Accompany Me with Hijrah

Accompany Me with Hijrah
OBSESSION & LOVE

This Sunday morning the air of Surabaya felt cooler than usual. Zarra wanted to sleep longer after the dawn prayer. But his eyes could no longer be closed. He also jogs around the housing complex. Today he has promised Ashifa and Amira to his boutique subscription. He wanted to buy some clothes. While his old clothes while not yet hijab has been neatened in cardboard and will be donated to the orphanage.

As soon as he got home, he immediately got ready to pick up Asyifa and Amira. He only drank a cup of milk coffee made by Bi Asih and immediately left.

Zarra arrived at Asyifa's house at 9 a.m. In the back seat of the car there are already two boxes of clothes that they will take to the nearest orphanage. When Zarra came down, he was already greeted by Humaira. It turns out there are Husna and Fahri. Zarra said hello and was answered by them.

"Zarra, let Fahri come between you? Don't be too late to go home, too" Abah said. Zarra nodded. He didn't mind Fahri dropping them off. But he doesn't know how to behave. They raised two more boxes from Asyifa's house. Asyifa and Zarra sat in the back seat, while Amira sat in front with Fahri. This is because Amira is Fahri's younger brother and is a mahram. Before leaving, they say hello. After their death, Umi Fatma said to Abah, "soon, Bah". Abah manggut-mangut understood.

Along the way it turns out not as lonely as Zarra imagined. Fahri is a friendly and loving person. It was evident from his attitude towards treating Amira. Sometimes he joked to make Amira crumble.

"Oiya, Zarra said he had a thesis?" Fahri told Zarra. He glanced at Zarra from the windshield. Zarra was wrong.

"Yes, Brother. Next week the trial" replied Zarra. Asyifa and Amira were shocked by Zarra's statement. They just found out Zarra's going to court next week. Even so they were happy because finally the trial was also overtaken by Zarra.

"Well, the end of the abomination is also yes, Ra?" said Asyifa. Zarra nodded with a smile.

"'That's thanks to you too. If there is no motivation from you, I don't know what I am," replied Zarra humbled.

"Oh, so sweet," said Amira. Zarra and Asyifa laughed at Amira's behavior.

"Where did Fahri go to college?" asked Zarra later. Fahri did not reply, Amira had already denied it.

"He's his S1 at UIN Kediri, Ra. Now on S2 leave in Cairo. Dapet scholarship college there," said Amira proud. Zarra was amazed to hear it. "Neither nyesel be his wife Bang Fahri," said Amira again.

"Heh, what the hell? I'm still learning too, Ra," said Fahri. Zarra smile. Once again Fahri sees Zarra through the glass. Their eyes crossed once again. Then they went back to their conversation.

Amira's Fressia Boutique is really big. This boutique specifically sells Muslim clothing and Muslim worship equipment. Once they arrived, the three of them immediately split up to choose the item they would buy. Amira and Asyifa only bought one stel of shar'i clothes complete with a hood. While Zarra he was still busy buying some other equipment. Zarra most recently got back in the car. He brought two shopping bags. One big and one small. Then the car went to the Nurul Hikmah Orphanage.

"Ra, you bought a lot of clothes!," exclaimed Amira looking at Zarra's shopping bag. But Zarra did not answer, Asyifa had chimed.

"Remember the message Umi, Ra. Every dress you wear will be responsible for it later. Excessive decoration is also not good, Ra," said Asyifa. Zarra smiled gently.

"I only bought two veils, my friends," replied Zarra.

"Lha this?," pointed Amira at the huge plastic full of groceries. Zarra remained with her smile, she opened her plastic and took out one of its contents. It is a small Qur'an.

"I bought this, Amira. I bought 10 for the children's home. I'd like to donate this on behalf of my parents. So when the children read it, the reward goes to my parents" Zarra replied. Amira and Asyifa smiled in relief. Same with Fahri. Again he glanced at Zarra. He smiled meaningfully.

The clock shows at one o'clock in the afternoon. They had finished sharing in the orphanage. They also pray dzuhur with the children of the orphanage. After the orphanage, they want to stop by Tunjungan Plaza to fill the stomach as well as a short walk.

In Tunjungan Plaza they walked in tandem. Fahri was walking behind them. The food court is on the fifth floor. Riding through the escalator actually made Zarra have to hold back her fears. From the 1st floor to the 3rd floor, he didn't really feel it. When from the 3rd floor, he began to tighten the hands of Asyifa. From the 4th floor to the 5th floor, his cold sweat came out. His feet are starting to go weak. He tensed up not even daring to glance to his left right side, because once he was at high altitude, his heart would beat fast.

