Accompany Me with Hijrah

Accompany Me with Hijrah
SERMON 2

The twilight has passed, replaced by the darkness of the night. Although dark, but Zarra's house looks bright and more crowded than usual. Today is the day most awaited by Fahri and Zarra. The day that Fahri will perform the sermon on Zarra. Khitbah or commonly known as 'applying', where the male family will ask permission of the female family to marry their daughter. It's Fahri's own desire to get Zarra married without going through ta'aruf. Although he only met a few times, he was convinced that Zarra was the woman he wanted to accompany him until the end of his life.

Fahri came with his mother, abah, Umi Fatma and Amira. Asyifa accompanied Husna and Humaira at home. Abah comes to accompany her in place of Fahri's father, who has died. They're coming ba'da isya'. They were welcomed by the Zarra family. Papa and Mama Zarra looked very amazed with Fahri. Besides he is handsome, according to Mama Zarra, it turns out that Fahri has the same hobby as Papa Zarra, which is touring with a motorcycle. They have the same educational background at UIN. After opening with introductions, Abah finally conveyed the intention of their arrival.

"So, Mr. Zaky, our intention and arrival here is to ask for, propose or preach a son of the father, Zarra, to make us the daughter-in-law of our family" Abah said. Papa Zarra was silent for a moment.

"Sorry, Bah. I don't want my son to be a son-in-law in Abah's family" replied Papa Zarra. Zarra could not hide her surprise. Not only Zarra, but the whole family was present. Mama Zarra patted her husband's shoulder gently. Abah waited for Papa Zarra's next words.

"I don't want my son to be just taken as a son-in-law in Nak Fahri's family. But I would like and beg, if it would be acceptable to make him like a child in the Abah family. Because Zarra's my only child. If he gets hurt, my mom and I will get hurt too. I want Zarra to be happy, Bah," Papa Zarra said later. There were tears welling up at the end of the middle-aged man's eyes. For him, Zarra is everything. He would not be willing if the child he raised lovingly had to suffer in someone else's home.

Abah smiled and nodded in understanding. He looked at Fahri. Fahri. He looked back at Zarra's parents. Zarra, who was sitting next to her mother, was hiding the tears that were dripping down her cheeks. Abah understood the concerns of Papa Zarra, as he himself had a daughter, Asyifa. The only one like Zarra.

"I understand the concerns of Mr. Zaky and Ms. Rania. I myself also have a daughter, just a puppet. Just like Zarra. Zarra was like our son, like a brother to Asyifa. God willing, I will hold the trust of Mr. Zaky and Ms. Rania" replied Abah wisely. For some reason, Abah felt sad. He imagined what it would be like when Asyifa was also in the sermon later.

"Sir, Mom, God willing Fahri can hold the mandate of father and mother. Both my sisters are girls. My mother is also a woman that I love so much, how will I hurt the woman who will be a mother for my children later?" said Fahri. Papa Zarra smiled. He was satisfied to hear Fahri's answer.

"Good, Bah, Nak Fahri. I received the sermon from Nak Fahri. How is Zarra?" asked Papa Zarra. He looked at the only girl. Zarra nodded with a smile.

"Alhamdulillah" said everyone present. Then, they immediately set the date of Zarra and Fahri's wedding. They agreed the wedding would take place after graduation. Fahri also informed that 3 months after marriage, it is likely to go to Cairo to continue his S2. The event continued with dinner together.

This morning Zarra woke up with a happy heart. Ever since Fahri came home last night, his heart felt light and happy. He kept asking in his heart if he was in love. Because it feels so different from the feeling of falling in love before.

Today he was sent by his father to college. Her script trial schedule starts at 9am and she is the last student of the trial period this time. He hopes he will pass the trial and can apply for graduation this year. On the way to campus, he was incessantly praying.

"From now on, Papa will take you wherever you go. You can't go alone without Papa?" said Papa from behind his wheel. Zarra smile. He understood the feelings of his father. Soon she will be Fahri's wife, which means her Papa's responsibilities will move to Fahri. He also understood the reason his father took him wherever he went. That's because Papa is currently his only mahram. Papa has received the sermon from Fahri, and Papa wants to maintain the trust of the Fahri family.

