Chapter 12

Auristella hit her body on the sofa of the family room as soon as she arrived at her house after visiting her friend.

"Auris," called Devan after removing the jacket that wrapped his athletic body. The man's gaze was so serious that Auristella who had been half-asleep on the sofa became sitting in the right position.

"He's really your friend?"

"He, who's Dad?"

"We looked up, then,"

Auristella nodded quickly. Why does his dad seem to doubt? If not a friend, then why did he visit?

"Friends close?"

"Yes, we're close, too,"

Devan sat next to Auristella and made her son quite gasp. Devan was staring at him.

"Your love?"

"Huh? Bu-bu-no, Dad. Her friend. His name is Yongkie,"

Devan clucked as he turned the ball, saying, "It's not his name that Daddy asked,"

Auristella gulped her saliva nervously. She is twenty-four years old and even though she is a lover, why? isn't it natural to be close to men more than friends at a fairly mature age?

Ah Daddy's too overprotective.

"If she's my girlfriend, what's the matter, Dad?"

Devan's eyes were rounded and it made Auristella stare at her amused smile.

"Indeed Daddy's allowed to have a lover? Haven't you?"

Auristella. The girl rubbed her suddenly cold nape in an interrogation by her father.

"Heheh, no, Dad. She's not my lover. I swear, he's just a friend. I'm still single, seriously, Dad,"

Instead of playing around with his Daddy any longer, He better be honest that indeed He has not had a lover.

"You have to be honest about whoever's close to you, Auris,"

"Yes, Dad. All this time, it's been so,"

"But Daddy just got to know her,"

"She's only been friends with me for the last year,"

"And you didn't tell Daddy anything" Devan added.

Auristella's eyes blinked. Devan's face was flat. Her eyes sharpened looking very upset because Auristella is not usually open about male friends.

"I never told you? Feelings often. Maybe Daddy forgot. It's okay, Dad. I understand Daddy forgot. Daddy's old, he's old,"

After saying that Auristella ran away leaving Devan growling softly, "Truly the boy."

Adrian could have taken Adrina to the hotel. But there's no way he'd let the girl be alone, right? If He were there too, would He be able to guarantee that everything would be okay? nay!

After all, she thought it was better for Adrina to be brought to her house. She could ask her Mommy for help to take care of Adrina who when she arrived at her house had completely closed her eyes. Obviously, that made Lovi surprised.

Lovi even had time to scold Adrian because he thought Adrian was the one who made Adrina like this. After Adrian finished changing clothes, he spoke well to Lovi and explained everything until Lovi did not think anything.

"You're not lying, Mommy, are you?"

"Gosh, Mom. Here I'm helping Adrina, it's not me who made her like that,"

Lovi breathed a sigh of relief. He could see the honesty in the eyes of his second son. He rubbed Adrian's face. "Mommy just doesn't want Kommy's kids to be bad guys,"

"I'm sorry I interrupted Mommy's break. It's all because of Adrina,"

Lovi did not sleep because he had to replace clothes and make sure Adrina slept in a comfortable condition in the guest room. While Devan is still struggling with work and Auristella immediately rested after returning from the hospital to visit her friend.

"It's okay, Adrina's already like Mommy's own child,"

Adrian smiled with relief. He was already convinced Lovi would not mind accepting Adrina's presence tonight in their house all of a sudden.

"Mom, I beg Mommy, don't tell Aunty Sheva and---"

"Yes, Honey. Mommy remember, you better take a break. Relax, Mommy will protect Adrina because Mommy knows the child has no intention of disappointing her parents,"

"Thank you, Mom. I'm going to sleep now. Mommy's resting too, yeah,"

The sound of clanking spoons and forks clashing was heard when the small Devan family had breakfast and of course with one girl who was not part of them.

"After this you're home, right?"

Lovi commemorated her daughter who asked like that to Adrina. Her tone was too relaxed but Lovi was afraid Adrina was offended.

But it doesn't seem to be. Adrina chuckled lightly. He already knows how Auristella is. It's a little annoying, just like her second brother.

"Yes, Auris,"

"Oh, I guess it's still comfortable here for the next few days,"

"Can you?"

"You mean?"

"Can I stay here for the next few days?"

"May, dear," Lovi replied quickly.

