Yup! I Love You, Sir!

Part 47's

As a guest at Jericho's house, Olivia certainly can't act as she pleases, in order to appreciate the owner of the house.

So that after hearing Jericho's words that sounded like an order, telling them to stop playing, Olivia immediately obeyed him, so that Jericho would not have to repeat his words again.

Before the others stood up from the floor, Olivia hurriedly stood there first.

In contrast to Olivia, the response shown by Johan and Jonah, it shows their reluctance, to obey the words of Jericho.

Johan with his smile, which to Olivia felt insincere, and more like he was smiling cynically, only moved slowly to stand up from the floor.

Jonah, on the other hand, just turned his face away, as if he did not want to look at Jericho, and still compose the pieces of his Lego game.

Somewhat surprisingly for Olivia, when she saw Jonah who was like he was contradicting, and against the words of Jericho.

According to Olivia's assessment, both Johan and Jonah, both seem to be unhappy with the situation at the time.

What was? What's wrong?

If it was just Jonah, who reacted like that, Olivia might be able to understand. Because it could be, if Jonah still wants to play, and he does not want to be disturbed.

And it seems, it is not too surprising that children like Jonah, reject the direction of their parents, when they are busy playing.

But what about Johan?

Although Jericho said that his relationship with Johan was not very good, but according to Olivia, people like Johan, it is impossible to show about it to others.

Moreover, for some occasions, when Olivia was able to meet simultaneously with Jericho and Johan, it seems, there was none between the daddy and the child, who acted as they are today.

Then what's different?

Curiously, Olivia secretly tried to observe the situation in the place, taking into account the movements of Jericho, Johan, and a woman who was with Jericho, alternately.

Johan who had tidied up his potluck, his shirt and pants were a little messy, then approached Olivia, and at that moment, Johan's smile while looking at Olivia, again felt sincere.

While Jericho, still put on a look of displeased face, while looking at Jonah, and not much different, as well as can be seen, on the woman who was with him.

"Jonah! Stop playing!" jericho said, looking increasingly upset.

However, Jonah acted as if he had not listened to his father's words, and remained busy with his game.

Jonah did not even want to raise his gaze, to look towards Jericho, who had just repeated his reprimand.

"What did you teach him?" The woman who was with Jericho, asked the question, which was most likely, her words were being directed to Jericho.

Jonah's nanny, who was standing not far from it, approached Jonah, and crouched down beside him.

Apparently, Jonah's nanny was trying to persuade the boy to follow his daddy's words.

But nothing has changed there.

For some time to pass, Jonah stays with his own world, making the woman who is with Jericho look even more upset.

"Jonah! It's time for dinner! You can't make guests, so wait any longer!" said the woman who was with Jericho, with a firm tone of voice.

"I'm not hungry, mommy!" jonah said, without taking his eyes off the Lego game.

Hearing Jonah's words, then Olivia found out that the woman who was with Jericho was, apparently, the ex-wife of Jericho.

"Jonah! Where's your manners? Guests coming, because of your birthday! How could you not welcome them!" Mommy from Jonah, looks more and more furious.

Nevertheless, Jonah remained unreacted, and at once, it seemed, the mommy of Jonah who approached Jonah, looked as if he was going to drag Jonah who was still sitting on the floor, forcibly.

Not sure what possessed Olivia, to the point that without her noticing, she had moved spontaneously, walked up to Jonah, and squatted nearby.

"Jonah ...! I'll keep you playing. But later after we finish dinner, because I'm so hungry. Jonah wants to come with me to dinner, right?!"

While speaking in a soft voice, Olivia reasoned to persuade Jonah, so that the boy would stand up from there, and join the dinner together.

And it seems, Olivia's intention that Jonah not make her parents more upset, and avoid the situation that might become increasingly tense, is indeed successful.

Because Jonah then looked at Olivia fixedly, and said,

"Will Miss Olivia promise?"

With a smile, Olivia then pointed her little finger, inviting Jonah to make a pinky promise with her. "Of course!"

Jonah then stood up from the floor, and just then, Jericho immediately held his hand, then took Jonah walking away from there with him.

Later, Jericho also invited other people who were in the room, to come with him, to the room that had been prepared, for dinner together.

Like a convoy of sheep, the mommy of Jonah, and Jericho who still held Jonah's hand, walked side by side at the very front.

Then following not far behind them, Olivia and Johan were also walking side by side.

And so did the other guests, who also followed, by walking at the very back of the line.

Johan may realize, if Olivia was watching the woman in front of him, who is the mommy of Jonah, so Johan suddenly berjeltuk,

"Laura."

"Ugh ...? What did you say just now, sir?" ask Olivia, confused.

"His name is Laura." Johan repeated his words. "Didn't you know him?"

Olivia shook her head. "No, Sir."

"really? She was a famous top model" Johan said, as if not believing Olivia's answer.

"I didn't pay much attention to modeling trends" Olivia said, smiling.

Then, just intending to joke around, Olivia swung her hand once, pointing at herself, from top to bottom.

Johan seems to understand the meaning of Olivia's signal just now, if Olivia only wears simple-style clothes that are ordinary, and do not follow the trend of the current model.

"The simpler, the better!" johan said, smiling, and Olivia also smiled at him.

They all kept walking, until they entered a room with a long table, and chairs neatly lined up on each side.

Johan then invited Olivia, to sit in a chair beside him, whose layout was opposite the seat, which was used by Jericho, Laura and Jonah.

The other guests also sat by taking the empty seats available there.

Before they began their dinner, a medium-sized birthday cake, ushered by workers at Jericho's house, came near the dinner table.

Everyone who was there sang a happy birthday song.

And after Jonah blew out the lit candle on the cake, until all the candles were extinguished, simultaneously, everyone who was there, then gave a happy birthday to Jonah.

In general, children will certainly look happy, when his birthday is celebrated, with the presence of both parents, and the presence of other people closest to him.

But the reality is not so, according to Olivia's judgment.

Jonah just looks as if he just had to, when he blew out the candles, then cut his birthday cake, and give pieces of cake to Jericho and Laura.

In fact, until the time Jonah received birthday greetings, from all the people he invited, although only a little, there was no visible smile on Jonah's face.

Until dinner began to be served, and everyone began to enjoy the food, Jonah still looked lethargic, and seemed to have no taste for food.

Olivia, who noticed Jonah's movements earlier, then waved her hand slowly, inviting Jonah to come closer to her, when her eyes collided with Jonah.

As if Jonah was hoping for Olivia to call him, until without lingering, Jonah immediately moved from his seat, then approached Olivia.

Johan, who seemed to understand, thought about what Olivia and Jonah were thinking, then moved his seat, and let Jonah sit in the middle, between himself and Olivia.

"Jonah must eat ...! So that we can play longer" said Olivia slowly, persuading Jonah.

"Come, Miss!"

Nodding her head, Jonah agrees to Olivia's request, though the boy still looks lethargic.

And before Jonah changed his mind, Olivia immediately took food for the boy.

When Jonah started eating his food, Laura suddenly heard a voice saying,

"Nurse like you, how much do you pay?"

Rebellious questions from Laura, attracting the attention of Olivia, to look at the woman, who is now seen putting on an unhappy face, and is staring at Olivia fixedly.

"Didn't you hear me? How much you pay?" asked Laura again, in a tone of voice that seemed to be underestimating Olivia.