"Are you afraid of heights?" asked Fahri. Zarra nodded slowly. Everyone smiled with relief. They think Zarra is sick. "It's okay, Ra. If you're afraid you can hold the hand of Asyifa or Amira" Fahri added. Asyifa and Amira nodded.

"Zarra's? You here?" cried someone. Spontaneously they turned towards the source of the sound. They found Malik approaching Zarra.

"Friday again? You're afraid of heights, why come here?" said Malik. From his eyes, Zarra knew he was very worried. He and Malik never reached the top floor of the building because of Zarra's hobby of height.

"I'm the same, I want to eat here" replied Zarra soberly. He looked around, realizing there was no Kinar with Malik. "Which light?" he asked later. Malik remained silent.

"Well, we better sit down and eat together, yuk! Not good to see people here. We're on the road anyway" Fahri said. They agreed and started heading to the food court.

They took their seats together. After ordering food, they tried to chat.

"You haven't answered, which Kinar?" asked Zarra. Malik remained silent. He looked down sayu.

"Line at home, Ra. Again bed rest because abis miscarried," replied Malik. Zarra's surprised. Kinar's pregnant and now miscarried. Beersighfar.

"Keep what are you doing here? Why not nemenin Kinar anyway?" asked Amira later. Fahri kicks Amira's leg, trying to signal her not to interfere. Malik saw Amira for a moment.

"I bought him the Kinar skin and some of his equipment" Malik replied. His eyes looked back at Zarra. Zarra avoided Malik's gaze by gulping down her drink.

"Ra, about what we talked about yesterday at the bazaar, can't you consider it?" asked Malik.

"Malik, your wife just miscarried. And you intend to marry another woman? Please, Malik! Where is your empathy? Remember, Malik! Polygamy is permitted on certain grounds and conditions. Is your wife unhealthy and unable to serve you?" Zarra said. He was almost out of patience with Malik.

"The doctor said, yesterday's miscarriage made the uterus rupture so that it must be removed. My mother wanted a child from me. Please, Ra. Love me this once chance" said Malik. Zarra was shocked to hear the news.

"Sorry, Malik. I am very sad about the condition of Kinar. But replacing it to give you offspring is never in my dreams again. Malik, she's your wife, now down. He needs you by his side to defend him. The thing that he can't have any more children, is not the reason for choosing polygamy. You and Kinar can still lift a child from the orphanage. They need you more as parents" Zarra said.

"But, Ra..," Malik had not yet continued his words, Zarra again replied.

"Malik, please. Do what you're supposed to do. Love Kinar for who it is! He is the one you choose. You must be consistent with your choices. Accompany her! Don't continue your obsession anymore. Right now I don't see love in your eyes. All there is is is your obsession with me and it hurts me" Zarra said.

"Is there already another man in your heart?" asked Malik later. Zarra. This time he had to lie so Malik would stop chasing him. "Jawab, Ra!" cried Malik. Asyifa, Amira and Fahri turned their heads towards them. Fahri was about to mediate, but was prevented by Amira.

"Yes, Malik. We are currently in the process of ta'aruf. After graduation, the plan was that he would preach to me and get married. I'll go with him" replied Zarra.

"What is special about him?" asked Malik.

"Because he accompanied me and led me to emigrate, not to tell and leave me," Zarra replied half insinuating Malik. Malik nodded too. He moved out of his chair.

"Okay, I'm waiting for your invitation. Make sure after graduation you get married" Malik said. He passed by without greeting. Zarra breathed a sigh of relief. Asyifa, Amira and Fahri looked at him with their own thoughts.

"Hey, how dumb, let's eat first!," exclaimed Zarra disperse their daydreams.

"Aren't you, Ra?" asked Amira. Zarra shook her head while chewing on her fried rice. "So far as you say ta'aruf and who do you want to preach?" asked Amira again.

"Nothing. Oops! That means there's no. I lied to her just now so she can stop obsessing about me" replied Zarra. Amira smiled with relief.

"I don't want to marry because of guilt. He's not playing love anymore, it's an obsession. If she loves, she should marry me and move in together. Not to tell doang! I want, really want even some who nemenin hijrah," continued Zarra. The three of them smiled at Zarra's statement just now. The same happy smile. A smile full of good plans.
