Episode Forty Five

Arin just finished praying. He is currently in a rented property of his old friend in the city of Medan.

It felt like he needed to calm himself down a bit from the fatigue and all the trouble that was going on today.

"Well, what is Rin, you're human?"

Tanya Rere, Arin's old friend who now lives in Medan because of his work.

"Alhamdulillah, Grandpa was a Wealthy Re. But his condition is still very weak."

Rere hugged Arin while rubbing his back.

"Rin, I won't force you to tell me if it makes you uncomfortable. I know exactly how you are. If that is the best, I can only pray that you both find your happiness even though you are not together anymore. But my advice is, try to communicate with him. Maybe he also felt awkward contacting you after your relationship ended. You've been friends since you were kids, after all."

"Rin, you're going to the hospital, right? Together with aja yuk, mumpung I also still have time I want to look at grandfather."

Arin and Rere walk down the hospital aisle, toward NICCU's money. Today Grandpa will be moved to the patient room, as his condition begins to improve and there is no need to use any more aids.

A Doctor greeted Arin. His age may be with his father. Despite not knowing the Doctor, Arin still answered his greetings politely.

and without them noticing, some of the nurses who were around them seemed to whisper to each other.

Only Rere seemed to feel awkward with the gazes of some of the nurses.

"How's your grandfather?"

Ask the Doctor.

"Thank God, grandpa's starting to improve Doc"

Arin glanced at the name tag in the Doctor's suit.

"Today Grandpa will be transferred to the patient room."

"Alhamdulillah, thank goodness. May your grandfather recover soon. Then I stay first. Assalamualaikum."

"Goddessalam.."

Arin and Rere answered at the same time.

"Who is Dr Rin, you know?"

Rere asked after the Doctor had disappeared from their sight.

"Doctor Bayu."

Arin replied casually, as if she knew him. Though he knew his name from the name tag that Doctor Bayu wore in his white coat.

"You do not realize, like some nurses here are watching us with strange looks. Especially when you talk to the doctor. How I feel I'm not comfortable."

Whisper Rere.

"Re, that's just your feeling. Yuk, let's go see Grandpa first. Hunt you late."

"Serius Rin, try to pay attention. They seem to be staring. Rin! You don't flirt with people's husbands, do you?"

Yoshie said that she also just arrived at the hospital with her grandmother and father.

"Sorry, Arin forgot to say. Arin's staying at Rere's, Arin's friend."

Then Arin introduces Rere to Yoshie.

"Arin, don't get used to it. At least you should tell one of the families. Especially because of the situation now."

Arin's father's speech is interrupted because Arin gestured to his father while glancing at Rere.

Rere hugs and gives encouragement to grandma, because previously Rere was very familiar with the Arin family, except Yoshie.

"I'm sorry, are you the family of Jailani's grandfather's patient?"

A Sister approached them.

"Yes Sus, I'm his son. What's the matter Sus?"

Ask Mr. Malik, Arin's father.

"Look sir, because his condition began to improve today Grandpa Jailani can already be moved to the nursery. But Grandpa still had to stay for a few days, at least until his stitches started to dry up. If the family agrees, we'll do the transfer now."