Auristella looked at her mother quickly. What the fuck?! If Adrina stays here, she will be with Adrian. That's sure!

"Why is it comfortable to live here? Because of my brother?" auristella asked with a smile tilted towards Adrina.

Adrina smiled wryly. Auristella the possessive sister is back again.

"I don't allow. You think my house is dormitory?" Adrian shook his head firmly. She was kind last night to allow Adrina to stay at her house and even be cared for by her Mommy when she was drunk.

"Adrian, Adrina was just kidding. He also has a home. Already, don't argue anymore," said Devan. Her ears were hot hearing a small debate between her two children and Adrina.

"Why can't Mommy and Daddy know that you stayed here last night?"

Auristella accidentally steals Adrina's conversation with Lovi. Besides Adrian had asked Lovi like that, Adrina did the same. Adrina begged Lovi so much that Lovi shut her mouth about her condition last night so that she could stay here.

"Something happened to you last night?"

Auristella's question made Adrina have trouble swallowing the food in her mouth.

"She was drunk" Adrian replied because he saw Adrina who seemed very difficult to be honest. Maybe because he was embarrassed?

"Ck! Ck! Turns out you're not as innocent as I thought,"

Adrina was silent. His two hands that were in front of his mouth to feed food instantly came to a halt and hung in the air.

Auristella's reaction was like that when she found out that she was wild last night, although it was not all because of her wishes. Especially if both parents know. Adrina could not imagine how much anger and disappointment they felt.

"You have to find a really good woman! Don't be stupid for love!"

As if she understood the most about romance, Auristella advised her two brothers.

"Eat him, don't have a lover now! Later," continued Devan's youngest son.

Adrian's jaw hardened staring at the sister. While Auristella sniffed her shoulders looking unconcerned.

"If necessary, I'll find a companion for you, later,"

Adrian chokes until Lovi quickly withdraws drinking water for his son.

Auristella got a sharp look from her father and she immediately did not wrinkle. "The ones who have the right to do that are their own, Auristella. Or, Mommy and Daddy. Not you,"

Devan chided his son who was either joking or anything until he could talk like that. Adrian chokes. Maybe Adrian can not imagine if later really his sister is the one who is looking for a partner for him. It is certain that Auristella who has been perfectionist will be too many criteria in determining a partner for her two brothers.

"Auris said not to think about it. You know for yourself how my sister is. He just didn't expect that you'd get drunk until I had to take you to my house,"

After finishing college, Adrian accidentally met Adrina who apparently also just finished college. He immediately invited the girl to come home together.

Seeing Adrina's face, Adrian remembered their conversation this morning when Adrina had breakfast with her parents, brother, and sister. He also remembered how annoying Auristella's attitude towards Adrina was this morning.

The question had long since come out of his mouth. But he still thinks again. He was afraid that Adrian might be offended, or that Adrian would mock him by saying, "Hey, why would I do something to you? My taste is not you."

Considering Adrian is very annoying, it could be that the man said so to make Adrina embarrassed not to play.

"I'm taking you straight to my house. And I wouldn't steal a chance when you're drunk. That sounds so fucking,"

"After all, if I'm interested, I can do it when you're conscious. Unfortunately, I'm not interested,"

Her follow-up sentence made Adrina curse. That's how bad he was until Adrian's mouth confidently said 'no interest'. She's beautiful hey! Did Adrian not realize that his best friend is very beautiful? With her beauty she must be attractive in the eyes of others.

Adrina punched Adrian's arm until he grimaced. "You mad?" Ask the man casually. Did he forget his words earlier that seemed like Adrina was very bad to make people interested.

"You're angry because I didn't do anything to you while drunk, or--"

Adrian's laughter exploded. Especially when he saw Adrina actually took off the sneakers that wrapped her walnut legs.

"I'm kidding, Adrina. Don't grumpy. There will be no man who will be close to you, other than me,"

Adrina mounted the horses to throw Adrian with her shoes, but Adrian's attitude immediately made him stiff. And also his words. Why sound serious?

Adrian rubbed his cheeks gently and then swiped his pointed nose. Adrian glanced at him, because he was still driving his car. Adrian smiled broadly, "You are interesting. It's even very interesting. But like I said, I'm not that jerk to do something to you when you're unconscious,"
