"What's the matter, why is his face so sad?"
Ardan had just returned to the patient room where his grandfather was treated with a sad face.
Ardan simply shook his head, trying to smile.
"Are you praying Ashar?"
Ardan asked Yoshie, his wife.
Yoshie shook her head slowly.
"I'm on leave Bang."
Answer Yoshie.
Ardan rested his body on the sofa.
Now his mind is in the fog, thinking about the condition of his family.
Even though he knew he was just an adopted child from an orphanage, yet he still could not ignore it. Twenty-eight years he had been living with this family, as the firstborn son and grandson.
"Am sure you don't want to tell Ochie?"
Ardan glanced at his wife, then shook his head again.
"Ardan.. Ardan.."
Suddenly Grandpa who had just woken up called out to Ardan.
"Yes cake.."
Ardan inched closer to the patient's bed, then clasped his grandfather's hand.
"What's the cake, do you think Grandpa needs anything?"
Ask Ardan.
"Doctor Rangga.. Please call him here."
Ardan frowned.
"Doctor Rangga? Why Kek, do you have any pain or complaints?"
Asked Ardan who looked worried.
Grandfather shook his head while smiling.
"Grandfather just wants to talk to Doctor Rangga, man to man talk. Hurry up, please get him here."
"Yes Kek, Ardan find Doctor Rangga first huh. Yoshie, you're the big brother, Grandpa.."
Then Ardan went to find Rangga in his room, but no one was there. There was only a white coat draped in his chair.
"It looks like Doctor Rangga is not here.."
Ardan's Mumbling.
Then Ardan went to the administration, to ask for Rangga's contact and accidentally cross paths with Doctor Bayu, Papa Rangga.
"What's the matter, you seem to be looking a little panicked?"
Ask Doctor Bayu.
"There's nothing, Doc. I'm just looking for Doctor Rangga, is he not in service today?"
Ask Ardan.
"Rangga is not in service, he is still on sabbatical until college is finished."
Answer Doctor Bayu.
"Ah, iy the doctor is right. I just remembered Doctor Rangga once said it."
Answer Ardan.
"Is there anything urgent until you find Doctor Rangga?"
Ask Doctor Bayu.
"Ehm, look, Doc.. Actually my grandfather who wants to meet with Doctor Rangga. Grandpa said there's something to talk about, it looks like it's important."
"Wait a minute."
Then Doctor Bayu reached into the cell phone in his pocket, and contacted someone.
"Doctor Rangga, get to the hospital right now. Important."
After talking on the phone, Doctor Bayu back pocketing his phone.
Said Ardan while shaking Doctor Bayu's hand.
"Either. Then I stay first."
Then Doctor Bayu left Ardan who also rushed back to the patient room.
"Rangga, are you really serious about marrying my granddaughter? Sorry if Grandpa suddenly asked this. Grandpa just wanted to make sure that Arin was with the right person."
That afternoon Rangga spoke with Grandpa Jailani, after asking Ardan and Yoshie to come out.
Rangga grabbed Grandpa Jailani's hand.
"God willing, I am really serious about my intentions. But I realized, maybe Arin still needs time to think. I don't want to force it, I've been waiting for him for years. I don't mind waiting any longer. I know, I have to convince Arin too."
Reply Rangga.
"Rangga, Grandpa really wants to see you guys get married. Can you grant Grandpa's request?"
Rangga.
"Ladders.. Grandpa tipped Arin huh. Please take care of him. Grandpa is sure you can take good care of him."
"God willing, we will both take care of Arin. Therefore, Grandpa must be healed quickly. I will also try harder to convince Grandpa's granddaughter. But Grandpa also has to help me huh, help me convince Arin."
Grandfather nodded slowly while smiling.
"The stairs, sorry. So it's a hassle for you to come here. Did something happen to Grandpa?"
Ardan asked shortly after Rangga came out.
"Grandfather just wants to talk Mas, yeah maybe he's worried about Arin too."
Reply Rangga.
Ardan breathed deeply.
"Since yesterday he hasn't returned. I heard from Rere, said you were the one who took Arin there?"
Rangga.
"Yesterday night I saw him leave the hospital like he was in a hurry. Out of curiosity, I followed him."
"Yes, I know. She must have been very shocked after hearing Dad's story about her."
Ardan.
"Then, what's the next plan? If it's Arin's parents to take the case to the law, I doubt we can defend Arin."
Ardan breathed back.
"Okay, I'm confused too. Maybe there is no other way. Inevitably, Arin must return to his parents. But that's exactly what I'm afraid of."
"Why Mas?"
Ask Rangga.
"Arin's biological father, he's not a random person. I doubt she wanted Arin just because Arin was her real daughter. I don't know, I don't think that guy's a good guy."
"Is that man Fakhrul Razi?"
Ardan looked surprised and rounded his eyes.
"How do you know?"
Ask Ardan.
"News of them are being talked about in the media. Even Fakhrul himself had openly admitted that they were married in series and had a daughter."
Ardan's stunned. He himself is not so concerned with the news in the media and indeed in recent days they only focus on the condition of grandfather who is still hospitalized.
"There's one way, so we can keep Arin. Actually ever since the day when Arin was about to be taken by force and I know who did it, I've been thinking about this. I will legally marry Arin as soon as possible, and so the responsibility for Arin will be transferred to me. Not even his father and mother would be able to sue. That's if you all agree."
Ardan was shocked to hear Rangga's crazy idea.
"Rangga, I know you love Arin and you intend to help our family. But talking about marriage in this situation, I don't know. I'm not sure Arin would approve. Then what about your family? Have you talked to your parents?"
"Mas Ardan, I know this is crazy. But this is the only way. I apologize in advance, I have no intention to take advantage of this situation for my benefit. But now we have the same goal, to protect Arin. And to do that, at least we have to have the same position and position as the real parents, so we have a great chance to keep Arin with us."
"I think you're right, Rangga. All right, behini. I'm gonna talk about this with Dad and Arin. You talk to both of your parents. I don't want to have any other problems."
"Okay, I'll talk about this with my parents. But I think they'll agree to that, too."
Rangga replied while nodding steadily.
