All because of Angel

Chapter 17

Gesty came home after staying at her friend's house. At home he still has not met Angel, but only his father who is currently sipping his cigar.

"Dad, that kid hasn't come home yet?" Ask Gesty after she takes the drinking water. He used to tell Angel to leave and feel thirsty. But now he has to be independent. Just for a while.

"Later he comes home,"

Only a day later did Angel leave the house. He could rely on his sister again.

"Oh, is it healing?"

"Some,"

Geno exhaled a cluster of smoke from his mouth and then sucked again so deeply.

Gesty entered her extremely messy room. He cursed, usually the room was always neat and well organized. Of course the one who tidied up was Angel.

Gesty put her towel to the stand hanger and then tidied up her bed and also folded up the blanket lying on the floor.

"Damn it! Angel must be resting right now while I have to clean this up,"

Geno's voice called out to his daughter. "Yes, Dad," Gesty replied but did not open the door to her room.

After he finished, he opened the door and looked at his father and asked, "Why?"

"Make Daddy food. I'm hungry,"

"Didn't you eat out?"

"Dad hasn't been out since morning, waiting for you not to come home. Now Daddy's hungry. Make food!" Geno's word that made Gesty smash her lips pissed off.

"Dad do it yourself. I want to sweep and mop my bedroom floor,"

"Jeez, Daddy's hungry, Gesty,"

"Buy eat outside" he said, not caring, then closed the door and locked it.

Geno tightened his jaw. He was worried about Gesty, so he waited for Gesty to come home and forgot to eat. While Gesty seemed to care less about him.

Finally, Geno stepped into the kitchen. He took the rice bowl from the refrigerator and put it in the microwave to keep it warm.

While waiting for his food to be ready, he made hot lemon tea. When he was about to pour hot water into the mug, the hot water accidentally hit his hand. He clucked while shaking his hand which felt very hot.

"It's all because of Angel. If he hadn't been sick, I wouldn't have had this kind of trouble,"

As Angel had said, the doctor examined her once more before actually allowing her to go home.

When the doctor entered the room, Adrian and Adrina visited Angel. They immediately stepped aside for the doctor to freely check Angel's condition while Andrean was always by the girl's side.

"How, Doctor? Am I really allowed to go home?" Ask Angel with a hopeful highlight. He used to move, while in the hospital his body was only taken to lie down. He also felt bored in the hospital and did not want to long trouble Andrean who he believed would continue to visit him. Today only Andrean came again when he had ordered so that he did not need to visit him in the hospital again. But apparently Andrean did not heed his words. Or maybe the man just obeyed his mother's orders. I don't know, obviously Angel feels bad because it constantly troubles their family. He was admitted to the hospital of course because of Devan's intervention until he got treatment and excellent facilities.

"Yes, but you still have a lot of rest. Don't get too heavy, yeah,"

A happy smile was drawn on the girl's face. He nodded obediently. "Yes, Doctor. Thanks,"

"The conditions are much better, Doctor?"

Seeing her brother who seemed worried about Angel made Adrian smile. It seems like Andrean is serious about the matchmaking that both of their parents made.

The doctor nodded with his smile, "Yes, there's no need to worry. Angel has improved but the vitamins must be taken and not too tired,"

Adrian and Adrina approach Angel's ward. "Thank God you can go home. You should have heard the doctor say, Angel."

"Yes, Adrina. Thank you for coming here,"

"Lucky we're coming now, right? Try tomorrow? Angel is no longer here" Adrian told Adrina. It's not in vain to come here to give Angel support. Although there was a little problem in his car that accidentally rubbed against someone else's car, then he and Adrina had a debate first, but finally they got the happy news that Angel had been allowed to go home.

Andrean finished making sure Angel was sitting in his car. He went around the car wanting to get into his drive. But his eyes caught the car of the younger brother who was only two cars away from his car.

"Adrian," called Andrean as his sister was about to enter the car while Adrina had already gotten into the car first.

"What's wrong with your car?"

"Because of old man,"

After saying that, Adrian gets in the car leaving a frowning Andrean clueless.

"Old man, who does he mean?"

Angel waited for Andrean not to come in, finally he opened the car door and called the man.

"What's up, Andrean?"

Andrean shook his head then immediately opened the car door and sat behind his wheel.

"Nothing happened, did it?"

"Adrian's car was slightly damaged on the side,"

"Huh? How come?"

"Because the old man said," said Andrean imitating his sister's speech earlier. Just like his reaction just now, Angel now also looks confused.

"Because the old man's car is so, '" Angel concluded. Andrean flicked his shoulder, then turned on his car engine and rushed out of the hospital while Adrian was already there.

Angel had asked Andrean not to deliver him to the door. Because he did not want Andrean to see again his father's behavior that could have been immediately accepted once the door was open, because his father was very upset when he had to be hospitalized.

"I'll take you inside. I'll also discuss our marriage,"

Angel smelled her lips in dismay. He was not ready to receive a response from his father and brother when Andrean talked about their marriage.

"Isn't it too soon, Andrean?" Angel asked quietly as she glanced at Andrean who was sitting beside her.

Andrean stopped his car when it arrived. Then he looked at Angel.

"No, I want to marry you as soon as possible and so as not to cause trouble later on, your father and brother should certainly know,"

Andrean is too lazy to deal with people like Geno and Gesty. They're too cunning. And their dishonesty might be made into a big problem by Angel's father and sister.

"Yes, they should know my marriage,"

Andrean nodded slowly. He hated Geno and Gesty so much that he thought he wanted to marry Angel without needing to know and then he took Angel away as far as possible so that they would no longer interfere with Angel and their lives later.

"Down" said Andrean while removing Angel's seat belt and the girl was immediately made awkward. Afterwards, Andrean came out to open the door.

Andrean clasped Angel's cold hand. He knew the girl's anxiety. And he doesn't know what to do to calm Angel down. Just a little stomping their hands with a slow nod towards Angel, He hoped Angel could be ready to accept the risks that might occur when his father found out about their plans, he said, oh, more precisely, the plan is spelled out very quickly.

"I'm authorized to marry you, her son. He should be happy,"

Angel shook her head, "I'm not sure," he murmured.

Andrean said nothing more. He stepped closer to Angel's house along with Angel who was walking beside him. He was very sure he wanted to marry the girl and take her out of every pain he had received so far. Whatever Geno's reaction will be, it won't affect his decision. He will be stubborn this time. He did not want his childhood friend to be constantly hurt by his own father and brother. So it had to be Geno who relented, letting his daughter marry him.
