ABHIMANYU WORLD
Chapter XLVIII: Welcome My Independence Day!

Struggling days keep rolling down the clock. I eagerly circled the numbers on the calendar, hoping the UAS would be over soon. The end of UAS is a freedom for me. The sensation felt like the prisoner who was sentenced to hang, then released before the execution. Goodbye to the thick literature! Welcome to a happy holiday!

Welcome to my independence day!

The last day of the exam, suddenly the spirit overflowed. A few days earlier I had gone through with a near-perfect performance. The questions of the exam expire without remainder, with a probability of 90 % will get an A in each course.

I hope that.

Sometimes facts are not as good as hope. Even if it misses, hopefully not too far away, so the GPA is also not stumbling. Huge expectations, can pass with the title cum laude, so that it can present this success to mother and Weni. They are the biggest motivators in life.

After this final exam is over, it will focus more on doing the Final Task. I was sorting out and choosing the topic I was about to raise into a complicated analysis. References in the library are abundant, only my frozen brain has not been able to digest all the intricacies of the final task. Still blank, as if the stinking child who just plunged in the world of college.

Teee!

The exam time ending bell has sounded. This means I'm going to take off the shackles that have been restraining the souls for the past week. With a carefree step, I will celebrate freedom this time by eating sate madura in the central canteen located next to the library. This satay taste has been famous throughout the campus. No opponents and no matches!

“I'm Iuuut!” Dervish suddenly appeared just like that. Where did he come from? That feeling of no one behind me?

Duh, why is this one always there?

“I want to go to the library!” I said.

“Iya. I'm going there too. Must want to find a reference for TA right?” guess it.

“Iya. You got it?”

“Not yet. Still wanna take a look. I want to do an analysis of testing some of these metals,” said Darwis.

I sneered in my heart. Metal testing analysis? The mechanical value of the technique alone crawled coyly, willing to pretentiously test the metal. Even so, I still appreciate the choice.

“Good,” I don't comment much.

To be honest, I'll take Dahlia to eat satay together in the cafeteria. All of you would like to thank him for having played a big part in the sad pages of my life lately.

Unfortunately this intention I had to recant because Darwis tailed me. I sneaked out secretly to get out of his sight. I walked through the corridor near the bathroom. Just know he's showing up behind me.

Basic jelangkung!

Two servings of satay with the aroma of spices that tickle the nose presented quickly. Yellowish-brown chicken meat, with charcoal stains here and there, combined with savory peanut seasoning and onion slices. Nafsuku churned when satay convened. Almost out of control, eat with the skewers!

“Try Dahlia here,” Darwis chirps while enjoying the skewer after skewer held in front of him. Sweat when eating that food.

“Indeed why if there's Dahlia?” my fanc.

“Some of you paid us!” the answer.

I've guessed.

Yes, my free soul is actually also wild uncontrollably. Even so, I still have a limit to not lower my self-esteem. I can still mince words to pretend to treat, or to reject a treaty. Unfortunately Darwis is an example of a human being who has mortgaged self-esteem for a portion of free food. He will be frank, to the point, if he asks to be treated.

I don't want to be like him.

“Where is the holiday plan this semester?” ask Darwis.

“You're home anyway. But before I go home I want to go to Malang first. Did you get an invitation from Lusi? He wants to marry you!” my answer.

There is a sense of pain when saying this married chapter in front of Dervish. I hurriedly hid my gala, pretending to be tough in front of him.

“Lusi married? Crushed melt dong you!” darwis seringai. She was so happy that she danced on my wound.

The insolent!

“Not ordinary. It's not a soul mate! I'm still young, anyway. Want to focus on career,” I quibble.

“You can't lie to me, Bi. You have been targeting him since semester one,” continued Darwis.

I'm speechless. What Darwis said is true. Still I swore in front of him, that everything would be fine. I don't want to show my weakness.

“Pantesan you were upset yesterday fitting camp in Malang. This is the cause. Haha. Abi..Abi!” dervish Laughter.

His laugh was not good to hear. Full of abuse and degrading of my dignity. If it wasn't in the cafeteria, I'd have plugged Darwis' eyes with a skewer!

“Not to be thought of. That girl. We have been faithful, slamming self-esteem, know-tau left married. Find the others! Lots of girls. What is the name of your neighbor who called the other day?” darwis ulas.

Checkmate!

I was just speechless hearing a qualityless lecture from Darwis. Truly, the words of advice are not worth speaking from him. As far as I know, she's a much worse woman than I am. Diana was rejected once, and I don't know how many dozen more girls denied her feelings.

Drrrtt!

Drrrtt!

Darwis' phone vibrates. Immediately he lifted up and replied with some hesitation. He seemed to be uncomfortable with me being with him.

“Halo,” greet Darwis with a strange tone of voice.

Darwis's face looks agitated.

“Oh yes. I-I .. I'm on this .. anu .. I'm on my friend's side. Uh, call me later, okay? Or later let me call you,” said Darwis timidly. In a hurry, he turned off the phone call.

“From whom?” many enthusiast.

“Friends ...”

“Who?” my chase.

“Friends one kost. Take the road.”

I can't believe what he said.

Suspicion infiltrated the spaces in my brain. Obviously I smell a lie behind his eyeballs. I have never studied psychology, but I understand that people lie or cover up the truth.

Darwis just did that.

Of course, it is impossible to force him to come clean, because after all it is a realm of privacy that I must respect. Although we are close friends, there are still restrictions on each other's privacy that should not be violated. So, there's no reason to worry about it.

After lunch, we headed to the central library. The five-story building with maroon paint looks striking among the magnificent lecture buildings lined around it. The design is also unique, not like the library building in general. The location is also right in the middle of the campus complex, so it becomes one of the campus icons that are quite interesting.

Using the elevator, we arrived at the fourth floor, a place where the final task group was neatly archived. That day, there were not many visitors in the library. Perhaps holiday euphoria has resonated throughout the campus, so students are tired of lingering in this area.

I actually am too. Want to immediately step home to the contract, and pay off all the tiredness caused a week before. Tired physically and mentally. Want to immediately drown in the legendary sheath, close my eyes, pull out my butut radio and listen to romantic music until morning.

No one can disturb.

“There is an idea?” tanya Darwis while opening the final task collection wrapped in dust because it is rarely opened.

“I can't concentrate,” I replied honestly.

“Same. I just want a vacation for now,” continued Darwis.

“Continue why are we here huh?” I closed the final task book I opened.

“Lah, I'll follow you!”

“Not to follow! Lest I smash a well, you come too. I want to go home!”

The conclusion is, a visit to the library this time is really not useful. For almost an hour we were just hanging around uselessly, circling from one shelf to another with no apparent purpose. I don't know, my mind is split everywhere. Can't focus.

Maybe miss the love.
