ABHIMANYU WORLD
Chapter LXXXII: Pay the Debt

A hot meatball that was puffing smoke, accompanied our meeting by accident in the library. Actually I was full, but since Dahlia took me to eat, I served it. It's just meatballs, not heavy food. A bowl of meatballs will not gain weight significantly.

“So what are your plans after this?” ask Dahlia while adding tomato sauce to the bowl.

Now I have the meat in blackish red. Two spoons of sambal have also been mixed into one. Seeing it, I lost my taste. I don't really like spicy food. Even if forced to try, the stomach will be problematic. There was a mag disease I was suffering from, so it was a bit sensitive to spicy food.

“Yes I finished my final assignment let me pass graduation,” I replied lightly.

“Ninggalin I dong run out of it! I don't care about all the final tasks. It's up to people to say I'm a college elder, campus professor or something. The important thing is I enjoy life here.”

Dahlia spoke as if without a burden. Chewed meat pieces with pleasure. It seems I need to learn how to live life as if without such burden. Being in a little trouble I've been upset for days.

“You don't want to work, so?” ask again.

“Work? I really want to, Bi. But Mamah ngelarang. I was the only child. So mamah want me to be able to nerusin business if mamah already does not exist. The plan is we also want to open a new store near Pasar Turi. How hard it is!” Dahlia.

As soon as the meatballs ran out, his gaze turned to a long glass filled with avocado juice. I don't know how many thousands of calories we're piling today. I don't care, it's important to be healthy.

“Then why you cape-cape college if you finally nerusin parent business too. Throw money and time in my opinion,” my sergeant.

My meat bowl also started to empty. The next turn is soursop juice that looks adorable, ask to be executed immediately.

“Eh don't get me wrong! The mindset of people who go to college and who don't go to college is different. College can make our knowledge grow. We become wiser to deal with the situation, and the environment must also be different. I was lucky to be able to enjoy college. If I didn't go to college, I can't imagine..”.

“Yes you really are too. If I didn't go to college, I would clean the cowshed everyday!”

Dahlia laughs. I enjoy soursop juice that tastes sweet mixed sour. The combination is just right, so it makes me not stop sucking.

“Eh, Bi. You don't want a girlfriend?” ask Dahlia later.

The deg!

All the time I was friends with him, he rarely asked me this question, or almost never. This question makes me a little nervous. Why would he ask such a question? Is this a code? I don't want to be too confident. Although I'm sure, Dahlia would not mind being my girlfriend, but I better hold back. I'm the one who doesn't seem ready.

“Eh, I want to finish college first, Dahlia ...”

I intentionally gave a cliche answer. I know, that's the most common answer many people use to reason why they don't have a boyfriend. The original is a sad single.

“You alone?”

I sent a counterattack. Apparently my question also made him uncomfortable. He even smiled shyly. It's funny to see Dahlia like that. All his age, he just put on a jutek expression.

“I? Does anyone want to be the same as me?” dahlia.

I smiled, not knowing what to say. There's no way I'm just throwing myself away. I know that Dahlia's words are also pleasantries. He could have been betrothed to the Sultan of Brunei or a land of contention, impossible with ordinary young men like me.

I don't want to look any further into this matter. Soon we will spend what is in session. Before he could pay, I went ahead to pay. It doesn't feel good that every meal Dahlia pays. The money I got from Ms. Roffi is pretty decent, if it's just practicing meatballs is not a difficult thing. Dahlia was a bit surprised, probably because she always saw that I was a poor man who rarely had more money.

After paying the meatballs, I did not forget my debt to Dahlia.although not wrapped in an envelope, because without preparation, I just wrapped it with a piece of paper ripped off a notebook. I'll give it to him immediately.

“What is this?” ask Dahlia wonder.

“Halaaah! Don't think about it, Bi. I know you're still in college. Only if your salary is already gedhe, then you pay. I'm sincere about this. No need to!” reject Dahlia.

“Eh, I don't want Dahlia! Can't do that. You are a student too. What difference? After all, it's a debt. Unless I ask, you can refuse. I said it was a debt, so it had to be paid. I don't want to be charged in the afterlife!” my spoken.

Dahlia laughed as she said, ” Don't worry! I won't charge in the afterlife. I'm sincere!”

“No want me Dahlia! If you don't want to accept it, I don't want to owe you any more. Mending loan debt. Let a flower strangle the neck!” my force.

“OK, Bi! Because you are maksa, I accept ya. Thank you.” Dahlia accepted the money doubtfully.

“I thank you, Dahlia. Tomorrow, don't knock if I owe you again!”

“Quiet!”

After eating meatballs, I decided to go back to the rented because the day had started late in the afternoon. Dahlia also plans to return home. My feelings flowered after meeting her. Honestly speaking, the stressful work atmosphere was causing me some stress. The presence of Dahlia also gives a little color in my life, so my smile is more fluffy.

Dahlia drove me to the front of the alley by car, before she drove back to her house. Just getting out of the car, I suddenly saw the figure of Doni who seemed to have just returned from college. He smiled at me.

My hunch says, Doni will shower with painful questions or even taunts. So before entering the contract, I tried to strengthen mentally in order to stand the test of life.

As expected, my presence was greeted with a strange Doni smile, as if mocking.

“Cieee, who returned home with Aunt Dahlia!” welcome Doni.

Ha's? Aunty?

I'm no stranger to this name. Given Dahlia is popular with this title, because he is among the oldest generation on campus. I didn't respond, just pretended not to listen.

“Since when was Dahlia?” ask Doni.

“Jadian? No lah! Just friends!” kilahku.

“Friends? The hell time friend? Often I see you are very friendly with him in the library. I just got it, I didn't miss it. You are ashamed again!”

“Basic handyman!” my lament.

“Eh, sori yes! My holy eye will lose its sanctity if you look at it. You are the one who is dating do not look around. I found out in the library, even friendly!”

“Who is dating? People just chat doang!”

“Hmm.Yakin?”

“Udah ah, males. People say they just don't believe. Whatever you think! I'm cape. Want to sleep!”

Nah right?

Doni is most likely to ignite emotions. Being lazy to argue, I just left him. I went back to my room feeling bad. Want to close the eyes of the goods a minute or two.
