All because of Angel

All because of Angel
Chapter 3

"Angel, Aunty brought you here to say something,"

"Yes, Aunty. What's up?"

Lovi and Angel met again in between Angel's activities which is now not only a student but also a waitress in one of the restaurants.

"Andrean remains with his decision,"

Angel's forehead squinted. It turns out Andrean again is what they're going to talk about.

"He wants to fulfill Aunty's wish. But if she's getting married soon, she's not ready yet,"

Angel's smile rises. He can breathe freely. At least that's what he wants. At least He and Andrean need time to convince their hearts while getting to know each other even though it is undeniable that introductions have long occurred. But getting to know close has never been. Because every met Andrean more silent as well as Angel because he was too good to carry himself. Angel is very awkward when with good people like them.

"Oh yes, Andrean will pick you up later. Aunty gave him your cell phone number,"

Angel's eyes blinked. Then he smiled stiffly. There was usually Lovi in their midst. But later not. Somehow their interaction will be.

"Aunty didn't think to the two of you. Why not exchange phone numbers when you've been friends since childhood," half grumbled Lovi sipped a drink on his desk.

Last morning Lovi reminded Andrean to move, unlike before who only budged after knowing that he was betrothed to Angel.

And this time, it looks like Andrean is going to do his mother's request. He will start to approach Angel and act like a man who really wants a woman as his life companion.

All this time, He only agreed to the match without doing something that made Angel even more hesitant about the match. He feels unwanted. Andrean was confused as to how so he could only agree without doing anything. He did not understand that both his parents wanted him to embrace Angel himself without having to be told first.

"Y-yes, Aunty." Angel was only able to reply to her like that. He doesn't know what he'll behave like. All this time he was stiff when he met Andrean.

"Well! It's nothing you've ignored me, Ean!"

"Gosh, all right, I'll pick you up first,"

Andrean exhaled softly as his grumbling sister was upset after he said that this afternoon he could not pick up Auristella because he wanted to pick up Angel at the restaurant where he worked.

Besides, this morning Auristella made sure to go home with Adrian. He also accepted his Mommy's request.

"But after picking me up, let's go for a walk first huh,"

"Where, Auris? I gotta go get Angel,"

"Thou couldst refuse my request!"

"I don't want to disappoint Mommy,"

Auristella sneered at her eldest sister. The girl quickly switched off her phone.

Andrean shook his head slowly staring at the screen of his phone. He then returned to the room where he and some of his employees were meeting. He was forced to leave one of his employees who was presenting about the update plan of his online learning application.

"I'm sitting in front!"

Angel nodded without refuting after Auristella asked him to sit in the back.

Before, Auristella wasn't all that she was. But after finding out that Angel is being betrothed to Andrean, Auristella's attitude changes. Angel knew once how possessive Auristella was towards her two twin sisters. Even when he accidentally met face to face with Adrian alone Auristella could reprimand firmly. But Angel never took issue with that. Because he himself had no intention of seizing the affection of Andrean or Adrian from their younger brother.

Andrean looked at her at a glance as if asking 'no what?' Angel nodded slowly with a faint smile.

He actually took his sister for a walk first before picking up Angel.

He felt bad for Angel. But seeing the girl didn't seem to mind, she calmed down a little. Uh? Why is she worried about Angel's reaction to her delay in picking up the girl?

"Have you worked there for a long time?"

"Not too long, Auris,"

"Oh, why work? Isn't your tuition already settled by my Mommy and Daddy?"

Andrean glanced at his sister at a glance on the side of his focus on driving. He thought the question was too meddling in Angel's affairs.

Angel smiled before replying, "To fill up my free time only,"

Lying, he works to meet the needs that are somehow getting more and more. Though usually the rest of Devan's tuition is still enough for his daily needs.

Perhaps this is due to his father who is not stopping spending money on negative things such as playing women and taking drugs.

Meanwhile, his half-brother also shopped at will without working. Angel was so weak that he could do nothing more to stop the ugliness of his father and stepbrother. He had tried but still lost and ended up getting slaps and other violence from his tempramental father.

"So empty of your time, huh? It's so different from my super busy sister,"

I don't know what Auristella meant to say. But Angel catches that indirectly Auristella does not like He who has a lot of free time, while Andrean has a steady and established job. The empty time is not much.

Andrean thought hard to change the atmosphere in the car. He was looking for the right topic of conversation.

"You want to go straight home, don't you?" andrean asked as he glanced at Angel through the glass in front of him. Angel nodded quickly. It was too late to go home. His father would be angry. He hasn't prepared dinner yet.

He was late because of Andrean's long arrival. Lovi had already told her that Andrean would pick her up. He could not suddenly go home first before being picked up by Lovi's eldest son.

"You wait a minute in the car,"

"Why do you have to go down too anyway, Ean?!" Auristella exclaimed with annoyance as her brother wanted to drive Angel to the gate of his modest home. Auristella thought that after Angel got out of the car, Andrean would immediately drive his car.

Without saying anything, Andrean went down to follow Angel who had gone down first after thanking Andrean and Auristella. He wants to talk to Angel before she enters his house.

Angel had arrived at his doorstep and he had not realized that Andrean was following.

"Where are you?! Already know not to cook for dinner father and Gesty, why even go home late?! Huh uh?!"

Andrean's eyebrows shot up as he witnessed firsthand how rude Angel's father's attitude toward his daughter was. Not only words, even his gestures looked so arrogant. The man ruffled his waist in front of Angel.

A second later the cruel man's eyes were on Andrean as well as on the car that was behind Andrean.

"Oh you sold yourself out? Goody! How much money?!"

"Dad--"

Andrean quickly approaches Angel, who swears by anything new he knows has a fate as sad as this.

"Sir, sorry about before,"

Andrean's existence makes Angel surprised and embarrassed not to play. He wasn't ready for other people to know how his father had behaved all this time.

"Sorry to make Angel late to come home. It's all my fault. And Angel didn't sell himself. She's my future wife,"
