CHAPTER 37

Luki took the wallet out of her pants pocket and paid for the drink. Her mood was still chaotic, but she decided to go home to her apartment. He entered his car parked in front of the pub, and was about to start his car when another car hit the rear right edge of his car.

His heart is getting upset. He got out of the car. “You didn't see my car?!” His impact. “My car lights to dents like this. Let's get some restitution!”

The other car driver with a violent face snapped back. “Enak. Car's busted. You're the one with the indemnity!”

Luki knew the person was guilty. The engine of the car has not been turned on. Seeing the look of the creepy person with tattoos all over the body, most people will be afraid. But Luki is not afraid, because she believes she is innocent.

“Your car hit me. I haven't even started my car. If you want to find a peekara, we better finish it with the help of the police alone,” Luki challenged the person.

The tattooed man was half dead. “Do you not know who I am?”

The tattooed man's friend who was in the car got out, and two other friends who were riding motorcycles approached.

“I don't care who you are. You hit my car. You have to pay compensation,” Luki insisted. His ugly mood grew worse with this incident.

The tattooed man laughed a short laugh. “You should know who I am. I'm the chief thug of the area here. You must have money. Your car is so good. You must be a rich man. You're gonna pay for my car. Now also.”

Luki looked at the head thug in annoyance. “I won't pay a dime to a jerk like you.”

“You dare insult me?” Ask the chief thug upset. His men began to take a swing to support his boss.

Luki looked at the people in front of her.(“four against one”) she said inwardly as she clenched both hands.(“I've had worse fights. Maybe I can get all my anger out in a fight this time. Nice too. I haven't fought for a long time)”.

The head thug attacked Luki first. Luki lowered her head to avoid the fist that was pointing at her face, then attacked back by punching the head of the thug's nose until it bled. The thug leader's men were startled, and went straight ahead against Luki. But they all suffered the same fate. Luki moved her head to stretch her muscles.

Seeing the roadside fights, people stopped to swarm the area around the pub. The pub manager came out and started calling the police station. When the four thugs stood back up, they were forced to retreat. Too many people have seen them. The police will be here soon.

Luki went back to her car and turned it on. Shortly before leaving the pub, he pulled back his car and hit the front of the thug leader's car, then ignored his hand from the car's glass door.

The head thug is upset not playing around to see Luki's behavior. He had one of his men who had a motorcycle follow Luki from behind.

“Follow him,” shouted the head thug at his men. “Don't get out! I wonder where that jerk lives. He will regret later for insulting and beating me up. No one can escape my anger. Go!!!” The man followed his boss' orders.

Laura regrets Luki's absence, but she also knows that Luki needs time to accept them as a family. Laura just hoped that time wasn't too long. Maybe tonight he can persuade mom to sleep with him in this room. In the future most likely mama will be busy by papa. As Laura got up from her bed, her hand accidentally nudged a box of chocolates. The box was splattered out.

Laura picked up the cards that were scattered on the floor. His hand stopped after taking a few cards. His gaze focused on one of the greeting cards that opened the envelope. Laura opened the card. It turned out to be a birthday card with pictures of clowns and balloons adorning its front. When he saw the contents, Laura was stunned. Finished reading that one card, Laura picked up another and read it. Not long after, all the cards were read.

Laura tidied up all the cards, put them back in the box and took the box out of her house.

Luki turned on her apartment's living room lights. She got Laura's DNA test. He hasn't opened it yet. He could not stop the anxiety that had lingered in his heart since the test results were in his hands.

After looking at the brown envelope for a while, Luki finally tore the envelope and saw the results. She needs to know if Laura is really her father's biological daughter. Otherwise, Luki would have done everything she could to make Laura and her mother never see her and her father again. But if so, that's the problem. Luki doesn't know what to do.

Not long after, he squeezed the test results. His worst fears have been proven. Laura's papa's biological son. Her step-sister.

The doorbell of his apartment sounded. Luki stood up and opened the door. The face of the stepbrother appeared there. “Do you want to come here again?” Ask annoyed. It's been a few days that Laura's been trying to see him. As hard as Luki threw her away, Laura always came back again the next day.

“Can I log in?” Laura looked at her brother's eyes in earnest.

Luki. “No.” Luki's hand was getting ready to close the door again, but Laura stopped her. “Listen to me first. I want to give you something. After that I'll go.”

Luki smiled wryly. “What do you want to do? Your cuisine? So I can accept you as my sister?”

Laura delivered the chocolate box in her hand to Luki. “Open and read the cards in it. Mama loves you. He never forgot you. Every year I buy a birthday card for you. Give my mom a chance to love me now. Make my mama your family.” Laura's tears flowed down her cheeks.

Luki was untouchable. He took the box of chocolate out of Laura's hand. “Good, I've taken it. Now you're gone. I don't want to see you again.”

The apartment door was closed. Laura walked away. He pushed the elevator button slowly. Shortly thereafter the elevator took her downstairs.
