Chapter 45

Mr. Naryo and Ms. Susi have arrived at the hospital. Susi called Iwan asking where Rena was in the room. Iwan tells Susi that Rena is still in the operating room. Mr. Naryo and Ms. Susi rushed to the operating room.

"Iwan Iwan.. How's Rena ? why does it happen like this ?" ask Mr. Naryo.

"It's all Iwan's fault sir, ma'am." Iwan cries and tells her everything she did to Rena including about her marriage to Sinta.

Mr. Naryo and Ms. Susi felt very shocked, disappointed and angry at Iwan. They didn't expect Iwan to do that to their daughter.

"What's wrong with my daughter ? did he hurt you ? is he rude to you ? what did he say was his mistake ? until you treat my daughter like that." Susi said while crying.

"Your actions are criminal, I will report you to the authorities. You raped my daughter until she got pregnant now you hurt her heart and physique !" Mr. Naryo is angry.

"No sir, we'll just accept Iwan's treatment of our daughter, it's too easy if he only gets a prison sentence. We do not need to report to the authorities, so that God will reply, I will pray that any pain my daughter receives will be more painful."Susi's mother cried her heart really hurt knowing her daughter's suffering all this time.

The doctor came out of the operating room, Iwan who from earlier was just silent and downcast immediately ran to the doctor and asked about the state of Rena.

"We've tried our best sir but I'm sorry baby bu Rena died and Bu Rena still hasn't gone through her critical period." The doctor answered Iwan's question.

Mr. Naryo and Ms. Susi cried and hugged, Iwan just fell silent his tears no longer want to drip. He regretted his actions that had made his baby unsaved.

Mr. Naryo immediately takes care for the funeral of his granddaughter. The tiny baby who turned out to be a male sex was in Pak Naryo's arms and was ready for the tomb.

Mr. Naryo did not intentionally allow Iwan to participate in the funeral process of his grandchildren because the heart of Mr. Naryo was so sick to see his grandson died because of the fault of his biological father.

Rena has been moved to the ward but she is still not self-conscious. Susi always faithfully accompanied her daughter. Every now and then Bu Susi's tears trickled down looking at her daughter who was so pitiful.

"Wake up, son, this is my mother. Mom's here for you. I'm sorry, son, I don't know if your life has been full of suffering. Be aware that dear mother loves you." Susi's mom cried and kissed Rena's hand.

"Wake up baby, I'm sorry" said Iwan lirih while wiping his tears.

Sinta rubbed Iwan's back, he was also sad because all this happened because of his mistake.

"I want to see my son's grave." Iwan said to Sinta while walking to the parking lot to take a car and will go to the cemetery.

"I'm coming with you mas." Sinta follows Iwan and they set off together for the funeral.

Iwan's tears kept dripping his chest so. Along the way there were only cries there was no conversation between Iwan and Sinta.
