Dalilahs.
Did Revi know that I was thinking about all this?
Half an hour later, the car he drove stopped at a modern minimalist house with a garden that was so beautiful and cool.
His small family home.
Revi removed her seatbelt, while her daughter was still sleeping soundly on my lap.
"Would you take it inside?" I asked while looking at him.
Revi nodded. "Thank you for accompanying the princess! Um... I'll take you home after this...,"
"Call me Lilah! No need ndoro princess!" my timpal immediately while smiling.
Revi exhaled, he looked at me for a moment. His face implied so many questions that he wanted to ask, but a moment later he closed his eyes with a long breath.
"I thought you were swallowed by the earth!" he said with restraint.
I smiled miris. He thinks I'm dead?
Ah, did he look for me, did he not go to college abroad because he had to get married at a young age and take care of his daughter.
I was too blind to her condition after I left the cafe first. Not because I really sincerely let go, but also my promise to Ayahanda.
"I just got home a week ago from Melbourne!" obviously, but I shouldn't have to explain it because Revi doesn't need to know. It doesn't matter if I'm swallowed by the earth or eaten by a crocodile, he probably won't care like he used to.
She already has a small family, her daughter looks adorable. Revi must be quite happy with what he has now.
I smiled again. "Better you bring your daughter inside, fuck her!" I said as I took off my seat belt.
"All right!"
Revi gets out, he opens the trunk of the car, picks up the groceries, and puts them on the porch of the house, as soon as a grown-up woman-much more mature than Revi-welcomes him.
There was a short conversation while pointing to the car. I'm down. I don't want the woman to be mistaken, but the woman's gesture was mediocre when she saw a girl in Revi's car.
But if Princess already has a mother, why did she ask me to be her mother. Heuheu, why is it so confusing.
The car door opened, Revi smiled faintly. "Wait a minute!" he said while taking over his daughter carefully.
I breathed a sigh of relief while her daughter was still sleeping. Lf it doesn't? It's hard to imagine what happens next.
I glanced at the rearview mirror. Researching my face, hoping my make-up is still intact and still beautiful.
Since I want Revi to know too, I was fine when I parted with him first. Not despair or lamenting of fate.
But the truth is Revi still harasses me.
What happened to you in seven years? You're too young to be a father, Rev. But this impossibility feels limitless.
I waited for about fifteen minutes before Revi walked out of his house in a white suit complete with his briefcase.
He really became a doctor?
Thankfully, he still embodies his ideals among his busy life as a father.
I smiled a little as he got into the car and we were really just the two of us now.
There was a nervousness that intertwined between us as the car returned to walk, crossing the hustle and bustle of the city and some of the roads that we often pass first with his motorcycle.
"Let me go to the mall just now, my driver's still there!" I said before Revi decided to take me to the palace.
"There's still business at the mall?" ask her with a frown.
I cleared my throat and hoped that he wouldn't assume that I did it in memory of his past.
Especially that incident almost ten years ago.
It's a shame that until he finds out I'm still single after breaking up with him.
While I was dying to move on, she was already making love, making her son earlier. I smiled wryly. So miraculous.
But this is the destiny that I have to live, I just need to be happy like seven years ago without him.
The car stopped in front of the mall. I took off my seat belt before looking at him fixedly.
Her hair... Her lips... I nodded unconsciously.
"Well, this was a bit of a weird meeting, but I'm pretty happy to see you again!" I said honestly.
First date, skipping school, first kiss, boy grab, and most importantly heartbreak.
I really experienced everything with him. He was the starting point where my maturation began.
Revi clucking. "Other time I'll visit you, now come down!"
I nodded and got out of the car. He darted straight to his workplace, leaving me unmoved staring at his car that disappeared at the intersection.
"Let's!"
I'm turning. My driver who was none other than Bimo approached me in a hurry. The black uniform that wrapped around his body made him look cool and perfect for a bodyguard.
"Why disappear again?" ask her with eyes that examine my body.
I flaunted my rabbit teeth. He's clucking pissed.
"Ayahanda is old, she will keep thinking of you if you keep disappearing!" he said with worry.
I chuckle. Who would have thought, these seven years he had a difficult time. Cipto left, followed by his mother, and now... Bimo becomes the father's adopted son.
He lived in the palace, serving his entire life for the palace and the Father.
"There was a small incident. Sorry!" I said I understood his worries.
"What incident? With who?" inquiringly. Fix, his duty to be a bodyguard back he took after I returned. Especially after he went to school in the Guard Corps, he was getting stout, meticulous and unwilling to accept illogical excuses.
I take a deep breath, I cannot be confused.
"I think it's important I'm back and safe. That's enough!" my answer.
"That's not enough!" direct chimps. Still fluttering, crossing, asking for a more detailed explanation.
"Mas Bimo kok that, Lilah ngambek you know!" rayuku deliberately with an angry face.
Bimo hissing exasperatedly. "You're not as funny as Junior High! Where's it?" resolutely.
"So I used to be funny? Hmm.." I asked with narrowed eyes, investigating.
Right now, for the first time, Bimo cannot answer my question.
I'm back to chuckling. "As a good brother, let's take a walk! I haven't had time to buy new shoes because a little boy asked me to be his mother!" I finally walked.
Bimo breathed out loud.
"For three more hours you just spent with him? With the father of the little boy too?" guess Bimo.
I'm nodding. Remembering Revi.
"Ayahanda won't let you marry a widower!" quickly serge. Telling me like a sister.
"Ayahanda also did not allow me to marry a bodyguard. There are rules and you know it!"
Bimo stopped moving, I looked at him and shook my head.
"Don't hurt our bond even if it's not a blood tie!"
Bimo smiled slightly. "Just because it's not the blood ties that bind us, I can be anyone to you!"
I'm pissed off. "I'll complain to Daddy if you're rude, Bim!" threaten me not to mess around.
Bimo gave a short chuckle, but immediately changed the water on his face as Revi ran towards the two of us while calling out to me.
"Your phone missed in my car!" he said while extending his hpku. I checked my little bag and sighed.
"Thank you, this is new! Can cry all night if it's really gone!" I chuckled to myself as I slipped my phone into my small open bag. Forgot to close it tightly earlier while holding the princess.
Revi was silent, and so was Bimo.
They just stared at each other.
A sharp look, guessing, assuming and I knew what was going through their minds.
"Come, Mas! My father is waiting for us!"
Both of them were breathing rough. Bimo immediately pulled my hand leaving Revi who was unmoved staring at my hand and Bimo who was clinging.
