“Or at least be friends with me again,” suggested Niko again.

Laura nodded. “Good. You can be my friend.” After what Niko did for her, Laura felt Niko deserved her wish.

Niko laughed happily. “Really? Thank you, Laura. You've made me really happy today.” Niko really wants more than just friends, but at least being Laura's friend can be the beginning of their relationship.

“Laura has an order..” was a waiter interrupted Laura and Niko's conversation.

Niko smiled. “I'll go now. Emoga your work smoothly.” “You too,” reply Laura.

“You found the ring.” Uki sees her gift star ring on Laura's left hand as Laura returns home to the apartment.

Laura shows her fingers for a while to Uki. “Yes. I found it in the kitchen of the restaurant.

I must have let go while washing my cookware.” Uki smiled thinly. “You still have to go back to the restaurant tonight?” Laura nodded.

Laura woke up with extreme pain in her right knee. Body's sweating. He took his antisick medication, but it seemed that the effect of the drug was only temporary. Laura knew there must be a problem with her leg. In the room he tried not to scream in pain and woke Luki up. Laura needs to see Doctor Riswan.

In the morning, when Laura woke up, Luki had already left for the actor. Laura called Doctor Riswan to make an appointment. An hour later, Laura was in the hospital.

Laura doesn't particularly like the smell of the hospital, as it reminds her of her accident. Doctor Riswan smiled kindly as Laura entered his practice room. Laura began to explain the pain in her leg.

“ how long has it been?” ask Dr. Riswan.

“ for a few weeks, Doc. I don't know when to start. Initially just feel tired, then cramp, and now antisakit drugs can only temporarily relieve.”

Doctor Riswan looks worried, and decides to examine Laura's right leg thoroughly. Two hours later, Laura returned to the practice room to listen to her foot exam. When she saw Doctor Riswan's gloomy face, Laura concluded that the results of the examination were not good.

“Your leg has an infection again.” Doctor Riswan looked at Laura.

“Is it very severe?” ask Laura. Inwardly, he was completely desperate to hear that explanation.

Doctor Riswan nodded. “You have to have surgery again, Laura.” “When?” asked Laura lirih.

“ ecepat. I suggest this week. Fast is better. If the infection spreads everywhere, the condition of your feet will become worse, and you will experience tremendous pain.”

Laura could not breathe. “Is with surgery, my legs can be normal again?”

Doctor Riswan showed the results of the examination of Laura's feet and looked at it seriously. “ aya will try as hard as possible so that your foot surgery succeeds.”

“And if the operation is not successful..?” laura said slowly. Tears have filled his eyes. “If the infection is too severe?” Doctor Riswan was silent.

Doctor Riswan sighed slowly. “ aya will try so that it does not happen. You have to be optimistic, Laura.”

Doctor Riswan looked at Laura sadly. “If the infection is severe, I am forced to amputate your leg. But that's the last way. Your leg must be operated on immediately. Because if left too long, the possibility of infection will get worse. I'll tell your father.”

Laura shakes. “Do not. Please don't tell Papa. Not today.”

“Laura, you must be operated on as soon as possible,” Doctor Riswan insisted. “Your family needs to know. You need their support for your operation.”

Laura stands up from her chair. “ aya knows. But don't tell them today. Aya will tell them tomorrow. After that I was ready for surgery. Please give me some time. I beg you, Doctor.”

Doctor Riswan nodded. “Good. But if tomorrow you don't come to the hospital, I will definitely contact your father. I can't keep something this important from him. He has been my good friend since two years ago.”

Laura nodded. He came out of the hospital in a daze. He was sitting at one of the bus stops. His hand touched his right leg. Maybe today is his last day he can use his right foot. Laura was crying. He did not want to lose his right leg. He wanted to stand with both feet in the kitchen and do his job.

After her crying subsided, Laura washed her face in the public toilet. His eyes are still a little red. But he will not miss this day with sadness. He will do his job in the kitchen of the restaurant. It was probably the last time he could stand on both feet.

Luki Rafael was thinking hard in her study. The clock is at 12:00. It's lunch time. Heart's fidgeting. His mind was filled with Laura's face. He still can't decide about his sister's relationship with Niko.

On the way to the apartment, Luki sent an SMS to Niko.

Meet me at the apartment tennis court.

An hour later, Niko sees Luki hitting the ball from the throwing machine. Niko doesn't know why Luki made her come to the tennis court all of a sudden. But judging from the message, it seems very important.

“You asked me to come.” Niko walked over to Luki.

“You play tennis, Niko?” uki looked at Niko coldly.

“Sometimes,” replied Niko. He still did not understand why Luki told him to come here.

“Come against me.” Uki does not let Niko respond and starts serving the ball towards him. Niko reflexively returns the tennis ball Luki hit.
