Yup! I Love You, Sir!

Yup! I Love You, Sir!
The Part 67

Because Jonah is worried that if Olivia does not get him to sleep, Jonah does not want anyone to carry him, other than Olivia.

Neither Jericho nor his nanny, who was about to take it from Olivia, rejected Jonah outright.

Thus, since getting out of Jericho's car, Olivia was the one who carried Jonah, until he entered his room.

"Miss! ... If Miss isn't busy working, will Miss go out with me again?" jonah asked, after Olivia made him lie on his bed.

"Of course!" olivia answered, pulling the blanket, so that it could close up to Jonah's chest.

"Don't go home yet, Miss?! Wait till I fall asleep" said Jonah.

"Now! ... Jonah's request, is an order to me" Olivia said, smiling broadly.

"Sit here, Miss!" Jonah patted, next to him, on his bed.

"Okay!" Olivia complied with Jonah's request, and seemed to not assume the existence of Jericho there, who stood looking at Olivia and Jonah.

Olivia rubbed Jonah's head, until the boy finally closed his eyes.

Olivia almost stood up thinking that Jonah was asleep, but suddenly Jonah opened his eyes again, and said,

"Miss! ... Can you sing a lullaby?"

"Pffit...!" Olivia laughed restrainedly, feeling that she had been deceived by Jonah.

Olivia then thought of a lullaby, which she still remembered. "Hm ... Waita minute!"

When Olivia recalled The Itsy Bitsy Spider, she began singing it in her half-whispering voice.

"The itsy bitsy spider, climbed up the waterspout ... Down came the rain, and washed the spider out...."

After the song was sung by Olivia, Jonah seemed to have fallen asleep.

Slowly, Olivia gets down from Jonah's bed, and Jericho immediately turns off the table lamp, then walks out of Jonah's room with Olivia.

"You sound good" Jericho said, after Olivia and herself were outside, and Jonah's bedroom door was closed.

"Please! ... Don't tease me, sir!" sahut Olivia, ketus.

"Pff.ht...! I just want to praise you, but you don't seem to like compliments" Jericho said.

Olivia glanced briefly at Jericho, then looked straight ahead again, as she continued walking.

When Olivia and Jericho were going down the stairs, Jericho said,

"Would you like a cup of tea with me, before I take you home?"

"It's up to you, sir," replied Olivia.

Jericho then takes Olivia, to go with him into his study.

And while waiting for the worker at Jericho's house to deliver his tea, Olivia was allowed by Jericho to look around inside the room.

Some of the tall cabinets that almost touched the ceiling of the room, filled with books, until the place looks similar to the library.

Looking at the titles, some of the books, very interesting Olivia, because the books are included in the rare category, and of course will have a very expensive price.

So even though Olivia was very interested to see the contents of the book, but Olivia felt hesitant to touch it.

Suddenly, Jericho's hand reached out from behind, then passed through the side of Olivia's face, making Olivia, who felt surprised, hurriedly turn around.

Because Olivia's movements were like a person who was panicking, so accidentally Olivia's face leaned on Jericho's chest.

Olivia moved back, but because the gap was only a little, with just a step, Olivia was already leaning in the bookcase.

"M—forgive me, sir," said Olivia, trying to overcome her heartbeat, which now feels irregular.

With his arms still outstretched, on the side of Olivia's face, Jericho seemed to smile broadly, then said,

"It's okay ... It seems I'm just surprising you."

Jericho then presented a book that had been viewed by Olivia.

Thus, Olivia then thought, if the sudden movement of Jericho, it was only because he wanted to get the book for Olivia.

Although Olivia already knew, what Jericho really did, but Olivia's chest still pounding.

So Olivia had thought that if the sound of her heartbeat, it might be heard by Jericho, in the quiet room.

"You can take it, if you want to see it," Jericho said, staring fixedly at Olivia.

Steadily standing in front of Olivia, and thrusting the book she was holding, towards Olivia, Jericho still developed a smile on his face.

"Thank you, sir," said Olivia, accepting the book, and trying to avoid Jericho.

