Alana who had just returned and found David who was angry, did not dare to look at the man. David would know if he went with Stanley. His personal driver must have told David he didn't come home and go with a man.
Though he had already made up his mind if he would explain this to David, he would tell the man if he followed Stanley just to find out what Stanley really meant and tell him what Stanley said to him. He also wants to ask David for his opinion on the company left by his father but why is the man like he can't be spoken to for now?
Instead of them fighting, he better discuss this later with David when the man's mood has improved. Speaking now was not wise because only a quarrel would occur between the two of them so he should not ignite a fire on the dry grass.
Alana lowered her head and stepped both her legs towards the room as she did not look for any reason, as much as possible she had to avoid the man. David, who was angry, was even more angry with what Alana did. The girl actually dared to ignore herself without giving her an explanation.
"Didn't you see me, Alana? Didn't you see me now after you met the guy?" shouts David loudly. He was really angry, both hands had even clenched tightly.
"It's not so, please don't misunderstand me," Alana asked as she stopped her steps.
"Oh, misunderstand me? Wh-wh-what for? Do you want to explain it to me?" ask David cynically.
"What if we discuss this later, David," Alana said.
"Why should I later? Don't you want me to know what you're talking about with that guy? Do you think I'd misunderstand the meeting between you two?" David stepped closer to Alana who looked a little frightened.
"Do you think you're special to me so I have to misunderstand?" shouts David loudly.
"Ti-No!" Alana stepped back, you wretch. He had really already made the man furious. She shouldn't have gone with Stanley but she was very curious as to what the man's purpose was.
"Now tell me, why did you go with him? What did he offer you so you would go see him? What offer did he make more tempting than my grandmother's offer?"
"What do you mean?" alana did not understand.
"Do you think I don't know what you said to my grandmother and Veronica this morning, Alana?" David looked at her cynically and after that he shouted, "I know everything you're saying so don't pretend not to know!"
Indeed David already knew because after Alana left the office, David got an unexpected visit from his grandmother and Veronica. Alana's remarks this morning about her rejection of the offer given by the grandmother she heard from her grandmother of course with sweeteners mixed into the speech.
Ellen Douglas, who does not want her granddaughter to be taken advantage of by her servant, said that Alana rejected the offer she gave because she wanted to ride a life with David. Not only that, Ellen is furious and tells David that Alana will accept the offer she gives if she offers him a house and a company in addition to paying off her debts.
At first David did not believe it, but Veronica assured it even they asked David to check the Cctv at home. All the words that her grandmother said turned out to be not a mere trick because clearly Alana rejected the offer that her grandmother gave even clearly Alana said would accept the offer that her grandmother gave if her grandmother gave a house and company for him.
David did not want to misunderstand Alana's words but the girl's words that said if she really wanted to accept the offer of the grandmother made him think if his grandmother gave what Alana wanted, he said, so Alana would accept the offer from her grandmother without hesitation and leave her. Now she knew why Alana was asking her opinion. It seems that the girl pretended to be a holy pretender when in fact the grandmother's offer was less attractive.
Fires of anger began to burn in the heart, his grandmother and Veronica increasingly add spice that makes the ears hot. David tried to hold back the emotion, he intended to discuss it with Alana later but the report he got from the driver if Alana went with Stanley actually made the anger that had subsided again flared even the anger that controlled him with quick one.
David asks his grandmother to leave while he returns home to wait for Alana to return. David waited long enough but Alana did not return, so he was overwhelmed by the flames of anger.
"I did say that but my words were not serious" Alana said. He would explain this but would David believe what he said?
"Not seriously? I heard everything, Alana. Like my grandmother said, you're really sneaky."
"As for you, I don't want to argue!" alana said as she walked away. It seemed like whatever he was going to say, David would not believe it. As he had already decided, it was best for him to discuss this with David after the man's mood calmed down.
"Wait!" david shouted as he pulled Alana's hand.
"What else you want, whatever you want to judge me like!" yelled Alana annoyed.
"Tell me, what are you doing with Stanley?!"
"It's none of your business, you don't need to know!" alana shouted while pulling her hand but David did not release his hand.
"Oh, so I can't know? Did he make a more attractive offer than the one my grandmother made?" David gripped Alana's hand tightly until it made Alana grimace in pain.
"Sick, are you crazy?" yell Alana.
"Answer! Did he make a more lucrative offer than the one my grandmother made?" shouted David.
"Yes, he did make a more interesting offer. Not only will he give me the company and the house, but he will also pay off all my debts and take me away from the bad guy like you!" yell Alana wrath. Enough is enough, if indeed David considers it sneaky then let the man still consider it so.
"Good, really good!" alana's hand was released, David stepped away and stood his back to Alana.
"What my grandmother said about you is so true, I'm so disappointed in you!" said again.
"Sorry to disappoint you, Mr. Douglas. But I'm just a bird who wants to run away from this golden cage so I'll accept the offer from whoever is important to me and can free me from here!" said it.
"Don't expect you'll be able to! I don't take anyone's money. You won't be able to leave other than I kicked you out!" david shouted furiously.
"Well or not, I'll still pay you all my father owes me!" Alana stepped away while wiping away her tears that she could no longer bear.
They both have to be like that. He's a waitress and David's employer. Regarding the debt his father would pay, whatever way he would pay. He'll prove that he's capable without needing anyone's help to keep David from insulting himself like this again.
Alana goes into the room, while David leaves the house feeling chaotic. They shouldn't have fought like this but it all got messed up because of someone else meddling in their problems.
