25 Years of Father

Vacationing

On a happy day we all gathered in the house of mom and dad. All his brothers and wife were there to stay for a few days. I can see how the face of the father who was so excited even he invited my two brothers to see some of the locations of the land that the father managed to make palm oil. Well, in my birthplace is indeed a very large investment opportunity to grow oil palm. Every guest who came to visit my father was so excited to introduce my two brothers who are his children. This is the first time a father has had a visit from his two children. Although it was actually very dear when one of my brothers could not attend. But I understand because even there my mother was sick and no one could take care of her other than the last brother.

However, plans this morning for a vacation to the island were suddenly tense when brother number one asked permission to go home this morning as well. His work that can not be left makes my brother confused. He didn't want to be angry for such a short time, but on the other hand he had a responsibility that he couldn't stay whenever he wanted.

"Can't you come home tomorrow? Your father will be angry again." Mama looks scared. Because brother number one and father do have an equally hard attitude. I can also tell what you feel after this when you hear your brother who will come home without coming with us for a vacation.

"I have to go home this morning, Mom. Work is waiting there. I'm thankful I could have permission yesterday for a good marriage." Hearing brother's words, mom just kept quiet. He didn't know what to say to Dad.

Because we all know how you're angry. And the mother who as a bridge for brother and father to speak will certainly not be easy to convey the words of brother to father. I can't go wrong if I don't want to make you mad.

It was sad when we were going on vacation two brothers who could not come. I thought at my wedding this was the only way we could spend time together. The age of the father is no longer young, that makes me always think I want to feel crowded at his side with us all gathered. Honey, all my plans just stay plans without being able to materialize because my brothers are all adults and certainly have their own responsibilities for their future.

This time we left only one family with brother number two and two brothers-in-law who came too. The face of the father who had been happy since yesterday now seemed to reflect. I know dad must have missed all three brothers so much to be with him in old age. Because when they were kids, all the dads didn't have the money to visit them often.

All along we crossed the island at a speed all so cheerful. The paternal granddaughter of the first bang was really funny and for a moment I forgot the weight of her mind. For one exhausting day not once did I see my father have a heart relapse. I know this must be thanks to my happy father's heart.

We seemed to capture the moment along the way until finally the speed we were riding arrived on a very beautiful island. Coconut trees that stand tall neatly lined up add to the beauty of the island. The clear water felt so pampering the eyes.