But before Olivia could make a move, Jericho held her back, holding both sides of Olivia's shoulder, and directed her to turn around, facing the bookcase again.

Blowing from Jericho, can be felt between Olivia's hair, to touch the scalp.

Therefore, Olivia realized that Jericho meant standing a very close distance behind her, and even almost leaning from the back of Olivia.

Olivia's heart pumping her blood too fast, making Olivia's face hot, so she could not concentrate, to see the title of the books in front of her again.

"This book is my favorite. I've read it many times."

As Jericho told his favorite book, and pointed it with his hand extended to the bookcase, touching the book he was referring to, Jericho seemed to move forward.

So finally, Olivia could feel that Jericho's body had been in contact, with the back of Olivia's body.

Fortunately, even if it only lasts for a short time, but the situation that Olivia thinks feels very awkward, can end.

Because at that very moment, there was a voice of someone who seemed to enter Jericho's workroom, then told Jericho, if their drinks were ready.

Because of the worker's arrival at Jericho's house, Jericho moved away from Olivia, saying,

"You can see the book you want later. Let's just have tea first."

Finally, Olivia was able to breathe again.

While still holding the book given by Jericho earlier, Olivia then followed Jericho, to sit down to enjoy tea and croissants, which had been presented on the table.

"If you want to read it, you can take the book with you" Jericho said. "You can also bring another book."

After sipping a little tea from her cup, Olivia then said,

"I know this is a rare book. I don't dare to take him. I'll just see—read his— here, briefly."

"No problem ... You just take it! As long as you don't forget, to return it to me later" Jericho said,

Jericho seemed to be holding himself back from laughing, as if he was just joking, when he said that to Olivia.

"Is it really okay if I borrow it?" ask Olivia, make sure.

"Of course! ... You can read it until you are satisfied. There is no need to rush to return it" Jericho said.

"Oh, yes! ... Thank you, because you made Jonah look good tonight" Jericho continued, then sipped a little tea.

"You don't need to thank me, sir ... I also feel good, when I spend time with her" Olivia said, to be honest.

When Olivia bit her croissant a bit, Jericho suddenly said,

"Can I know? Did you last afternoon, so meet Angelo?"

While pulverizing the croissant piece in her mouth, Olivia thought, if she could really tell, about her encounter with Angelo, to Jericho.

"I'm sorry ... I have no intention of bothering you, by alluding to Angelo. I know you're her ex-boyfriend, because you said that....

... But I was wondering why Angelo wanted to see you. Do you have anything to do with her lover she's been looking for, for some time now?" Jericho.

"Hm ... What do you know about Angelo, sir?" ask Olivia.

"Angelo is my junior at university. Plus, because the Angelo family company is one of the investors, so I think I know him quite well" Jericho said.

"That's not what I mean, Sir ... But, about him looking for someone," said Olivia, explaining the question earlier.

"Ooh...!" Jericho looks to nod his head.

"From the conversations in the alumni group who were my age, someone said that Angelo returned to this country, since a few weeks ago....

...Then, what made the conversation so interesting from my friends, was because Angelo was looking for his girlfriend, since he arrived in this country....

... According to one of my friends, Angelo is obsessed with his lover. To the extent that, he had hit the dean. Because the dean did not want to give information about his lover," said Jericho.

As if she had just fallen from a height, Olivia felt that her entire body had lost its strength, after hearing the words from Jericho.

"That's why I asked. Because I'm worried, just in case Angelo is babysitting you, just because of his obsession for his girlfriend" Jericho said.

"Sir...! I'm...." Olivia wanted to be frank with Jericho, but was still obstructed with doubt, until she held back her words.

After a while, but Olivia was silent, Jericho seemed impatient, and Jericho said,

"What's wrong? Just say! You don't have to cover it up. Because I'm getting more worried, just in case Angelo might hurt you."

Olivia remained silent for a while later, occasionally looking at Jericho, then looking up at the table, alternately.

"Olivia! Can't you trust me?" jericho asked, staring fixedly at Olivia.

"It's not so, sir.." replied Olivia, slowly.

"Then what? You really just worry me" said Jericho, who started to look riled up.
