Chapter 18 Red Dress

The morning air pierced the skin, the mist had not yet thinned, not even the chirping of birds was heard. Such a gripping silence. Rimba Raya always successfully presents a horror atmosphere that can make my fur saddle shudder instantly.

Tomy came out of the tent, a stinging stench disturbing his sense of smell. The thick fog has not disappeared, but the nausea makes Tomy forced out to find the source of the foul smell that makes him want to vomit.

"Tool..!"

"Damn it, what is this scent, it smells so bad."

Tomy grumbled, he walked through the fog, covering his nose with a mask. The visibility was only two meters, but Tomy was undaunted, he continued to walk by relying on his sense of smell.

Tomy's leg hit something that made her fall. His hand touched a slimy, foul-smelling thing. Tomy quickly stood up, he immediately took a few steps back. Cold sweat drenched his forehead.

Tomy rushed back to the tent and cleaned her hands. He hurriedly dismantled the tent to continue searching for the whereabouts of the Hero.

As Arjuna was already in front of the cottage, he checked the entire contents of the cottage for clues. The whole cottage has been checked, but Arjuna did not find anything.

"This cottage is a mess, is this the cottage that Mila told me about?"

"If so, then I'm close to the location of Mr. Wira."

Arjuna looked at the compass, and checked the map. After marking the cottage he went on a journey to find the whereabouts of Tomy and Wira.

He felt Tomy spend the night at this place last night. The fog started to disappear, Arjuna could see the traces of shoes on the wet ground.

"This must be a trace of Tomy's bang shoes."

From far away Tomy, could hear someone calling her name. He immediately ran towards the direction of the sound, while carrying a rifle in his hand.

Arjuna took a deep breath, he was relieved to find Tomy. He continued to follow Tomy's voice, until they finally met near a large towering tree.

Tomy was silent for a moment, he thought what was wrong with them, in Tomy's heart and prayed as he could, while Arjuna was getting bored, all felt unreasonable. He started to make a move.

Arjuna shouted in a shout calling out the name of Wira, a sense of tiredness made him upset. The young policeman couldn't control himself, his emotions weren't as stable.

Tomy is very upset with Arjuna's behavior, but he can understand his junior's attitude. It had been three hours they had walked around the forest with the coordinate point of the location map that the Hero had sent two days ago.

Traces left by Wira have been found. This means that they are on the right track according to the point in the map. Tomy felt that there was something in the forest that could not be explained with reason.

"If you follow the map, we should be close to the location of Mr. Wira, the footprints and the bodies I found, they died in a trap set by someone, he said, and I'm sure the trap was set by Mr. Wira Jun."

In the silence of the jungle, Arjuna caught something different around him. He felt that the forest was too quiet, even the sound of insects since this morning was not heard in his ears.

Arjuna's fur stood up, his nape felt cold, the corner of his eyes suddenly caught a shadow passing through the trees.

Spontaneous Arjuna woke up from his seat. Without saying a word, the young man immediately walked after the shadow he saw.

"Jun, where are you going?"

"Damn it, this kid doesn't stop making trouble. What's the kid doing now?"

Tomy immediately chased after Arjuna who was walking quickly in front of him. The strange attitude that his junior showed, really made him worried about Arjuna's health.

"Jun stop..!"

Tomy continued to pull Arjuna's hands as a dazed person, he even repeatedly patted his junior's cheek, so that Arjuna would stop his steps and be aware.

Arrived Arjuna pointed far away towards the trees, Tomy spontaneously followed Arjuna's index finger and how surprised Tomy, when he saw a beautiful girl in a red dress, smiled at him with a sharp look.

Arjuna looked puzzled to find himself standing on the brink of the abyss, though not too deep but the abyss could have taken their lives.

"The girl in the red dress."
