Veronica was crying all the way back, she was not willing for David to break the cord of friendship between them just like that. That's what he's been afraid of all this time, he's afraid David breaks the rope of their friendship and in the end what he's afraid of happens as well.

Not only Veronica, although David's grandmother looks silent and looks calm but actually she is restless in her heart. He did not expect that due to his desire to bring David and Veronica closer, it made David angry so that their relationship as a family was destroyed.

"Why is Grandma scolding me like that?" Veronica wiped away her tears, why did David's grandmother become angry with him?"

"I've been wrong to support you, Vero. Now that David is angry with me, his relationship with his father is not good and now his relationship with me is not good. All because of you! I shouldn't have supported your rotten plan!" said the grandmother cynically.

"Grandmother, I didn't expect it to be like this. Don't blame me for what happened!" veronica said she did not accept it.

"Shut up, I don't want to hear anything!"

"I know I'm wrong for not taking advantage of the opportunity you gave me so well, Grandma. I know what happened to my negligence but don't be mad at me like this" said Veronica.

"Stop the car!" ellen's orders.

Veronica seemed to not understand why David's grandmother asked the driver to stop the car. After the car stopped, the driver got out of the car to open the door.

"Get out!" the grandmother's orders while snapping.

"What do you mean, Grandma?" veronica did not understand.

"Get out now, Veronica! Don't ever come home again because from now on you're not welcome!"

"Don't, Grandma," Veronica held onto Grandma David's arm to persuade, "David has thrown me away, now Grandma also wants to throw me away. If Grandma did this, then who am I with?" ask her with tears flowing.

"No need to brag and stale, you still have parents. Now get out otherwise I'll order him to pull you out!" threaten the grandmother.

"I'm sorry, Grandma. I'm going to go see David and apologize so don't treat me like this" Veronica still tried to plead.

"Get out, Veronica!" ellen Douglas cried with emotion. He shouldn't have supported Veronica, he was really sorry. David is the only grandson he has but now, he has made him angry and hates himself.

Veronica was crying, unable to resist David's grandmother's orders. He would rather obey today because he knows David's grandmother is emotional but next time he will come back to persuade Grandma. Inevitably Veronica got out of the car, although with a great feeling of annoyance and shame.

"Why bring my wife? What does that have to do with him?"

"No, do you have a wife?" annoyed, the man was most good at fighting his mouth with her. Usually men like David are quiet because they are lazy to talk but in fact, the man is chatty half-dead.

They did not speak anymore, Alana fed David in silence but there was something she wanted to discuss with David but in the end she could not help herself.

"Regarding your relationship with your grandmother" said Alana. He dared to say that.

"What's wrong? She's not my grandmother anymore, so don't interfere!"

"It's not so, David. I don't want to interfere, but I don't think you should break the family leash with your grandmother."

"After what he did, Alana? What kind of grandmother would harm her own granddaughter for the sake of someone else?"

"I know, David. I know what your grandmother did was wrong but you have to see who made her that way. Your grandmother must have been influenced by Veronica's words, she must have hated me and feared we had a special relationship. Veronica must have instilled a feeling of fear and anxiety so your grandmother thought that only Veronica was right for you. David did not make a sound, Alana smiled before moving on to take the medicine.
