.

" Linda's safety depends on your determination and effort."

The words of Ronggo Joyo, strengthen the heart of the Hero. Somehow, suddenly courage appeared in his heart. The hero took a few steps back, recited the prayer in his heart and took, a stone and threw the eyes of the giant creature that confronted him.

The great ape-like creature that confronted him roared in pain, he caught Wira and shot her a few meters away. Fresh blood spewed out, Wira groaned in pain, but continued trying to stand with a stick in her hand.

Again the creature managed to capture the hero and would slam him to the ground. The hero who realized his body would be thrown, just threw the wood towards the eyes of the giant creature along with his body that was thrown.

The hero fell slammed hard to the ground, his body lying, and slowly his gaze darkened, so the hero did not remember what happened to him.
