A HEART THAT IS STILL TRAPPED IN THE PAST

A HEART THAT IS STILL TRAPPED IN THE PAST
Ordinary Day

A few days later it was Monday, a routine activity in the morning was the flag ceremony. The sun was a little high, we were standing in line, until the time when the ceremonial leader announced something.

We were standing in the sun, the headmaster announced about the achievements that our school had achieved last week. Boys basketball got first place in yesterday's race.

Badminton's ex-excule earns second for son and third for daughter. I was amazed at them, as I saw the participating names being called to come forward.

I smiled as I watched Brother Leon is one of the names mentioned, Brother Leon is cool, last year Brother Leon managed to enter third for badminton son.

Now that he was scraping for achievements again, I felt my hair slowly being pulled gently by someone. I turned to the left side and began to cringe.

“What's up? ” I asked Melvin who was standing right beside me.

“Stop showing off that smile of yours, ” She replied

Huh huh? “Why? ”

“You make someone's mood bad, ” he explained.

‘Indeed what have I done?’ ask myself, why do I feel like people are starting to set me up to smile at whom?

I then thought for a moment and then I tried to turn to Indira who was right behind me but failed because Indira had already whispered to me first.

“Do not move, you can attract the attention of the teachers.”

“What happened in the back? Why did Melvin say I should stop smiling?”

“Don't think about it, he just wants to harass you. Actually, Daren's a little dizzy and you've been moving left right.”

“Oh, I'm sorry. I won't move again.”

After a while, the ceremony was over. I did not expect that the art field would only obtain third place due to being disqualified from the last race session.

The teacher said that at that time Dian was suddenly unconscious, while the race had to be conducted by two teams who took part in the race. my friend said that the committee would not allow to find a replacement.

After arriving at the class, we sat down at our place and waited for the teacher to come. I looked at Daren's back, then I opened my bag and took the eucalyptus oil.

He turned around and looked at me lazily, his face a bit red. I think he's really not feeling well. He asked me, “What's up?”

I thrust eucalyptus oil, “Wear it, I hope you feel better.”

He looked at me with no intention of responding, I sighed then grabbed his hand and placed the eucalyptus oil bottle in his hand.

“Just use it, tell me if you need anything else. I think I have a wind repel too, ” after saying so I smiled, not forgetting I touched his forehead to check his body temperature.

“I think you need a break, your face looks flushed, your temperature goes up but hey... Are you hot cold?”

“Hey, stop that. Teacher has arrived, ” Indira reminds me.

Then I heard Kris a little like saying: “Be sure you will definitely not be able to sleep tonight.”

“Be quiet.”

The lesson continued as usual, until the break rang. The teacher came out and we started packing our books. I saw Daren stay in his seat, only closing his eyes and reluctant to leave.

“Ella, aren't you going to the cafeteria?” I heard Indira ask.

“Can I just drop it? I was reluctant to go out, I was waiting for someone too. ”

“Then I'll be right back, come on Kris, you'll definitely buy food for her too, right? ”

“Ah, uhm. ”

“Who are you waiting for?” Ask Daren.

“Why are you asking?” I looked at him whose face was getting closer to mine.

“I'm waiting for you. Of course I'm kidding, I'll take care of you until school.”

Daren then rounded her eyes wide, looked at me then she smiled slightly. I don't know what's going on, but why would I love to see him smile?

The air around me felt warmer, her hands raised and then she gently stroked my head. I wanted to close my eyes, but the sound of someone shouting my name outside the classroom made us stare.

Daren then said, “Didn't you just say you'd look after me until school?” his face looked so cute again.

“I really don't know, they suddenly came alone.”

I said them because they are indeed more than two, both of them are Raka and Kak Leon. They impolitely walked into our classrooms and sat around empty chairs.

Our class is quiet, there are only a few residents. I felt the aura around so unpleasant, what is this. Is it just my feelings or are the three of them communicating through the eyes.

“Sister Leon, Raka what are you doing in my class?”

“I just want to see you, is that wrong? I haven't seen you in a long time,” Brother Leon first replied.

Then you! I glanced at Raka.

“I came to want to apologize for not being able to occupy the first place as I said.”

I was a little surprised, then recalled what would happen if Raka managed to get first place. I've also forgotten what he asked me for if he made it.

“Alright, now you can go. daren is sick so can not hear the noise. ”

“Hah? Did you kick us out?”.

“I don't mean sister, look daren must feel very dizzy hearing our noise, see her face even so red. Just contact me via kak.”

“Aduh... ” I saw Daren touch his head and his eyes a little watery.

Brother Leon stood up then glanced at me for a moment, I so asked why all prang like to stroke my head? I'm not a puppy or a rabbit or a cat.

“I'm grateful you're insensitive Ella.”

I glanced at Raka and Daren then asked after Leon's brother left the class, “What does he mean insensitively?”

“That means you have trouble understanding the situation, ” Indira's voice is heard from the door, she is back with food in her hands.

“What do you mean?” I asked back.

“Already, don't say it again, good for you means you're immature and still plain.”

Hey, come on. I'm even four months older than you.

“That's right, which is why I don't want to be frank. She is still not so small and her age is also immature.”

What does it mean to be honest? Can any of you explain this to me? What are you guys talking about? I looked at Kris who immediately threw away her face and Raka who had stood up from her seat prepared to leave.

“That's right, I also won't be forthright until she understands about it.”

Oi! Am I the only one who doesn't understand here?

What have you been hiding from me!
