CHAPTER 61: THE WATER DRAGON

All the spectators stood up from their seats full of curiosity, even the 3 power heads in Talper Province who were always quietly sitting on their seats stood up. Especially Yun Getian, however Vann was fighting his son.

Yun Getian felt worried, he could feel how terrifying Vann's attack just now was. Although Yun Getian could stop Vann's water dragon easily because his cultivation was higher, but Yun Tian was definitely not that strong to stop Vann's water dragon so easily.

When everyone was curious, the white smoke that covered the arena began to rapidly open up.

In front of everyone's shocked eyes, the figure of a water dragon emerged from behind the open white smoke.

Hearing Renzou's words, the panicked Yun Getian immediately took a breath.

After part of his panic disappeared, Yun Getian looked back at the water dragon

With the strength of his mid-level cultivator, Yun Getian was able to watch over the water dragon that Vann had formed without any problems.

Under his observation, Yun Getian discovers that Vann's water dragon only bites his son's clothes.

Vann who was on the stage observed all of that carefully, he controlled his strength as best he could to not kill Yun Tian.

Yun Tian fell hard to the ground, his entire body wet from the rainwater.

Whether it was Vann or everyone observing Yun Tian's body lying still on the ground, Githa tried to step forward to ascertain whether Yun Tian was still able to continue the fight.

Yun Tian gnashed his teeth full of determination, he paid no heed to the pain in his entire body in the slightest.

"How could I Yun Tian lose? No, I can't lose! My father was Yun Getian, the strongest person in Talper Province. As his son, I must not disappoint my father!", said Yun Tian who tried to stand up.

But no matter how hard he tried to stand, Yun Tian always fell down which showed he could not fight anymore.

Do not look at Yun Tian who was not much injured or bleeding, actually because of the water dragon attack just now, almost all of the bones in his body were broken until he had difficulty standing up.

Hasel who was observing all of that sighed, he knew that even though Yun Tian was trying his best to keep fighting but he had lost.

Therefore, Hasel stepped forward. He plans to tell Githa to stop the match as soon as possible.

But without waiting for Hasel to make a move, Yun Getian who was in the audience room finally made a move.

Yun Getian stood in front of Githa as he said "Miss Githa, stop this fight! My son can't fight anymore, Yun Tian lost".

"Dad, I haven't lost! I can't disappoint you Dad! I-" Yun Tian tried to continue the fight stubbornly.

But suddenly Yun Getian shouted "Tian, that's enough! Even though you didn't win and disappointed me a little, the strong man must accept his defeat! I will not be disappointed because you lost, but make this defeat a lesson. Have you not recently become arrogant because people call you invincible? Yun Tian who was trying to resist started to stop upon hearing his father's words, Yun Tian slowly fell to the ground and lost his consciousness.

As Yun Tian lost his consciousness, Githa shouted "The monthly match of the Qi Gathering's Talper Province stage is over! The winner was Vann Thorne from the Wood Sword Academy!".

"Vann! Vanns! Vanns! Vanns! Vann!", the crowd's cries echoed throughout the arena, some of them continuously shouting while some others clapped.

Yun Getian let the other Yun family members carry Yun Tian's body away for treatment, on the other hand he walked up to Vann.

At first Vann thought Yun Getian must be angry or said he would avenge his son, but Vann did not think Yun Getian gave a friendly smile to himself "Your name is Vann? It seems like the Wood Sword Academy has 1 more talented child that can replace your old academy head, Zerten. Son Vann, thank you! Lately Yun Tian was unable to find an opponent capable of competing with him so he became arrogant, it caused his development to slow down".

"But with you, Yun Tian must have become even more spirited in order to defeat you. Son Vann, I hope you keep competing against Yun Tian and make friends with him as well. I think calling you Vann the Water Dragon is quite suitable for now".

Yun Getian was being polite, so Vann bowed "Thank you, Senior Getian! If there was a chance, I would definitely try to become friends with Yun Tian".

Yun Getian nodded, he did not speak anymore and got off the arena. Although he knew Yun Tian was still alive, but as a father then he must be worried.

The cry of Vann the Water Dragon resounded throughout the arena. After this match, Vann's name must have spread to everyone in Talper Province.
