Wounds & Tears

CHAPTER 2

Arriving in the principal's room Rena knocked on the door and said hello." Assalamualaikum," cried Rena. "Greetings waalaikum, come in!" sounds from within. Rena walked in and closed the door slowly and walked over to the headmaster's desk. "Mother called me?" ask Rena. "Yes sit down". replied Danu the headmaster. Rena sat down and her cold sweat started to come out.

"Rena, this has been the number of times I remind you to immediately pay for school finances, because this is almost a class increase exam.if you don't pay you can't take the exam." said mr. Danu. Rena just shut up and looked down. " If you don't pay for it immediately, your dependents will swell." added Mr. Danu. Rena cried and replied, "sorry sir, my parents have no money.,"

"Where are your parents I want to meet them tomorrow, please tell them to come here tomorrow morning." said Mr. Danu. "They're not at home sir they work in town B and rarely come home" replied Rena. "Who takes care of you?" ask Danu sir. "I'm at home alone with my sister sir." replied Rena tearfully. "Well you go back to class and remember to call your parents immediately to pay your school fees." said Mr. Danu. "Okay sir, I'll excuse you" said Rena.

After getting out of the room headmaster Rena did not enter the class he walked into the school garden and sat alone his vision was empty his mind was deadlocked. He had often contacted his parents to ask for money to pay for school fees, but they were also struggling for money. No tears Rena's shed." Maybe it's better I quit school and look for work." Rena's inner self.

Brief story of the school hours ended.Bel the sign home also reads, all students rushed out of class. But Rena and her two best friends are still sitting in the classroom.

" Are you sure you want to quit school ?" Ask Wulan. Rena just nodded while continuing to shed her tears. While Ima just cried while hugging Rena. He couldn't afford to see his best friend drop out of school. " I'm sorry we can't help you Ren" said Ima. Rena smiled "Nothing, you are still my best friend." The three of them embraced.

 

 

"Sorry mom but my parents' situation is really hard mom." replied Rena while crying. Miss Dewi also cried and hugged Rena.

 

Rena has returned home and told her parents that she has quit school because there is no cost. And her parents could only cry and apologize for not being able to send Rena to high school.

 

Rena just cries and is sad because she dropped out of school. In her heart, "well tomorrow I'll find work to help my parents and my sister." she wiped her tears. Then rush to the bathroom to clean up.