During the trial, Papa Zarra waited outside the courtroom. Several times the student noticed himself while walking past him. Even since they got out of the car and walked towards the courtroom, they had been the center of attention. Some feel strange because college is still delivered by parents, while others feel it is sweet because of the form of parental affection for their children. Zarra walked proudly with her Papa to the courtroom. Before entering the room he took the time to kiss the hand of the man who had raised him, begging do'a so that everything went smoothly.

Kriiiieeett...

The sound of the door opening. Papa Zarra stood up. Zarra came out with a bright face. Followed by the lecturers who immediately walked away from them, except Mr. Adi. Mr. Adi stood behind Zarra. Zarra ran over to her Papa.

"Alhamdulillah, Zarra's thesis is accepted, Pa. Zarra passed, Pa," exclaimed Zarra softly. Papa Zarra said thank you and hugged his son. Mr. Adi smiled at their familiarity. He also walked closer to them.

Seeing Mr. Adi coming towards him, Papa Zarra took off his child's embrace. He smiled among astonished, proud and grateful to the lecturer who had guided his son.

"Congratulations, sir. Congratulations, Ra? You are also graduating this year. Separate us!," said Mr. Adi half jokingly. Zarra laughed, and so did her Papa.

"Thank you, sir, for guiding my son through college here. Sorry if he was naughty yesterday" said Papa Zarra also half-joking. Pak Adi laughed at Papa Zarra's joke. Zarra just laughed.

"Actually I want to take my son-in-law as a daughter-in-law, but it seems like he is not yet a match," said Mr. Adi later. Zarra was bowed down in a bad mood as she recalled their conversation when the day was.

"Sorry, Sir. My son has been preached by others" replied Papa Zarra still with a polite smile. Adi was surprised. He did not expect that quickly Zarra got his soul mate.

"Well, thank God. I'm not happy, sir, because some time ago I offered Zarra ta'aruf with my son, Dani. But it turns out that Dani has invited someone ta'aruf," said Mr. Adi.

"Alhamdulillah" whispered Zarra. It was not only him who felt bad. Mr. Adi too. Maybe he was with Dani as a friend. Zarra breathed a sigh of relief. Then, he and his father decided to go home.

On the way home, Papa Zarra asked about Dani. Zarra told him who Dani was and how he knew her. Papa Zarra just nodded in a smile. For him now it is very important to maintain a good relationship with his iron candidate. He did not want to disappoint his candidate, because he also did not want Zarra to be treated unfavorably there.

TRIINNGGGG

- Malik - Manik

How's it? When's khitbah? Graduation again.

Zarra was very upset to read it. Why Malik became such an obsessed person. He himself left Zarra on the grounds of hijrah. He also chose to marry Kinar, Zarra's friend. When Zarra let go, she wanted to be with Zarra again. He said hijrah, but it was not at all like a hijrah person. There was not even a greeting he typed. Zarra was too lazy to reply. Zarra chose to let it go.

TRIINGGS

Chat from Fahri in. Zarra. There was a strange taste in his chest. He felt a thumping open message from Fahri.

Assalamu'alaikum, Ra

How's trial?

There were no romantic words there. But that was enough to make Zarra smile. He also replied to Fahri.

- Zarra -

Yes, I will be by chance

Do not forget to eat and pray

The spirit of his work

Greetings to all the family

Zarra misses everything**

Zarra turned her gaze out the window of her car. Fahri was in the store. The shop in question is the minimarket family Fahri. The effort left by Fahri's father. Umi and Husna are usually the ones guarding it. But today maybe Fahri wants to help take care of it. Fahri himself had a coffee business. He distributes coffee with his own brand to minimarkets and shops throughout Indonesia. Zarra knew it from Asyifa.

Chatting with Fahri is not as romantic as Malik used to be. No emoticons love or kiss. That's because Fahri didn't want to invite zina. Aye! zina heart, mind and eyes. But somehow Zarra is more comfortable like this. She felt respected and valued as a woman. In his heart he prayed that Fahri was the best of God.
