While eating dinner, I suddenly remembered the request.
I can't forget how the crystal ball was emitting a strange red glow.
Mom tried to get me to eat more, but I didn't want to. My stomach is full.
"Shopie, you have to eat more if you want to grow up and be strong" she said
"Mom, I don't want to grow up anymore!" myrag. "I'm taller than Mom, but I'm only thirteen !"
"Please don't yell, you're disturbing my eating atmosphere" Dad said as he ate instant noodles.
The rain that fell all afternoon made the atmosphere cold, that's why Dad cooked noodles.
"I was also tall when I was thirteen" Mother said seriously.
Dipped the sauce on Dad.
"Then I shrieked!" rendy exclaimed, scoffing. My sister thinks it's funny.
"I mean I'm tall for a kid my age" said Mother.
"Well, I'm too tall for a kid of my age" I grumbled. "I'm too
tall for a child of any age."
"In a few years you won't talk like that" said Mother.
"There's crackers?" ask Mom.
I actually know there are crackers. It
just wanted me to wake up and get it. Mom took it back, then came back and gave Daddy crackers.
"How's your basketball practice, Shopie?" ask Dad to me.
I pout and throw two thumbs down.
"He's too tall to play basketball" cut Rendy with a mouthful of food.
"Basketball needs stamina" Dad said.
Sometimes I don't know why you say things like that.
I mean, should I answer what such a word is?
Suddenly I remembered the mad woman earlier and the request I had uttered.
"Hey, will Rendy play basketball for a while after dinner with me?" my many.
We've got a basketball hoop in front of the garage and there's a floodlight to light up the driveway. Sometimes after dinner Rendy and I play one-on-one basketball. You know it's to freshen up before doing homework. Rendy looked out the dining room window.
"yeah. Already," I said.
"About half an hour ago."
The ground is still wet" he said.
"A little puddle of water won't ruin your game" I said with a laugh.
Rendy was good at basketball. He has the talent to be an athlete. So of course he's barely interested in playing with me. He prefers to read books in his room. Any book.
"I do a lot of homework" Rendy said as she pushed her sagging black-framed glasses.
Just for a moment," I said. Plead. "Just shooting practice
little." little."
"Help your sister" urged Dad. "You can teach him. Rendy had to agree.
"Okay, but just for a second, yeah." He looked out the window again.
"Hmm.we will be soaking wet," he murmured while looking out.
"I'll bring you a towel" I said grimacingly.
"Why do we want to do this" muttered Rendy
I know this is ridiculous, but I have to see if my request is made
veracity.
Could I suddenly be a basketball player?
Could I suddenly defeat Rendy?
Can you really put the ball in the ring?
Can I carry the ball without tripping?
Carry the ball in the direction I want it to?
Catching a ball mentally without my chest?
The question kept turning in my mind.
I kept mocking myself for thinking about my request earlier. Sillier. Really ridiculous. Just because a mad woman offers to grant three wishes, I said in my heart, doesn't mean you have to
excited and thought you'd instantly turn into a great Basketball Player!
But I can't wait to fight Rendy. Will I receive a big surprise?
