Chapter 28.

Iwan came home from his place of work, he went into a house that felt lonely. "Where is Rena, why is it so quiet." said Iwan lirih.

Iwan headed to her room and found Rena sitting on her dressing chair. He daydreamed, his eyes staring blankly at his own shadow.

Iwan approached Rena and rubbed Rena's head. Rena was a little surprised because she did not realize that Iwan entered. Rena's eyes make Iwan curious and want to ask what is wrong, but he did not because Rena moved to go outside the room.

Rena did avoid Iwan, she walked towards the back porch of her house. The wind in the afternoon hit her made Rena close her eyes and feel the fresh breeze that afternoon and without feeling any tears dripping in the corner of Rena's eyes.

Yes Rena's heart was so grievous, her heart was so hurt when she remembered what her in-laws had said this morning. Iwan came and hugged Rena from behind. Iwan's hand gently rubbed Rena's distended stomach.

Rena slightly flinched and wanted to dodge but Iwan tightened his embrace. "What's the matter, baby ? why are you sad ?" ask Iwan slowly.

Rena just shook her head she was reluctant to answer Iwan's question. Iwan flips Rena's body and confronts her. Slowly Iwan kisses Rena's lips and deepens her kiss. Rena compensates for Iwan's kiss but moments Rena took off the kiss and took a few steps back.

"Why dear ?" Ask Rena.

Rena walked towards the chair and sat herself down on the wooden chair. Rena took a breath and exhaled her rather roughly. "Mas, if we split up later I want my son to come with me."Rena said slowly.

"You mean ?" Iwan asked Rena.

"Yes, if we split up I want my son to come with me. I don't want my son to go with stepmother and you hope you'll be happy mas."Reported Rena makes Iwan's heart a little sore.

"What did you say Rena ? we will not be separated, we will take care of our children together." Iwan said.

"If you hadn't fucked me that time and I wasn't pregnant, it probably wouldn't have been like this. Sometimes I feel like I'm the victim but I'm treated like I'm the suspect. Your parents continue to abuse me and hate me."Rena said while crying.

"My parents ? did they come here ?What did they tell you ?" ask Iwan curiously.

Rena smiled bitterly at Iwan's question.

"Why are you asking, don't you already know what they think they're telling me" Rena replied.

"I just want to hear from your own mouth what's really going on" Rena said.

"Well I'll be honest with you Rena" replied Iwan.

Iwan then told Rena about his meeting with Mr. Rudi at that time. About his parents who told Iwan to divorce Rena after giving birth and told to marry Sinta.

Rena's heart is so sore, so sick, the new household as old as corn will soon fall apart.

Iwan approached Rena and held Rena's hand. "Don't cry baby, I won't divorce you, we'll live together caring for our child, trust me." Iwan tried to convince Rena.
