All because of Angel

All because of Angel
Chapter 13

Angel's room door was knocked roughly by her half-sister, Gesty, because Angel had not yet woken up even though the time had shown at half-eight in the morning.

Angel usually finished preparing breakfast. But today it's not. That's why he was upset. Maybe Angel is still wrapped in a blanket while her stomach has been screaming for fill.

"Gesty, what's wrong?"

"Dad look at the dining table. There's nothing. That damn kid hasn't cooked or what the hell?!"

Geno, Angel's father who has a depraved nature that steps to the dining table. And true, he did not see a single bit of food.

"Damn! Angel's been pissing me off in the morning,"

He replaces Gesty to disrupt Angel's sleep. Because his call from outside the room did not get a response from Angel, he finally entered followed by Gesty.

Inside the room, they saw Angel lying in her blanket. Their anger immediately surged.

Gesty quickly pulled down Angel's blanket while yelling, "Can you still sleep?! Wake up! Get up!"

Angel has been up since. But he had a headache and his body had a fever. He has no energy to just deal with the anger of his brother and father.

"I'm sick, brother,"

"Ck! No need to put on a look like that! You're sick or even dying, I don't care,"

Neither his brother nor his father had often hurt Angel. But somehow hearing that sentence, Angel still felt pain. That was their indifference towards him.

"Dad hungry, Angel. You cook now! Hurry along! Don't let Dad be rude to you," said Geno, who had previously been silent, letting Gesty intervene.

Angel nodded weakly. He really needs a break for now. He wants to be understood. Is there not a little pity in their hearts to see Angel's current condition? Angel always did her job. If you give up like now, it means Angel is really not strong.

"HURRY, ANGEL! AWAKE NOW!"

Gesty's screams made Angel's head hurt even more. His hand was pulled by the Gesty in order for him to immediately rise from his current position.

Angel was forced to lower her feet to the floor and walk to the kitchen to eliminate the hunger of the two evil humans, who unfortunately had a blood relationship with her.

Already two days Angel asked for a dispensation at the restaurant where she worked to not attend first because her body still could not be invited to work properly.

Fever and headache still afflict him. He wanted to go to the hospital to check himself but he did not have the strength to just get out of the house.

He is alone at home now. His brother and father went nowhere after lunch. Angel only eats in the morning. He did not really desire to just feed a spoonful of food into his mouth. He ate this morning because he had to take medicine afterwards.

Angel tried to sit down. His vision seemed to rotate as soon as he sat down. Angel grimaced while massaging her temple slowly.

"O Lord, give me healing" he asked in his heart.

If he left the job too long it is not impossible for the restaurant to stop himself from working. While he really needs additional money apart from the rest of the education money given by Devan.

Shaking her phone distracts Angel who is going back to lying down. His hand was trying to grab his phone from the little nightstand by his bedside.

"Aunty Lovi," her lips read the figure calling her at this moment.

Angel cleared her throat before sliding the green panel on her phone. He tried to make his voice as usual but couldn't seem to. Because Lovi's ears can still hear his hoarse voice.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, Aunty,"

Lovi's frowns not believing that Angel is okay. Although he could not see the girl directly, but from his voice Lovi was sure that Angel was sick.

"You must be sick. You're too tired, Angel. Already eaten? Taking medicine?"

Angel chuckled softly hearing Lovi who asked in succession. Lovi really cares about her. It's only two days later that Lovi can realize that something happened to Angel.

"Yes, I've been eating and taking medicine,"

"Hmm it's true you're sick. Have you been to the hospital?"

"Yes, already, Aunty,"

"Really, Angel? Aunty doesn't like you lying, "Lovi intimidates Angel who stutters right away. She was confused why Lovi did not believe her?

"Aunty's sure you haven't been to the hospital. Remember that it is very difficult for you to travel other than to campus and work. Does it take Aunty to come to your house and then we go to the hospital?"

"Don't, Aunty. I promise I'll be in the hospital soon,"

"When? Later when your condition gets worse? Hm?" Lovi demands a definite answer from Angel not just a promise. Because for whatever reason, he's really worried about Angel.

"Angels..." Call Lovi when there is no answer from the girl.

"Yes, Aunty. Now-now I'm going to the hospital,"

Angel had no other choice. He did have to check himself into the hospital so that his condition could improve and tomorrow he could return to doing activities.

"Andrean's going to pick you up,"

"No--no need, Aunty. I can--"

"You don't want to make Aunty sad about your rejection, do you? Then let Andrean come to your house and take you to the hospital,"

*******

Andrean turned to his side where Angel was sitting, ah no, rather asleep. The girl's head leaned against the glass beside her. His eyes were tightly closed and his breathing was in order. During the trip was quiet and it turns out Angel fell asleep calmly.

Andrean got out of the car to take a wheelchair. He wasn't sure Angel could walk into the hospital.

After the seat was at the door of his car, he immediately entered the car again to wake Angel.

"Angel, we're here,"

Angel was still in his sleep. When his arm was touched gently by Andrean, he opened his eyes.

"It's here" Andrean told him.

Angel turned her eyes out the window. It turned out that they were already in the hospital and in front of the door on the side was already a wheelchair.

Andrean will come out first. He turned his head as Angel called him, "Andrean,"

"No need to use a wheelchair. I can walk on my own,"

"I'm not sure" replied Andrean briefly then completely out of his car. He opened the car door for Angel and helped the girl sit in a wheelchair. Andrean locks his car and starts pushing the seat Angel is currently occupying.

"Andrean,"

Andrean just cleared his throat and Angel took it as Andrean's response because he called. Angel turned her head towards Andrean who was behind her looking down at her, then Angel smiled sincerely at Andrean.

"Thank you,"
