Chapter 7

Today is the weekend. Dan Lovi has just returned from Japan after spending three days there with her husband. He went home first, while Devan was still in Sakura's land. Devan was going home with his wife, just like when he left. But apparently something is not really done. Until finally he had to let Lovi go home alone. He had asked Lovi to wait, but his wife could not wait to go home. Lovi already had plans after arriving at his house.

She invites her three children and Angel and Adrina to spend the weekend at a mall in downtown Manhattan where they are currently living.

Angel glanced at Andrean who had just been protested by Adrina. The man was silent. Angel murmured inwardly, "It is inconceivable how cold our marriage will be,"

Angel felt stupid to have thought of that now. He shook his head and it caught Andrean's attention. The man asked, "Why?"

But Angel only answered with her head and a small smile. There's no way he said he was thinking about his marriage to Andrean.

"Andrean, usually men like you find it hard to find a lover. But does that happen to you?"

"Hmm it seems like it is. Because what I've seen all this time you've always been alone, never been close to a woman" Adrina answered her own question.

Andrean looked at Adrina from the glass in front of him. In a sharp and cold gaze by Andrean, Adrina chuckled while grimacing.

"Why should you take me first? Our house is close. You should have taken Angel first,"

Adrina is still comfortable with Andrean. He thought, Angel first to be delivered to his house. Andrean's house and himself are very close, so Andrean will not go back and forth if you take Angel first.

Andrean stopped his car in front of Adrina's residence. The girl breathed out slowly.

Andrean only muttered while Adrina nodded with a smile as she turned a little back.

"Aren't you going to say hello to Adrian?"

Adrina didn't expect Andrean to talk to her like that. Tumben Andrean can tempt others to be upset.

"You made my sister sad yesterday?"

Adrina did not get out of the car because she was confused by Andrean's words. When did he make Adrian sad?

"Maybe you're close to someone?" Andrean muttered with a brief guess.

Not only Adrina, Angel was confused by Andrean's conversation. It has nothing to do with it at all. But wonder why Adrian is sad? The child who always looks carefree can be sad too to make his brother feel disturbed. If it is not disturbed, it is impossible for Andrean to talk like this to Adrina which he suspects is the cause of what Adrian experienced.

"It looks like Adrian was sad yesterday because of you. I mean, maybe you've just been in a relationship with someone and Adrian knows. So she--"

Andrean was sure, if Adrian knew he had spoken like that to Adrina, his sister would have been furious.

I don't know what exactly happened between Adrian and Adrina. They were like they were tied to each other but I don't know what was binding. Only friendly but when seen like a couple. It is precisely their quarrel that makes people think that their relationship is very romantic and colorful.

While Andrean looks not bothered at all with Adrina's frontal speech that he just heard.

Andrean and Adrian are not to be confused. They have different characters. And Angel does not deny that he also likes the character Adrian which actually makes it more comfortable if they meet compared to when he was with Andrean. Adrian is a shitty guy indeed. But he is warm, can make people around him comfortable with all his behavior. Andrean is inversely proportional to his brother.

Regardless of it all, being friends with the two of them was a very pleasant thing for Angel.
