The Disappointing Family

David woke up but in a bad way. His head hurt, his body temperature was quite high. David cursed, remembering what he had experienced last night. Both of her eyes were closed, what punishment did Veronica deserve? Not only Veronica, she was also so disappointed in the grandmother who conspired with Veronica.

He thought he would die when he woke up because he could not channel his cravings due to the cursed drug but he was still alive. I don't know what medicine Alana gave but she doesn't remember anything after that. David opened his eyes, as the door opened. His eyes were fixed on Alana who was carrying a basin and who was stepping closer to her.

"How are you doing, David?" ask Alana. He looked relieved that David looked fine.

"What did you give me last night, Alana?"

"That's a drug given by the doctor to reduce the reaction you feel due to the drugs you consume!"

"Then why am I unconscious?"

"I-I don't know," replied Alana pretending not to know. Don't let David know if there's any sleeping pills in that drug.

"Did I hurt you last night?" David tried to sit down but he had trouble. Alana approached him quickly to help. A couple of pillows in the pile so David can lean back comfortably.

"Did I hurt you, Alana?" david asked again, holding Alana's arm.

"No, but yeah, you're heavy!" alana ketus.

David smiled, his eyes could not be separated from Alana who was looking at the wound on her thigh. Because it has been sewn so it looks better. Upon seeing the wound, Alana sat down on the side of the bed and took the compress she was carrying. The man should get well soon because he will be in trouble. Don't let David act like a child who can't be left anywhere.

"Man like you, why would you take such a strange drug?" ask Alana. He really wanted to know about it.

"All because of Veronica!" anger re-entered David's heart.

"really? I didn't expect you to lose to that cunning woman?" Alana put a compress on David's forehead that felt hot.

"If there's no interference from my grandmother, do you think she can frame me, Alana?"

"Geez, so your grandma's working with him?"  Alana looked at David with a surprised expression. He wouldn't be surprised if Veronica framed David but his grandmother? He did not expect David's grandmother to take part in harming his own grandson.

"If there's no interference from the old man, I won't experience this!" Both hands were already tightly clenched, David was completely disappointed. Don't tell me his father and wife are involved. His family was really disappointing. He will no longer be generous, even to his grandmother and father.

"Why did your grandmother do such a thing, David? There's no way he's harming you with that drug, is he?"

"I'm sure he did! My grandmother was really influenced by Veronica. I don't know what made her trust Veronica so much that she wanted me to marry Veronica!"

"Is there anything else?" David looked at her sharply, he would avenge his grandmother and Veronica later.

"Well, what a pity. If I knew your grandmother's purpose then I would support her" Alana said.

"What do you want to do, David?" Alana screams that she has fallen on David's body. The man hugged his waist tightly so that Alana could not escape even though she had tried to wriggle.

"My answer, where were you last night?"

Alana was silent with her body frozen. Damn, he forgot about this. What should he say to David? David will certainly be angry especially if the situation of his heart is not good.

"I-I went to buy stuff, David. Know it? Urgent need because supplies are running out, "the lie.

"really? Aren't you lying to me, Alana?"

"Of course not, David. I actually went to buy stuff," I hope David believes.

"Well, you've seen the wound on my thigh, haven't you?"

"Yes, what does that have to do with me?" ask Alana wonder.

"Don't pretend you don't know, Alana. The injury's pretty serious, I'm having a hard time moving so?" David stopped his words. A meaningful smile adorned his face and one hand rubbed Alana's face. The girl gulped, a bad feeling.

"Ja-So what? Don't ask me to bathe you again, I won't!"

"That's all you have to do, miss. I can't walk, so you have to bathe me, feed me a meal and accompany me to sleep!"

"May you too, I don't mind!" David showed his smile again.

"Sucks, you big baby! Let me go, I'm cleaning the house!" Alana tries to push David but the man hugs Alana even more tightly.

"Disregard that work, now accompany me to sleep!"

"Don't, David. I haven't made breakfast yet so let me go!"

"I'm not hungry yet so keep me asleep!"

"David!" Alana was still shouting and struggling.

"Shut up, otherwise I'll kiss you until you shut up!" threaten David.

"It sucks!" yelled Alana annoyed.

"So?"

"Hm!" Alana snorted and threw away her face. David smiled again, now his hands are not stopping rubbing Alana's back and head.

"Let go of me David, I will accompany you to sleep but not in this position!" alana Pinta.

"I won't do anything, Alana. Don't worry."

"But I'm heavy and you're still sick. We better not be like this."

"Stts... protest again then I'll really kiss your lips!" threaten David.

"alright, fine. You suck!" Alana can only resign, so be it. After all, he was still sleepy due to lack of sleep. Being told to go to sleep, consider this an advantage. No need to work, he also got a warm hug so that his sleep can be sound.

David's hands that rubbed his back and head incessantly made his eyes feel heavy. Alana could not stand it anymore, so she fell asleep without waiting for long.

"Ck, you lazy fucker. Didn't you not want to? Now you're the one who fell asleep first!"

"David, you're a bitch!" alana Mumbles.

David smiles but the smile disappears when he remembers what Veronica did to him. If both of her legs didn't hurt, she would return to her grandmother's house today and give lessons to those who had already made her that way.

David's eyes closed, he needed a break so he could quickly return to avenge Veronica and her grandmother. Alana was already sleeping on top of her body. It feels soothing, he prefers such an atmosphere even though in his sleep Alana still sounds berating him occasionally.

Alana's sleep was really slumbering but her sleep had to be disturbed due to the sound of Veronica's scream calling her. Alana raised her body slightly, it turned out that David had woken up.

"Alana Meyer, get out of you!" yell Veronica.

"Ja*ang still dare to come to my house!" david was upset. The anger that had been extinguished for a moment now filled his heart again.

"I think he's coming with your grandmother."

"Very coincidentally, I do have some business with both of them!" David was about to move but Alana held him back.

"Wait, David."

"What's wrong?" David looked at her with a suspicious look.

"You're still not well, your legs are still hurting so you better lie down!" prevent Alana.

"No, I want to teach them both a lesson!"

"Let's wait here, I'll bring Veronica in. You can curse her as you like."

"What are you planning, Alana?"

"I have a great idea so wait here all right! " pinta Alana while showing a meaningful smile.

"What do you want to do?" david asked suspiciously.

"Pull him off!" after saying so, Alana rose from above David's body and shuffled a bit of his hair. David was very surprised, what would Alana do? Alana stepped out, as she said, she would upset Veronica but David who was already filled with the flames of anger could no longer hold back.
