CHAPTER 3: HANDKERCHIEF

"Go soon! All students please leave school as soon as possible, don't panic and take your line of friends! All students will be evacuated in an orderly manner, do not panic!", shouted a teacher in the schoolyard, the students lined up as he said and left the school for shelter.

Vann is currently lined up at the back with Anto and Sania, they were located the furthest from the school gates so they were also the last group of people to be able to evacuate except for the teachers who would not escape before all the students left.

While Vann and Anto are busy talking about what really happened, Sania is busy looking for an item in her bag "None! My handkerchief is not in the bag!".

Seeing Sania's panicked face, Anto as her male partner couldn't help but ask "Sweep hands? You mean that handkerchief you always carry? Maybe left in class, we can take it back later after the monster attack is over or if the handkerchief is gone though, we can buy a new one".

"You don't understand at all!", said Sania angrily "The handkerchief is the thing my mother gave me! I have to check out the song in class, you guys can go to the shelter first! I'll chase you later".

Without waiting for answers from Vann and Anto again, Sania runs back to the classroom to look for her handkerchief.

Vann and Anto were a little speechless, they had been friends for a long time so they knew that Ms. Sania had been out of this world from 5 years ago due to illness. Therefore, they also very much understood how valuable the handkerchief her mother had given Sania.

After staring at each other, Vann and Anto nodded then chased after Sania.

How could they let a woman go by herself like that? Moreover, they had been friends for more than 10 years, they already felt like brother and sister so could not leave each other. Although Vann is not Sania's partner like Anto, he already considers Sania as his sister as well.

Some teachers certainly saw the movement of 3 students who returned to the school, but they did not have time to stop the 3 students because Vann and the others left too suddenly.

Gritting his teeth, the teachers did not dare to take any more risks. However the sound of the evacuation alarm got bigger which meant that the monsters were already very close, they had no interest in losing their lives just because of the 3 little-known disciples.

Running towards the classroom, Vann and Anto find Sania who is already in front of her desk. He checked the desk drawer before shouting "Meet!".

"Have you met?" said Anto who ran up to Sania "Then let's quickly grab that handkerchief, we should get out of here before the monsters come.

Vann did not go to class but remained standing in front of the classroom door to find out when the monsters had come to attack.

Before they could leave here, a sound of collision sounded from the classroom.

"Shelf!".

Along with the sound of the collision, Vann could hear the screams of Anto and Sania that let him know that something had happened "What's wrong?".

When he looked towards the classroom, Vann's face froze.

The sound of the loud crash was the sound of the broken window glass.

Now in the classroom, there were Anto and Sania who were sitting scared on the ground.

In front of the 2 people, there was a bull standing like a human.

This creature looks like a human, but it has a bull's head and brown skin.

Among the monsters, there is a Minotaur who is a bull-headed figure and has a human-like body.. Compared to humans, the Minotaur had a much more terrifying strength, only cultivators could deal with it.

The minotaur stared at Anto and Sania, a cruel smile appearing on his face "Who thinks that I'm not too late? It turns out that there is still human flesh to eat today, I am really lucky! There is no need to fear a human child, uncle is by no means a cruel person! Uncle just needs your meat to eat".

The minotaur held up the giant sword in his hand, ready to slash Anto and Sania and eat them.

Seeing this, Vann began to think quickly.

Without any hesitation, Vann took the broom that was in the corner of the classroom.

He broke the wooden broomstick until only a sharp stick remained, after which Vann rushed forward towards the Minotaur.

Vann had no idea what had happened to him and why he who had never fought could have the courage to fight a monster like this, but what Vann knows is that his body moves on its own against this monster.

"Yeah! Die, monster!", cried Vann who thrust a slightly sharp broomstick into the Minotaur's body.

"Stabs!".

The broomstick actually managed to pierce the Minotaur's body, blood falling on the area where the Minotaur's body was pierced.

It seemed that this Minotaur in front of them was the weakest Minotaur so even Vann who was not a cultivator could still injure him.

The Minotaur was a little surprised that this normal human who was still immature could injure him, the Minotaur's eyes fell onto Vann's body "Very interesting, I changed my mind now! There is a better flesh than human flesh, that is, human flesh that has a warrior-like attitude. I've decided, I'll eat you first!".

Vann was not surprised that this stick-stabbing could not inflict a fatal wound on the Minotaur, he only saw the friend beside him as "Anto, what are you doing? Quickly take Sania away from here, while I can still hold off the enemy!".

The frightened Anto regained his senses, he stared at Vann before nodding firmly.

If they continue here, they can't give Vann any help either.

Therefore, Anto drew Sania's hand which was still shocked to the point of not being able to speak and walked away from here "Vann, I must have called back for help to come here, to, you have to survive until then! I must have found a great cultivator who helped you".

As Vann looked at Anto and Sania who were leaving, there was a hint of loneliness in his eyes.

Although Vann was the one who told them to leave, but if it was Vann, then he would not go but help his friend.

Like what happened to Anto and Sania before, as long as Vann decided to escape at the expense of those 2 friends, Vann would still be alive.

"Don't worry" said the smiling Minotaur and slashing its giant sword towards Vann "I'll kill you soon so you don't have to feel lonely anymore!".
