Chapter 18

The woman who had three adult children and a husband who was once cruel but now very sweet, none other than Lovi, entered the workspace of her husband.

Devan immediately shut himself in the room after he, Lovi, and Auristella enjoyed an afternoon with tiramisu cake.

While waiting for the night, he decided to work first and his wife had promised to call him if all their children had gathered and dinner was ready.

Seeing his wife enter his study, Devan glanced at him.

"Andrean and Adrian are home?"

"Andrean hasn't,"

"Didn't He and Adrian go home together?"

"Yes, but Andrean drove Angel first and seemed--"

Lovi stopped her speech and sat down on the sofa, looking at her husband seriously.

"It looks like he's going to talk to Angel's father first,"

"Talk? About what?" Devan asked with a frown on his forehead. Andrean and Angel's marriage is not happening anytime soon but Andrean will talk to Geno now? But good, thought Devan. So not impressed rush that might later make Geno feel unappreciated because it was told when approaching its implementation.

"Andrean wants to marry Angel soon, Dad,"

Devan's eyes blinked and he was silent for a few seconds, "Andrean changed his decision? Aren't Andrean and Angel both ready?"

"Yes, honestly Mommy was also shocked by Andrean's decision. Mommy reminds Ean again not to be too quick in making decisions, Mommy wants him to think carefully because Mommy does not want both Andrean and Adrian even hurt women when they have had it. But Andrean assured Mommy that he was thinking hard and that was his decision,"

"I don't want the boy to marry Angel because he feels sorry for Angel,"

Lovi looked at her husband who shook her head while closing all the files in front of her.

"I want them to get married because they're ready. Not loving each other, no problem in my opinion. But if the reason Andrean wants to help Angel, I think Angel will be hurt for that reason,"

"But-Andrean's intentions are good, Dad. She--"

"Yes, I know, honey. But Angel doesn't necessarily think the same way as us. Angel could have felt Andrean was too involved in his life. He felt able to survive this long and did not rule out the possibility He would hate Andrean who did not believe that he was strong to the point of having to marry her to become a guardian angel,"

Lovi nodded, Devan's sentence has a point. Andrean is aiming well but not necessarily Angel catches his point as well.

"If it is a matter of love, they will learn. Many marriages happen without love. Like you and me, for example. But if marriage happens because one party feels sorry and wants to help the other, I think it will be difficult not to cause problems later,"

"Let's talk to Andrean again,"

Devan puts his hand on his wife, takes her out of the study.

Lovi immediately received a helping hand from her husband and they stepped into the dining room where Auristella was already sitting on one of the chairs.

"Dad, where's Ean? I called no answer. Ian's home but he hasn't,"

"There is no business possible" Lovi replied briefly. Lazy explained to his son that Andrean was dropping off Angel and was probably talking to Geno, Angel's father. Because before going to the hospital earlier, Andrean already had such intentions.

"Oh yeah, when's Angel coming home?"

"Home home" replied Devan. Auristella nodded her head.

Devan circulated the view, "Where's Adrian?"

"Mandi, maybe,"

Geno smiled obliquely looking at the man before him who looked undaunted by the stern rejection from him.

"Angel I haven't allowed you to get married yet,"

"I promise to make her happy,"

"Too soon you promised," sizzled Geno.

Angel who sat beside Andrean had been feeling anxious since earlier while Andrean remained with his calm demeanor. He never wants to respond to something inelegantly.

"So you that I met a few days ago are my sister's future husband? Oh I really didn't expect,"

"Easy, Dad. Let them marry. Angel will not be with us anymore. But you have to remember Angel, never forget me,"

Gesty smiled slantedly looking at her sister. 'Not forgetting in the sense of not just having fun alone, is that what it means?' Inner Angel.

"What do you have until you're so sure you can make my son happy? Of love? Hmh! My son can't survive with love alone,"

To be honest Andrean did not know that Angel apparently did not share a story about their plans. He thought that after he recognized himself as Angel's future husband, Angel would start to open up to his father. But it seemed, the girl had no courage yet.

"Dad--"

"You look very confident that you can make my daughter happy with what you have, besides love. You don't know if I can confirm that?"

"Please, you can find out anything about me and be sure of yourself,"

Andrean did not mind at all if Geno wanted to find out about him in order to ascertain what He had even though He knew Geno did it not for Angel's happiness but for his personal interests. If the fact that he is not the only one who can give love to Angel, then Geno will do what? He'll let Andrean marry Angel, then he'll ask for a part? Ck!  it was already in Andrean's brain at this moment.

Angel drove Andrean to his car. Andrean opened the car door, but he did not enter immediately because Angel muttered his name.

"What's wrong?" Ask the guy.

"If I may know, why are you speeding up our marriage because of what?"

Previously, Andrean was the same as himself who did not want to get married in the near future. But suddenly Andrean turned everything around.

"I don't think there's any harm. Anyway come to think of it, why waste too much time to get close. You and I have been closer since I was a kid,"

Angel was not at all hurt when Andrean did not say 'because I started to love you' after he asked about the reason why his decision changed.
