ABHIMANYU WORLD

ABHIMANYU WORLD
Chapter LXVIII: Late Night Guest

Days change, weeks change. I haven't felt like I've been in the world of work for almost a month. At first it was a bit difficult to set the schedule, now I am getting used to it. No more stories have to run around chasing employee transportation, because every minute I have calculated neatly. I managed to use my time efficiently. Likewise with the work in the office. Almost everything can be solved well. This time my management science went according to plan.

Of course, this invites admiration Bu Roffi. At a young age, I managed to invite seniors who were more doomed than working. Even blatantly, on various occasions, Ms. Roffi praised me in front of the meeting. The woman spoke aloud with great dignity in front of her subordinates.

“I am very proud of Mas Abhimanyu, he is still young but shows high dedication and work ethic for our company. I hope this can be a role model for everyone. And we also have to dare to admit, it turns out there are still many shortcomings that must be corrected. We must thank Mas Abi a lot,” said Bu Roffi.

Hearing all the compliments, it did not immediately make me raise my head. In fact I was more downcast in embarrassment, as some seniors seemed less than happy with the compliment. Thus, when liver disease thrives, the heart will be blinded when the truth is displayed before the eyes.

I myself do not understand what Bu Roffi means to praise it all out in front of other employees. Perhaps, he wanted to whip up the spirit of other employees who had been slipping like crackers left in open spaces overnight. Or maybe there's some other meaning behind it?

I don't know.

At one time, Ms. Roffi again called me in her room that scented as fragrant as jasmine flowers. Actually, I don't really like this scent, instead of fragrant, it's scary. As usual, I looked down more embarrassed, handsome, and did not move much. Bu Roffi's gaze was as sharp as an arrow that directly hit my heart.

“I can't wait for you to graduate, Bi.” Bu Roffi said with a meaningful smile.

“Just pray soon huh, Mom!” I beg.

“There's a certainty, Bi. If you graduate, don't apply for a job elsewhere. Your name will be recommended to the board of directors. Definitely escaped. Even later you will be asked how much salary you want, will definitely be granted. There are not many young people who have strong and dedicated intrigue like you!” Again Ms. Roffi praised, making me soar.

I fear that all praise will be ignored, and the ends will be thrown down. There is a sense of pride and pleasure.

Imagine that!

I haven't graduated, but I've been booked well in advance. At first glance, I feel like a valuable item that must be identified before being purchased. It's okay, it's a pride in itself.

That afternoon, after I finished my prayers and lunch, I was ready at the computer for work. Whereas some other employees prefer to chat, while playing solitaire or mahjong games on the computer. Obviously I can't replicate it, because it's a bad culture. No matter they dub looking face or pretentious. I'm just trying to follow the rules.

“Free you like that! Salary here is nothing but hard work. Better to relax first. Miss Roffi's section does not concern us,” chatter Mr. Imron while sipping coffee.

To find it safe, I better not respond. Better to focus on my own work without caring about Mr. Imron's words. Here, I don't get a salary, but that's not what I'm after. A lot of experience and knowledge that I have to dig deep here, so that later I will not be surprised when navigating the real world of work. I will not waste a second of my time, let alone have to take care of people with a negative mindset like Mr. Imron.

The only negative effect I felt after dabbling in this world of work, I became more easily tired. After work, I had no more energy to hang out with my friends. Usually after bathing, eating, praying, immediately go to sleep. There is no time to socialize with the world around you.

Sometimes if there's more time, I call my mom, just ask her the news and make sure she's okay.

“Nitip greetings with Mbak Dahlia if you meet yes, Bi!” said mother.

“Sometimes rarely met, Mom. I now practice work, home is night, cape to contract, go straight to sleep.” I reasoned.

“Never call?”

“Never, Mak. Rarely.”

“Sama Laras also never?”

“Ya. Its nothing. Take care of yo Bi's health! Do not forget to drink turmeric herbal medicine if there is,” order mom.

“Siap Mak!”

My mother's words made me think of Dahlia. How's things? Did the diet work? One more thing I remember, my debts had already piled up on Dahlia. It doesn't feel good to meet him, or pretend to call but still have debt dependents. So more I let it go. I'd better save up first so I can pay back my debts to him.

May Allah give Dahlia more abundant sustenance, so that I may not be confused if I need a fresh injection of funds.

These eyes were already preparing to shut when suddenly the room door was knocked. Definitely Doni. Why is it always so? Can't the meeting be postponed tomorrow? Right now I really need a break.

“What the hell is Don?” I said with a little annoyance.

“There's a rush!” answer Doni.

I open the phone screen, time shows at 22:12. It was not a good time to visit. I'm sure this guest has never been taught your ethics. 21:00 is the final deadline for a visit.

“Say I'm asleep, Don!”

“Casian, Bi. Girls!” said Doni again.

Ha's? A chick?

These nights have women been visiting? I guessed, who's the woman who was desperate to find me this late at night? I hope his feet are still on the ground.

“Who?” ask again.

“I don't have his name anyway. Never seen it like.” Doni explained.

I had no choice but to meet him. Given the messy face, I had to wash my face to make it look fresher. Moreover, the guest is a woman, can not appear careless. I wet my hair with a little water so as not to impress just waking up.

Curious too, who's meeting this late. Especially a woman. This late time usually they are already asleep in their dreams. Maybe if men stay up more often, there are topics that are discussed until late at night. Especially if accompanied by coffee, gaple or cigarettes. Until the early morning was certainly strong for this one business.

I met a female guest who seemed familiar. Her face was sad, a little pale with thinly-mixed makeup. I was a little surprised I saw it. He doesn't usually come on contract. My feeling is that something bad happened. I wanted to sit inside, but it wasn't good. It's unethical to put women night and night in a rented environment.

“You sit inside?” tawerku.

“Here only!” He refused.

Thank goodness!
