ANELIC

ANELIC
Chapter 30

Rajasa keeps a neat consultation with Sekar. He decided not to say hello anymore. Rajasa is busy with his work, do not feel the time rolling until the stomach of Anelis getting bigger. She was thirty-three weeks pregnant. I am glad they have no family to celebrate. The seven-monthly event is not there for their first child.

Anelis is looking for the biggest dress she has. Trying his knee-length dress collection makes him more round, trying long pants and shirts do not fit on his stomach. Trying t-shirts makes him look weird. All are uncomfortable and annoying.

"Today do not need to check, Mas" said Anelis while still choosing clothes.

"Why?" ask Rajasa from the front sofa of the TV.

"No need, males."

Anelis threw the clothes on the bed. He chose to wear a daily negligee of his house again moving towards the TV room. Very not pretty with a distended stomach and a face that somehow feels drier. Her pregnancy changed the shape of her former self.

Anelis and Rajasa go through this phase without being accompanied by family. There was no one they could talk to, especially the child. Anelis is blind about pregnancy, as well as being a mother. Unfortunately the intelligence of Anelis using the internet he never used to find out. Rajasa especially even though his company is based on technology, he never had the desire to read articles about being a father. Anelis' pregnancy came at a time she did not expect. The only person who reminds Rajasa of the child is Sekar.

"Would you check it out?" Rajasa plays TV remote, he likes to change his channel continuously.

"No idea." Anelis grumbling. The mood changes change with increasing age.

"Yesterday what did his midwife say?"

"Check diligently every month."

"So, check it out." Rajasa is still watching tv.

Anelis once saw Rajasa's behavior, they often talk without eye contact. Rajasa always avoids his gaze. And Rajasa often suggests but seems insincere. Anelis got up from the couch, she was angry for some reason. Anelis locked herself in her room again.

What else now? Every day that is. Thought Rajasa was upset to see his wife's behavior.

Anelis drowned her head in a pillow, she let her cries out. I don't know why she doesn't want to cry anymore. Unconsciously Anelis felt homesick. Mother, Father, Andara, if they were there would not be this one pregnancy. Or Mama who will definitely notice it more than anything. If they were all accompanying, it would not be as much as this feeling of welcoming the baby. Anelis could only cry again and again by staying through the days.

Rajasa stared at his phone screen. The name of the contact owner he wanted to contact with remained ignored.

How are you doing now? Can't we just be friends?

Rajasa shakes his memory of Sekar. About their last meeting was also about Abbas and Daisha. Rajasa rarely visited them at the residence of Mr. Rajendra. Company business he fully entrusted to Dimas. Rajasa chooses to monitor from home, while checking the survival of Daisha Bakery and Lapis Legit. His innermost heart whispered, he should return to Harkit continuing his sole relic.

The doorbell of the apartment rang, resuscitating Rajasa to the real world. Rajasa grabbed the doorknob, he opened and could not believe the figure in front of him.

"Assalamu'alaikum's chat. How's Sa doing?"

"Wa'alaikumsalam's chat. Thank goodness Buk," Rajasa greeted his mother-in-law's hand.

"Hai Mas," said Andara who turned out behind Mom.

"Hi Ra's. Just get higher."

Andara smiled as she greeted Rajasa. They haven't met for a long time. Rajasa swiftly brought Mother and Andara's luggage. He did not know if the in-laws and his brother-in-law would come to say hello. Anelis was still crying alone, she did not know the woman she missed was present in their apartment.

"Ne, there's Mother with Andara." Rajasa knocked on their bedroom door.

"Ngacau. They may not come!" Anelis spoke loudly until Andara and her mother smiled at her words.

Anelis opened the door without caring about Rajasa. He remained wearing his house negligee, rushing towards their TV room. And it was true that the woman he missed was there. Anelis immediately rushed to her mother. He hugged the woman who used to be pregnant.

"One miss Buk, really miss. Thank you for coming" Anelis said, kissing her mother's hand.

Anelis is crying more, she does not believe the inner bond she and mother can feel. Anelis just say hello through whatsapp message only. For just a video call he rarely does.

"It's also a big miss Ne. Sorry I can come now. How's Ibuk's grandson?"

Anelis held her stomach, not knowing for sure if the baby was in good shape.

"Good Buk" said Anelis trying to smile sweetly.

Andara who also missed her brother also felt the newness that was present in their midst. Rajasa sees the warmth of the family back present, also feels relieved. Everything is back to how it was, in its place and will end happily. He was ready to welcome the girl he had already prepared his name for.

"Thirty-three weeks is not too late for seven months. We will share a little bit of our reserves. You want to go to the orphanage or where's Ne?" Anelis' mother began her intention of arrival.

Anelis and Rajasa. Why haven't they thought of anything like that. Why they don't care. There is regret in Rajasa's heart. He head of the family should be more able to read the atmosphere. Rajasa joins the TV sofa.

"To my best friend to learn Buk. I want to share the happiness of my friends there." Anelis looked back at Rajasa, asking him to agree on his idea.

Rajasa put his palm on Anelis' shoulder he said, "Yes a study friend yes orphanage. Let me take care of it. You focus on the same house Ibuk and Andara. If everything is ready I'll take it."

"Can?" anelis asked unconvinced by Rajasa's words.

Rajasa nodded steadily. Smiling sincerely at Anelis who was starting to be able to set the rhythm of crying.

"Good idea Sa. Ibuk know you are both busy with each other's activities so do not have time to think so. Just as soon as it's taken care of."

"Yes Buk."

Rajasa obeyed his in-laws. Inevitably Mother became a substitute for her mother at this time. No other woman can accept her service. Anelis hugged Rajasa. She knew this time her husband was really present in her life. Through Mother and Andara Rajasa again incarnate responsible man that he chose to accompany him. Rajasa looks so ready to be a father. Grateful angelis. The presence of the people closest to him made him excited. He no longer felt lonely. And his worries will soon be gone, as his waiting time awaits the birth of their beautiful daughter.

"Are you ready to name yet Ma'am?" Andara who had been a listener just started talking.

"Udah but still a secret." Anelis answered happily.

"It wasn't your Ma'am, it was Mas Rajasa Ra. Come along later." Rajasa is proud of his choice name.

In the past they had agreed that their son Anelis was entitled to give a name but if women are absolutely Rajasa's decision. Anelis hits Rajasa's arm slowly. His heart was not upset as usual, he was just happy Rajasa came back carefree.

"Let's ni yeee" said Andara as she closed her mouth.

Anelis' mother nudged the arms of her second daughter. Fear of Anelis lashing as usual. Seeing that all Rajasa just laughed. Andara managed to taunt her brother whose face was getting smoother. They also let out laughter together.

Sometimes happiness requires space and an intermediary. If the main culprit in the space is no longer able to bring happiness, there must be a trigger from the outside. So too with sadness. There must be a definite reason behind it. Crying and laughter make little difference.

And today, the usual deserted apartment became boisterous. Just because two old people did not say hello present gave color.
